kseal07--Department of Natural Resources.

Scandi--Yes, my son has been gone a year and I am so ready for the stress to be over. My oldest step son is at Ft Benning at basic training.. I think he will probably go to Afganistan within the next year. I fear that more than I feared my son going to Iraq.. we just lost a local boy (he actually attended school with my son) in Afgan. Last Saturday was his funeral.. I still tear up when I think about his family. I hope I never feel that pain.
Hugs to you~ You are a brave mother and should be very proud of the sons (and the other six children) you have raised. I am excited for you to see your son again very soon. I am sure it will be such a huge relief!

yeah, I seen they put some new supports up at the high voltage power line crossing.. those are mighty fancy ;) Hope those are just temporary.. lol

Out by Fairgrounds road I saw some guys out with the orange vests on and I told my husband "Slow down so I can see if they are searching or if they are picking up garbage". He did.. and they were picking up garbage. Not a mile down the road their "Youth Ecology Group" van was parked.

did any more info come of the searches yesterday of the ORV park or the street that I can't remember the name of? Or any more clues on the Allen guy? I'm not sure if I missed reading a post or two.

Umm.. I think Scandi tried making some calls and got the run around.

We are no further on those things than we were last night.

I am checking KOMO news now. I haven't heard anything. (Strange. I can't get their website to pull up.)

Why are helicopters searching at night (if that is what they are doing). Can something be seen at night that can't be seen during the day? Do they use night vision googles or something?

I think they use infared for searching at night as that is what bars use for their cameras when the light is so dim. Never forget the time I walked into a place where girls dance in cages and was so disarmed. There was so little light I had to almost walk forward by feeling my way.

My uncle from Seattle invented the silent helicopter and the Columbian gvnmt employs these helicopters to fight the drug war, skimming over land at night looking with infared light and no sound. It is very dangerous he told me. xox

Anyone know what the "rock" is and why they asked for everyone in that area to respond there?

According to the Assessors page the house was sold
scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.
http://www.co.grays-harbor.wa.us/gh_Parcel/Search/DetailParcel.asp?SrchParcelNo=060501101500
If the link doesn't work let me know and I'll take a screen shot.

Am I reading this correctly and they sold this house for $30,000. less than what they purchased it for six months ago?!!!!!!

In a hurry to get out of town much?
Where did they move to?
Hinky meter in the red and shooting up to the sky....

I don't know, I merely glanced at him. I only remember he was wearing something dark. I stood right out in the open talking to KK so he could have come talked to me at anytime. It would have been ok with me, I would have asked him questions back. I am the kind of person that can walk into a room full of people I don't know and find someone to talk to within a few minutes.

He probably heard every word you guys said. I think they need all the tools they can use effectively to make the most of the time spent investigating. xox

Depending on where it came out of, it could mean Rock Candy Mt. or any large rock in any town...or the pizza place in Lacey/Olympia.

He was killed in that big hurricane like storm in December 07, right?

Not to be a stick in the mud, but I recall that storm was in the first week in Jan, even perhaps the 4th. 2008.

The reason I remember is b/c I had to get a new roof as that storm blew off half my shingles...:)
