Yes indeed on the death penalty. And more likely to get carried out than if it is determined a murder took place on the WA side of the border. Death penalty there, but they tend to go all squeamish about carrying them out. Haven't looked up stats on that to back it up, but based on word amongst the populace in WA.

I think lethal injection only now in both states. WA also used to hang, but that may have gone away. I think was because some morbidly obese guy screamed about how that would be cruel and unusual punishment and sued them into submission. I don't recall if they managed to stick a needle in is obeseness to get the job done or how that one eventually shook out. Might still be on the books as an option, but I don't think they'd every really consider it anymore. MOO

Regardless of which side of the border though, the option to do away with him is legally on the table, if they got a Murder 1 conviction.

I personally like the fact that the guy in Utah will be standing in front of a firing squad. Call me sic and morbid, but I think it is deserved, what makes me "hot" is when they sit in the system for years and years AND YEARS....JMO

I could be wrong but I do not think and did not think when I read this post that you were/are being singled out. There have been plenty of posts that have been removed mine included, I don't remember you being one that bashed a father.
Did I take the context of what you are saying here wrong? It is early and I am still on my first cup of coffee, but as I recall you have only been helpful.

It is hard in a small community like this with people being friends of the victim and LE not communicating all the info they have. I will say this to attack the fathers of the sons or discredit them when they are taking care of the children is uncalled for, I know some of these posts have been removed but this is what I'm referring to and it is not anyone in paticular I just know there has been some unnecessary banter towards least one of the fathers and speculations have been there about both. For whatever reasons RA and them seperated are between them and of course most times people only get one side of the story and tend to side with their friend. I happen to know both fathers and can tell you they are very supportive and caring of their children and the ex before CC gave her everything she wanted/needed. I have never met RA but I have met her sons and their fathers have been family friends for years one with me and one with my mother. I will say this RA was very aware and had full knowledge of CC's past and criminal record and the fathers are and very well should be upset that their sons were ever exposed to this man. I am not saying this to get people worked up or start saying no she would never have been with this sort of man because the fact is she did know, her youngest sons father knew and did not think it was in her or her childrens best interest to hook up with this guy especially after not knowing him very long. For Christmas he spanked her 11 year old, took all of his presents and crushed them and threw all of her's out...there was other abuse these poor innocent boys and RA should not have been exposed to as well. We are all greatly concerned for her and have the hope she will be brought home safe for her sake and her childrens sake. We all should be respecting her children & their FATHERS right now and thank God that they have caring fathers that love and support them. It could be worse they could have deadbeat dads that weren't here for them right now but they are and these two men who were not friends at all before are now coming together and working together for the sake of their sons. No her sons do not remember where they went camping or hunting, trust me I tried for an hour to jar her oldests memory, they do not remember because the time spent with CC was not fun or enjoyable. They love their mother and miss her SO MUCH and ask what if mommy never comes home, but they could care less for him and I can say that I for one am glad these little boys will not be subjected to this creep anymore and it is very sad that their mother just very well may never come home to her children because of this monster. Life is about our children plain and simple, I don't care how much of a friend I am to someone, if they are doing things or involving their children in situations that are not in the best interest of their children or themselves I will be and am the first one to step up and voice my concerns and I wish with all my heart that someone had done this with RA. I cannot say everyone knew about CC, I know the oldest sons father did not know a thing until recently, the youngest sons father just adored her so much and assumed she was old enough and wise enough to make good decisions and sometimes we just think it's none of our business. But as we all can tell at this point she was blind sided...the warning signs were there, please people think of your children first because without you they are lost. :furious:

I hope to say this politely enough for the moderators...since you are able to voice your opinions here. I know that some people did voice their concerns to RA. I know she did NOT know the full extent of his record when she was with him. And the fact is that she DID get out. I have not heard anybody say anything about her youngest son's dad at all. He is a good guy and I have not heard anyone say any differently. You say you didn't know RA. So you only have part of the story as well. RA was a wonderful mother and she loved her kids very much. As soon as she realized what was going on, she did get out. RA had a very big heart and she always wanted to believe the best of people. IMO, that's partly why she was targeted by CC. Fapone seems to have a big heart as well. Fapone has mentioned that CC played head games. Both RA and Fapone did the best they knew how to do at the time. CC fooled alot of people. Both RA and Fapone put their kids first once they realized who he was and they LEFT. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

It will be hard on all of RA's children if she doesn't come home alive. A lot of people love them, are praying for them and will be supportive of them. It will be a tragedy if they have to grow up without their mother. It will be hard on all of her friends that loved her dearly.

Where do start to search? My guess is St. Joe's Forest, but he could have disposed of her in a dumpster anywhere too, although, I don't think he thinks like that.

**The post about KGO, the psychic (sic), I found on a general news release site. I don't think his "abilities" are too fine tuned. KWIM? He apparently channels thru Morgan Harrington--if he did---why doesn't he ask her to tell him who murdered her and resolve her case?:waitasec:

I can't see them reducing the charges with his background either. It would be nice if she could be found first, so he could be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law...no DEALS for slime like that.

