Don't see fire in the WA state fire incident page.
There has been a fire incident reported locally in brush, etc. on the east side of the Columbia River in the East Wenatchee area today.

Edit: Oops, I should have refreshed my WS page. You beat me to the news.

“Whitney detailed incidents that contributed to the separation, including a situation on Aug. 15, 2024, when Travis allegedly found one of their daughters passed out with a bathrobe tied around her neck at his mother's house and failed to inform Whitney.”
What am I missing? I thought his family lived in Wisconsin and that his mother had passed away a couple years ago?? Did his mother live in Washington and only recently passed? How can he have been at his mother’s house when this incident occurred?
Do you have a source for bolded quote?

I guess there isn't too much to be said about it that wouldn't be pure speculation, but I can say that the "passed out with a bathrobe tied around her neck" mention has been very concerning to me ever since I first read it.

Dry run. IMO.

Agree.
What if he enjoyed it? You can find anything on the Inet these days. God knows what men get obsessed with. Maybe he started with the daughters because he wanted to cut off any ties, but did it the way he enjoyed to. He is probably far away, somewhere on the trails.

If he is surviving in the wilderness, I can't see him surviving long once the temperatures drop and the snow comes.

I highly doubt he has survival gear with him that would be sufficient for those conditions.

If he didn’t commit suicide then he could have planned his escapade quite well and had supplies hidden given his trial of this previously

I want nothing more than for the searches to find TD's remains and put an end to this search.
WD deserves answers and some finality, because she'll never get closure IMO.
Agreed.
If he's killed himself I reckon he's deliberately gone somewhere where it's very hard to find him - just so that it's an extra torment for WD - the not knowing if he's still alive and a danger to others or not.

I wouldn't be surprised at what TD may have stashed prior to or brought with him on May 30th.

If he's not dead already, I wouldn't expect him to stay in that area. I believe he would have planned a way to get out of there ASAP and on to somewhere where he could lay low and not be recognized.

He could have also changed his appearance dramatically. I've seen several photos and vids of him that all look like a completely different person to me. Clean shaven vs. facial hair, short buzzed hair vs. the long stringy brown hair, clothes, especially ones covering his tats, etc.

He can run if he's still alive, but he won't be able to hide forever.

Whitney shared how, following her and Travis’ divorce, she would often ask her girls what three emotions they felt each day.

"For Paityn, she always had more than three, consistently eager to tell me about every minute of her day," Whitney shared. "She was always interrupting her sisters to make sure I knew every single one. For Ev, we would talk about her feelings one-on-one right at bedtime because she wasn't always ready to share them with her sisters."

Meanwhile, she and Olivia were "still working on how to describe her feelings," but that "one was always 'happy.'"

Thank you @imstilla.grandma for posting this article.

This bit was news to me. I welcome any of our psychotherapist sleuthers to opine on this.

From a long term neighbor who knew TD, named Binh Nguyen, when TD picked up his girls 5/30:

"“He was skinny,” ... “He had long hair and a beard. I said, ‘Is that you, Travis?’"

“It was kind of weird,”... “He had a sad face.”

[He] admitted that the military veteran seemed distracted during their 10-minute exchange..."

IMO, it sounds like TD had been and was in a very dark place when he picked the girls up.

Yes, my inner Lagertha remains on vigorous watch for the weakened, cowardly suspect...

Also sounds like the neighbor didn't necessarily desire to speak about TD's appearance, behavior or speech but "for the greater good" It seems as though it has taken awhile for this information disclosure.

Actually, the info mentioned was mentioned by the neighbour soon after the incident. Discussed in the first thread.

Same here, and these things as well IMO/BBM:

This is from a Daily Mail article, so take it as you will, but I had read upthread about the welts between Evelyn's legs and it was discussed how that could occur, and they do cite the Seattle Times for some of this.

"Whitney also stated in September divorce proceedings that he had been 'struggling to maintain stability' since they separated and it was beginning to affect their daughters.
....
She also said Decker was prone to 'outbursts' and would come into her house yelling for the girls, whom he would sometimes fail to pick up after promising to do so.

In one instance, Whitney wrote that her youngest daughter, Olivia, called her crying during a visit with Decker and said she could not find her father - before Evelyn came home with welts between her legs.
....
The girls' maternal grandmother similarly wrote that Decker would drop off the girls at inconsistent times and they would sometimes be upset or crying when they returned home.

'They are all happy, smart, well-adjusted girls with the exception of when Travis brings them back to me after his visitations,' she wrote, according to the Seattle Times."
