I wonder if psychopath and sociopath are different?

I just read that he was physically abusive towards Rachael. First of all, that breaks my heart. Rachael was a kind and wonderful person...I can't say enough good things about her. Secondly, I wonder if this was a pattern for him? Had he physically abused previous wives? One does not develop these tendencies overnight!

Yes Friend. He has a historyof being abusive. Physically and mentally. He was during our marriage. We were going to counseling at one point and he stopped going. The counselor told me he thought Charles was a sociopath.

I wasn't aware that FB was time zone sensitive???? I see the original post as of 1:49 pm on 4/20 and the next post, later that evening at 9:33 pm---Strange.... I see where five people responded later that evening and the next day, and the comment on the search. I had forgotten about that..Seems there is not alot of activity on the site, except for the annoucements of the young peoples groups and the men's group...and lots of eating being done.
As far as emails, why send everyone an email--(and what church asks for your email address?) when everyone apparently has a direct link to their FB page? Doesn't make sense.

Fapone, welcome back. How awful for you! How did you end up getting out? Was he charming in the beginning? What drew you to him?

Knowing Rachael like I did - he must have had some things about him that made her love him.

If he's involved with her disappearance, do you think he will come forward?

TheCrossing Moscow HELP NEEDED TODAY! Church family,Many of you may have seen Rachael Anderson Capone was reported missing on Monday. Here's a link to the story http://www.klewtv.com/news/local/91560409.html She was last heard from on Friday. The church has been asked to help with a search in Lewiston this afternoon. We will be leaving from the church at 2 p.m. today and are in need of those who can help search. Anyone with metal detectors (even if you can loan it for the afternoon) please contact the church soon. Also, if you can come, wear boots, clothes for warm weather and bring water.

Daughters reported 40-year-old, Rachael Anderson missing Monday after she failed to show up for work. Police say Anderson has recently reported being harassed and a victim of malicious mischief.

I thought he was stable. He came off as a clean cut guy. He was in the Navy. Visiting his mother when I met him. He made a good impression on my family. He seemed solid. It wasn't long after we married that he went awol from the Navy and it went downhill from there. Little by little. He played head games so I was never really sure, you know, I was never certain that the way I was adding things up were true. He made me doubt what I was seeing. It was very terrifying.

If he is involved with Rachael's dissapearance, I don't think he'd ever admit to it. IMO. He's very tricky with his words. Clever. But if they know what kind of person they're dealing with, I think there might be a chance they can trip him up. He's arrogant and narcasstic, IMO.

But I don't see him giving up any incriminating information voluntarily. IMO

Honestly, I thought it was because he knew the counselor saw right through him. This was around the time I started trusting my own instincts again. Just my opinion, but I think he felt threatened.

Also imo, he didn't see that he needed any help.

This was court ordered counseling needed to get my daughter back from child protective services. I called CPS for help when I came home from work and found a bruise covering my 8 week olds spine to the back of her knees. Even though he admitted doing it (because she was crying and he didn't know what to do, blah, blah, blah), I still felt ill equipped to deal with it alone. I called CPS for help and they took her from our custody. Part of our parental agreement to get her placed back into our home required counseling.

So maybe he just didn't want to face himself? I don't know.

Btw, I did have my daughter returned to my custody after I divorced him. She was about 18 months old by that time.

My personal opinion is that they picked him up on the federal warrant so they would have more options regarding how to interview him. Which is also why (I think) the ATF guy said they would be requesting he remain in custody after arraignment. City and County authorities have tighter limits as to how they are allowed to treat a suspect, person of interest, or even a material witness. Just my opinion. (Vee haff vays ov making you talk......a little levity)

It sounds like he made Rachael doubt herself too and played head games with her as well.

Do you think if they played to his narcissistic tendencies, let him brag? I don't know, I just don't know him. I was hoping there was some way that he would be willing to say where she was if he knew. If they offered him a deal, do you think he would?

I agree, as long as he is booked they can hound him in ways they couldnt before. I DO SO HOPE they see who/what they are dealing with and can BREAK HIM .....

Fapone please send your kids blessings, you all have to be going through some emotional battles right now.

Fapone, did he ever threaten you in a particular way? Meaning did he ever say something like " I could make you disappear and no one would ever find you ......."?
Looks like he is habitual in his abuse as some of what he did to you sounds like what he did to Rachael (stalking, appearing out of nowhere, etc.). Just looking for some kind of clue as to what he may have done with her.

I agree...I can't imagine! I am glad you were strong enough for your kids to get out of the situation!! You are a good mother...and you protected your daughter. There are many woman who continue to remain in situations like that and subject their children to abuse.