No I haven't bashed the father cause I am married to the eldest son's father and I appreciate you letting me know that you think my info is helpful!! I never thought that you took anything out of context, I guess I am not alone, but I have always stated in my posts that the info I have would not be verified as LE is tight lipped right now. So if you have to take that as rumors, I am ok with that. Just know that whether I am right or wrong, all the info will come out in due time. Possibly next week??

Still catching up on today, so bear with me if this has already been clarified. I share that confusion. Unless CC moved his shop since these images were taken, PMS is further south and on the WEST side of HYW 95 (Plantation on the east side), but the business sign at the PMS location google shows is NOT clearly readable, so I'm not sure if it has keyed on the correct spot (can barely see Yamaha logo over door of white bldg with blue trim).

But if I am following, that is not correct (bldg with non-readable-but-maybe-PMS sign at the further south locale) -- so shopped either moved or always was NORTH, to the east side of Hwy 95, essentially behind the Chinese restaurant, and directly NORTH of the Plantation (which my old eyeballs tells me is right where I expected it to be). Plantation back off the road enough you can't read signs, and not much to look at even if you could get closer (always better after dark of course).

Is that correct 123?? NSEW directions help me better, as "left" is relative to whatever direction you are facing on the map.

PMS is on the same side of the street as the Plantation and just SOUTH of the Plantation. There is a bank of yellow buildings it is the second yellow building in.

I am very sad to see that AmandaReckonwith has taken Rachaels photobucket pictures off of her site. Seemed to be some trouble with the family and a certain picture. Breaks my heart because I think all those photos really could be helpful to this case.

hahaha no problem. I felt the same way today with only 4 hours of sleep last night. I know that people dont think that they would plea bargain with him based on his rap sheet, but speaking to one person in the family, they stated they didn't care if he walked, as long as RA was brought home. I dont necessarily agree with that.

And no need to worry about my step son. His father is THE MOST AMAZING FATHER I HAVE EVER SEEN. He is so good to his son and in return, he is so good to us. I feel so incredibly lucky to have this special and amazing little man in my life and with us just know that he will have the stability and all the love in the world that he needs right now.

She worked very hard to make screen shots of the various news videos which requires stopping the video at just the right spot, making a screen capture that's just right, locating it on her hard drive, editing it by trimming it as necessary, applying a border, uploading the image, typing a descriptive title, applying tags, etc.

It is a shame that the person who reported her to the police didn't simply contact her and ask her to remove the photo which was sent to her by a relative of Rachael.

I guess maybe I need to clarify what I wrote. Again, this is info I got from the family. Charled told LE that she came up to Moscow Fri (I do not know the time lines) to either get her car or check on progress. He told LE that they met at a bar, had a few drinks and then she left, alone and was mad at him. I have spoke to Office Dan Hally and he states that there have been "confirmations" that she was in Moscow. Now I have no idea if this means that people confirm seeing them at a bar, or if the confirmation just came from Charles admiting to being the last person to see her. Everything else in my last post was my theory
My theory was, they met at a bar - dont know why but if there were confirmations that she was seen, it may have been from the bartender or other patrons in the bar - and I don't know which bar
He says, she left on her own, mad at him. That way it looks like that was the last anyone saw her and maybe the bartender could confirm that she left in her "own" car (I believe it was the loaner since she never got her car)
My theory is she got in the loaner car and went to his business
He got in his car and went to his business
That is where I believe the unknown happened. By telling the LE that she left alone then she would not have got her own car and by placing the loaner car in Lewiston, it showed that she did not go to his business to get the car. I feel this is the "story" he is giving LE because then taking the loaner car to Lewiston throws them off the trail (or maybe that's what he thought) from what really happened in Moscow. Yes his business has been searched and they have found evidence, but of what, those details are not privy to anyone as of yet. Again these are my theories on what happened.

We asked my step son last night if he's willing to talk to an investigator about Charles. He had no idea that Charles was even in question because of all the things he witnessed he was told by his mother that someone else was doing it (and I have spoke to Officer Hally about this other person and he has been cleared) so I don't want to give out any names. But it makes me wonder, did she think that Charles really was not doing any of these things?? Or was she just pertecting her son?? So many holes and unknowns in this case.

Going back through this I wish we knew WHO confirmed seeing Rachael in Moscow. Because if it is just Charles saying that he saw her, the whole "we met at a bar, had a few drinks, she left mad" could have happened in Lewiston, making it way easier for CC to drop the Yukon Monday morning and call his "friend" to come and get him.

I agree. It is indeed a shame. I do know this person that she got the photo from did let the family know it was received from her. It is under my impression that the family has gotten it figured out. I do hope that those involved in tiffs like this realize that at times sparks fly and things happen that normally would not.

I am slightly amazed that the detectives were brought into it, but I suppose there again when people are young and on edge things tend to happen in not the best of ways.

After reading other cases about missing women the husband/boyfriend/fiance always seems to make a plea for her return. I know that this can just be words and have no indication of guilt or innocence, but I just find it odd that CC didn't make some sort of public statement. I don't know what this means, if anything, but it's something that I just noticed. JMO.
