If she had driven to his house to meet with him, he possibly used her car to move her before dumping it 1.2 mi from his house. If this is what happened, it's possible they found something in her car, like blood smearing in the trunk? Giving them the search warrant wherein they found copious amounts of blood evidence in the home? I think anything less would not warrant the FBI?

I may have missed something. Is there a video of him driving her car that morning or are you saying "IF" he is on video driving her car?

Continuing in use of the conditional per if... and what would be needed. I haven't heard anything about a video apart from the LE actively seeking them and collecting video from that area.

Well the Sheriff himself stated that the FBI was there because they have the forensic expertise and equipment, after a reporter asked why FBI was there.

Yes, they also get involved when there is an interstate component. It doesn't seem like that's the case here but I guess you never know. I got the impression they were not leading the investigation, but assisting. Imo

To be fair, the area around 38th wasn’t and still isn’t exactly... great. Promise you’ll find more than a bra if you drive down Hosmer. And parkland is a hot spot for gangs. However, that does not matter to home buyers as Tacoma has become number 1 in the housing market.

Anyway, it sounds hopeful they found some sort of lead. Still a very sad situation.

The Sheriff also stated that there were searches, or at least investigations going on elsewhere. I wonder if there's a team at that Pt. Defiance area.
Are there cliffs I wonder? Phone likely was tossed over the edge into the water imo. What about wooded areas?
Also wonder about cameras on the way. Possibly his truck, or Kassanndra's car, was seen going there that day.....maybe the "probable cause" pt. in the search warrant.

Regarding the verification that she is pregnant. The place that does the ultrasound, would they need a doctor to schedule that or can an individual schedule it? I don't see Kassanndra faking a pregnancy, jmo, especially with a bd that has made it clear he doesn't want kids. I think she was pregnant and wanted to have the baby - she probably was hopeful that he would change his mind and be an involved father. He saw it as a trap, nothing he wanted in life and he was facing long time financial obligations.

Not sure if she would need her Dr. referral for ultrasound or not-- I think it depends on health insurance policy, if she had one.
I know my insurance required a referral from my OB/GYN and my OB scheduled my ultrasounds.
Of course, that was many years ago also

Wow, they had been at the scene all night. Sounds like something horrible happened in that home. Poor Kassanndra. Her family must be devastated.

it sounds like the father/ex are one and the same and that's the house the FBI are searching.

The twin thing...she is a twin with her brother, no? So fraternal twins is hereditary and maybe she was showing more than she should and/or her blood test had high HCG levels.

I did note in the pressor today, Troyer said they are in the process of verifying KC is pregnant, he mentioned something about his team getting her records today. Just a formality, as I'm sure she is.

I'm still having difficulty understanding how the POI did not think all of this was going to point directly back to him
I guess it could have been a heat of passion thing, where maybe things just got out of control? Because if it was planned, it was a pretty poor one.
