One thing that her mother mentioned was that she left without her EBT card or any money. I’m not sure how she knows KC had no money at all but if she really left without any type of resources it does seem that she planned to meet someone and not make any type of purchases herself before returning home.

Most people wouldn’t take off without access to at least a small amount of money. Which could mean she either planned to come back home fairly quickly or depend on the person she was meeting to provide that type of support (if she truly planned to be gone for a while).

If she had no money or credit cards what was the reason she was going to the grocery? Wouldn't her mom think that was strange for her to go with no money?

Ignore the whole grocery thing. IMO. Her mom said she would not put in the prep time or go that early. No signs she went to the store and not consistent with her schedule.
VERY interesting if true she left with no money. If so, unlikely she stopped for coffee or met at a restaurant. (Not saying she would have spent money, but if you meet at these places you do bring money). Darn it Kassanndra I wish you insisted on a coffee meet up. That huge park :(

stupid park date sounds covid safe until it isn’t. Should have made that assh0le buy a smoothie at least. JMO :(

or maybe she just went to his place. No cash needed there.

Apologies for jumping in late, and admittedly have not read the entire discussion. Do we have a map of car, home, grocery and phone ping location? I'm curious to have a closer look. This article specifies some locations.

Investigators suspect foul play in search for missing Parkland woman

Given the person of interest and related search warrants, it does look like that suspect could be known to the victim.

I doubt WS bothered to add the grocery ( I saw two locations cited As KC favorites) but other more key spots are in map by @spiritseeker31 Kassandra Cantrell - خرائطي على Google

Does that mean she left her wallet at home?
Or her cards/cash were left laying out?
Has Kassanndra always lived with her mother, maybe they shared a bank account?

Yes, in a video interview mom has said they always lived together and would continue to do so- they had a garage apartment they would renovate for her to move into and raise the baby.

I agree we need to scratch the grocery store altogether. I think it was one of those “I’ll go pick some stuff up tomorrow” which turned into something bigger when she went missing. I think she was going to go later in the day but got up early and dressed up (relative to her normal mode of appearance) to go to a special meet up, grocery was far from her mind at that point in time.

Thank you! Taking a screen shot of the map.

Home, phone ping, car location are my starting points - trying to get a sense of the area.

Is there a boat? Why the phone across the water?

How does one get from home, to the location of the car, to the location of the last phone ping? Boat from Ruston, freeways, how?

Her body could be in the middle of a fire storm today.

No one has reported either of those things publicly that I have heard, just that she lived with her mom and stepfather now.

Her mom does seem to be clued in to what KC does in her life, but is likely not privy to everything. She has given the impression that she does not like the supposed POI — KC wouldn’t be likely to talk much about him.

Children don’t typically tell parents everything, no matter what parents might believe.

It may have pinged on Vashon but that doesn’t mean she was there. My husband’s phone sometimes pings from there when he is in north Tacoma.

The obvious next question is who was on the boat to Tahlequah in the 48 hours after she was last seen? Was she on the boat? How did her phone get there?

Thank you! We need a cell phone tower map. There's a national map online and then narrow into the region - will look for the link, maybe someone has it handy?

Phone was probably the last thing to be hidden - along the lines of wanting to know who has noticed this dead person in my care is missing.

I'm guessing death happened between home and car locations, she did not park her car where it was found.

I'm late to the conversation - is this something everyone has already figured out and I'm late to the party?

Between home, search warrant locations, and car is ... her body?

Is there cell phone info of who she spoke to last? Did she have an early morning date where she felt completely safe with the person she was meeting? Who might that be?

Cell phone map :

United States Cell Tower Map - SCADACore

The question is whether her phone did ping in Talhequah or whether her phone pinged on towers and Talhequah is in the cell tower radius range.

She's 33 years old, pregnant, ex-boyfriend, missing, person of interest, and she was last known to be living with her mother and step-father. At 33, did she have a job?

This has nothing to do with children communicating with parents, more about why a 33 year old pregnant woman is living with her mom.

'A spokesman for the Pierce County Sheriff's Office said investigators have identified a person of interest who could be connected to the disappearance of Kassandra Cantrell, 33, but they did not name that person. ...

"We are treating this as a homicide investigation until something tells us differently," Pierce County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Ed Troyer said. "She is still missing under highly suspicious circumstances." ...

Cantrell went missing on the morning of Aug. 25 after she left her family's house in Parkland. Her mother, Marie Smith, says Cantrell had a doctor’s appointment for her first ultrasound on Wednesday and also planned to go grocery shopping, but she didn’t have any money on her and her EBT card has not been used."

I'm from this area. Her house is 5 minites from my mom & my sister went to high school with her (different year though). He house to where he car was found is 10 ish miles. in a NE direction. Cell pinged 10-15 miles in a NW direction. The car and phone ping & house are almost in a triangle. Her car was found in an area known for crime and there is public transportation near there. IMO dumped in that area because either they figured it would get stolen or go undetected since many people park there and ride the trsins/busses.
Quite possible she was killed in the park (it's very large and heavily forested, with water bordering it. ) and hidden there or in the water.
It's really sad and I feel for her mom & family. I just wonder if cameras bear the park or train station caught anything.

thats probably the nearest tower. If they were at the water in the park its possible. I grew up there and have been to that park almost weekly.
