the photos look like there is only one tire stuck - what are thoughts on getting out of mud and sand if only one tire is stuck?
Here is a question:
Why did she not continuously honk the horn if she was in trouble? The homes are so close.
I thought I already posted this but I guess not. Does anyone know if this model of mini van has a button to release the back hatch on the dashboard and/or in the back of the van? And if so, would it work without the keys on? I used to have a car that had a trunk release button on the key remote.
Also I was trying to find the video surveillance footage that showed Az getting into the passenger rear of the van to see for sure if this was the sliding type doors or regular ones. I can't seem to find it.
He would not be the first loved on to believe the "I am in a different place now", "I can drink responsibly and socially", that is all behind me now nonsense.

The van is a 2005 Dodge Caravan, tan, Washington license plate 227 ZRS.
Unless the van had track differential (some can be turned off and on if you know about it) only one tire would spin if you were stuck in the mud.
The movie My Cousin Vinny talked about it. Older vehicles it was called Possi Traction. My car has a button to turn it on but unless you know what it means its useless.
I have often wondered if the police do not know far more than they are saying. LE often "play dumb" until they can offer proof, or make an arrest, etc. That's what I wondered too. A big red flag that she did not want to seek help.
Here is something else. In the video with RS he says at 6:45pm she tells him she was pulling off the road to get her son something to eat. Yet she does not go to the diner until 9pm. Orders but doesn't stick around to get it. To make her more memorable? Then the trip, fall scene.
So where was she between 6:45-9pm? Her only other phone call is at 10pm to grandfather but not to the people who were expecting her. Hmmm.
All the while she is just 45 minute drive away from her destination.
Oh yeah, the handy pantry stop was about 8pm so then we don't know where she was from 6:45 to 8pm and from 8 to 10pm she made which other stops.
BTW: who reported the Williams were an elderly couple? The boy still had not had anything to eat until they gave him pizza apparantly since he had obviously been hungry since 6 something. 4 hours and still no food. What if those people didn't have food to offer. How long were they at the home?
She is negligent for sure and for all we know just driving around killing time for some reason. I believe we are told at one place when she stopped for directions she was within eyesight of the interstate and went the other way!!
Red Flags. They need to treat this as a possible homicide and staged disappearance.

Did she meet with the EX during this period or another friend ???
Another thought:
Maybe she found the beach earlier in the day while she was driving around and decided to go back.
Could she have met the ex down there?
I also noticed something in this video that is curious - as she is leaving the store, she looks up and smiles as like she is smiling at someone near the van. Maybe it was her ex and they went down to the beach.
Where she smiles is at about 8 on the video:

Or maybe to get Az out above the water level since the trunk is higher.
Lack of defensive wounds would be one sign that it was accidental.
You are not going to drown somebody without there being signs of a major struggle. Drowning victims have taken people who were trying to rescue under with them in the sheer panic of it all.
