To be honest, I'm finding it a tad bit offensive, and she isn't even my family.

We see her on video after video, and she isn't drunk.
The pizza people, the last ones to see her, say she did NOT appear to have been drinking.

AZ did not tell them she fell down. They noticed her rubbing her knee.

They said she was "nervous" and they assumed she was that way because she was lost.

IMO, she is a victim here, and her son is as well, and she is being made to look like a lush.

And;

the bf with the inconsistent stories, is playing the possible cancer victim, while laying lt out there that she is a relapsed alcoholic.

Why would he even lay that out there?
I'm gonna guess and call it redirectioning the focus away from him.......
moo

If she bought some wine, and I do mean if, as we haven't seen her do that on video yet, she was going to visit someone she hadn't seen in several years according to RS. She may have bought it as a gift, especially if is was a nice wine, not a gallon jug of anne green springs or whatever.....

all moo........

rant over...

She fell down on video outside of the restaurant. The video hasn't been released yet.

But the video of her buying wine HAS been released. It's obvious a jug of wine that she purchased.

all of the inlets in Olympia are basically tidal flats, it could have just been tidal pools splashing. But that mud on her wind shield looks pretty intense. . . I dunno

Just throwing it out there..Do you think a motorcycle could spray that sand on her car? If he was chasing her around on the beach? :banghead:

doesn't the bf have an alibi, like he was at the destination. why in the world didn't she tell them where she was so they could come get her.

I am starting to wonder why she would have driven off the road onto the beach? To take a nap?

If this case is just simple - She got lost, drove around for hours, was disoriented for her own reasons (whether drinking, falling, cannot live without gps)..

The simple question we all want to know, where is she? I think we are a little sidetracked with "wine" and "fiance motives" and whatever else. However, t's good to keep an open mind and hear the facts.

If she left the vehicle: Apparently someone believes she knocked on their garage door around 1am? No answer. So what would you do in this situation? Hide out to try and get warm? Walk further to the next house?.. because I can only imagine if she is soaked, and the kid is soaked, the next step is hypothermia. It's going to be hard to walk. right?

And then if she decided to walk someplace - I would imagine she would walk in any direction (zigzag, left, right, circles, ovals).

It's hard to imagine they got swept out to sea. The kids shoes could have been taken off and swept out. The mom could do her best to carry him and keep him warm and wet cold shoes wouldn't be good in that situation. So if they are his shoes that were found I still think there is hope. I mean they could still be alive if they walked someplace.

7:55 p.m. – Lt. Mealey says there is video of Shantina stopping off at the Handy Pantry, where she made a purchase and left.

Then at 8:01 there she is a few miles over @ Safeway...

exactly, being engaged, for 2 and a half years according to him, the myspace puts them together for one year, and she is going to school.

She was already calling him her fiance on her blog in June 2008.

Here's a map I did last night...addresses are spot on.

Have you updated it with the safeway visit around 8:10?

Also, RS says he got a call from her at 6:45, do we know yet where she was at that time?

Thanks so much for the map. :)

ETA; it just doesn't look that difficult to get back to the freeway from the Handy mart at 7:50, and I hate to drive. She would have stayed on one road most of the way there, and turned onto only one other road to get to the freeway, and they both look like main roads.

How in the world could she have gotten so lost, and if she is that bad at it, why in the world didn't they go together. Man, this is wierd.

You're welcome!

I just read about the safeway visit...will go update it now.

The Tow truck had the front tires up, this would tell me it was front wheel drive. I forgot where I saw it but one newspapaer said the tires had spun out as if it were stuck. If the front tires were spinning it would kick up mud on the windshield. Here in the PNW people get stuck in the mud.

then that narrows it down that she got stuck before the tide came in.

I also notice the boy also wears glasses. I wonder how bad their eyesight is. If they were asleep then the glasses were probably off.

I've gotten stuck in the sand at the beach - not fun, let me tell you. If you stop moving on soft sand, it can be darn hard to regain momentum & get out.

the caller thinks they may be poachers. could they have run into some unsavory people there?

the call changes things for me. its a known place that locals come to get shellfish these people are raising.

On CBW's (stepsister) facebook on March 13 at 7:16PM, she asked why she has to be related to crazy people.

Was Robb already at the step-father's house then? Had they concluded by 7:15 that Shantina was missing? Here's what Robb says on his web site:

I stopped in Toldeo-Vader to make quick repair, when she called me at 6:45 from a phone. She asked me if I could grab her phone, because she had left. I let her know where I was at. She was in the Olympia area, but wasn’t quite sure of where, Azriel was hungry, so she pulled off. She made complaint of being in the traffic. She gave me the destination address and told me she would be there shortly.

I arrived in Castle Rock around 7:40, and found her Step Father’s house. We started to get worried about 9:00pm...

Considering Chelsie's FB comment, they must have already known that SOMETHING was up. Very curious...

Also, on this video, which doesn't show the wine purchase (but it's at the same store with the wine purchase), shows her kind of unsteady on her feet. Noticeably swaying at :39 to :44.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ccWD-mrYmM

Video of her buying Carlo Rossi white wine. As she left she ran over the curb. Obviously already drinking, if not drunk:

http://www.q13fox.com/news/kcpq-031410-missingmomandson,0,6651388.story

or an inexperienced driver, tired, didn't see the curb.
It has happened to me.

But yeah, seeing her buy the wine, it's not a good sign.
And she didn't buy any food there.

We don't know for sure that she was drunk, as you've said...

But it really pi$$es me off that it appears she was drinking while driving with her son in the vehicle. If an adult wants to risk their life by such stupid behavior, more power to them... but involving an innocent little boy... just really angers me. IF she was drinking. Grrrr!
