Leaving the keys in the car is definitely something an owner wouldn't do. So clearly who whoever had control of the car and the keys had control of her too. Where is her phone? I love that ET said they "were on the right track", that tells me that they've been on the POI track since the beginning. How long before someone cracks under the pressure?

When names are released, the info on all of the drama will end up being released too. Money is likely a factor, but I think it’s not as big of a motive in this case as others. Moo

Thinking along the lines of “the American tragedy”, I think, water is involved. Either drowning, or drowning the body, and then, abandoning the car. It might be the case without the body.

I think money is the basic motive in nearly all the murders of pregnant women...other motives may be tied to it, but the bottom line is they do not want to pay support to a woman/child they do not want to be with...jmo

I wish I had something to add... Waiting patiently for LE to break this case wide open so we can discuss all the pertinent details.

I don't disagree however, I do wonder if this situation is a bit more emotional and complicated. I'm sure we will find out soon enough.

I think LE is all over this.

"I mean that's all she ever wanted--to be a mom." Friend (Alexandra) saying the two were planning a baby shower together for Halloween.

Boyfriend's truck was taken in.

"Detectives do not consider this a missing persons case any longer."

Friend and family are "hopeful" anyway.

"Alexandra says the ex-boyfriend IS the father of the baby. She also said police told friends and family not to share their opinions about the ex-boyfriend or how he is feeling about this pregnancy with the media." (Direct transcription of wording)

Case of missing and pregnant Pierce County woman now considered a homicide | king5.com

"She also said police told friends and family not to share their opinions about the ex-boyfriend or how he is feeling about this pregnancy with the media." (Direct transcription of wording)"

This tells me that BD knew about this pregnancy before she went missing, which is a question I have had. Which leads me to premeditation in her disappearance and probably murder. I was thinking there may have been a possibility of her surprising him with the news that Tuesday and he freaked out. If there is premeditation involved then there's a good chance that maybe a jealous live in is involved. This is JMO.

Thanks to her friend for clearing this question up about him knowing or not knowing, clearly he's been upset about it and KC knew that. I wonder if she was scared to meet with him that day...

Yes, thinking of it, they are killing not only the woman, but their own flesh and blood. But sadly, men are interested in kids as long as they are interested in the woman, and when they migrate to another woman, her kids become the priority. As to the other woman, she views the kids as the memory of their beloved one once being with someone else. We see it all the time.

Yes I think this one in particular has to do a lot more with emotion and loyalty than some of the other cases we see which are blatantly financial. Moo

I’d also consider a current girlfriend’s feelings of jealousy and betrayal (maybe even rage) if she had been involved long enough to know a pregnancy occurred when a guy was supposedly being faithful.

I’ll be surprised if someone doesn’t talk. If this is truly the ex and not a stranger abduction (which doesn’t sound likely) more than one person knows what happened and may have intense feelings about it.

Isn't that standard operating procedure? Get a lawyer before you talk to the police?

Something that bugs me about this; the cell tower. It states her cellphone last pinged off of a cell tower in Vashon Island.

I did a quick search from cellmapper.net. I know its not the most accurate cell map because I have seen cell towers in areas they dont list.

Cell tower on Vashon is near Frog Holler Forest. Closest area around Point defiance is 4.19 miles
Gig Harbor has a cell tower at Kinbee Hill and that is 1.58 miles away.
Browns point/Indian Hill is 4.44 miles away.

Shouldn't the cell tower in Gig Harbor have picked up her phone first? I also know there are cell towers a few miles south of Point Defiance as I am from the area. Are they triangulating the cell towers her phone connected to?

I think there will be some accessory to murder charges and abuse of corpse charges for someone else if Kassanndra is no longer alive. The person facing those charges would be who I would hope they would get some information out of. Of course, this is merely speculation and my own personal thoughts.

I'm prepared for anything at this point and won't be surprised by anything.

I'm just hoping that justice will be served for Kassanndra.

i’m not in Washington but my husband works in Tacoma and sometimes his calls show up as Vashon island even if he is calling from or getting a call from Tacoma. It seems like it depends on the time of day because even when he is in his apartment in north Tacoma it can shift around.

He does go to Gig Harbor sometimes but those usually show up as a tower on one of the other islands. I watch it occasionally because if he gets too close to Canada they have tried to charge an out of country rate.

just personal experience for Verizon.
