Little brown eyed baby boy. In my house you would have already had a bath and been tucked in your bed snug like a little buritto. I would have checked on you several times after you went to sleep while I read your bedtime story. I am getting ready for bed and thinking about you. The only thing that gives me any peace is that if you are not with us, you are safe in the arms of God. Rest well tonight Sky.

I was having similar thoughts for this sweet little child. . . . . lots of love and warm beams of light heading your way little "dude". Amazing that perfect strangers would have such sweet thoughts for a little one we have never met . . . and his own Mama doesn't do everything in her power to bring him home safe and sound? Boggles my brain and hurts me to the soul!

How is it that we (the WS family) can care so much for this little boy that we have never met and his mother who gave birth to him appears not to care at all?

I think we look in his sweet brown eyes and he melts our hearts because he reminds of of someone that we love (in my case, my own brown eyed son).

Julia looks in his eyes and it only reminds her of someone she apparently loathes and wants to destroy (SM).

The gap between Oct 23rd. and Nov 4th. should be looked at and I agree that the Scottsdale connection is something LE should investigate, if they haven't already. Why Scottsdale?

Did LE take her computer? I don't remember.

She had apparently requested, according to SM's atty to take the kids either to AZ or Ukraine, in lieu of child support. Her request was dismissed evidently But WHY Arizona??? There is a connection... we just don't know it. We know her mother and brother and possibly other family lives in Seattle area, so... was it Suga' Dada' in AZ?

I also think the 10/23-11/4 gap is interesting, especially since 10/23 is a date identified by LE that a neighbor last saw Sky. Then 11/4 was 3 days after mediation, and 1 day after she reneged on the mediated agreement. idk. juz thinkin' here. Hard to believe that someone would disappear their kid, then turn around and post about Justin Bieber...On the other hand, if one is mentally ill, it's a crap shoot I'd think...And unfortunately for her children, she is mentally ill. So sad for all concerned.

That said, she may be mentally ill, however, still not be a candidate for not-guilty by reason of insanity. I don't think that will fly, since she herself has fought tooth and nail to prove otherwise to all -AND not ONE person in her family has stepped forward to get her professional help, or to plea about her illness, and/or the return of Sky. She has trapped herself, me thinks. Oh goodness, how I feel for SM and baby girl. And FIRST and FOREMOST, Sky. Poor lil' Dude. Poor little sweetie pie What has he had to go thru for his two short years?

Am confident that SM had a wonderful visit with overnights with little MM this weekend. I hope that little girl begins to feel comfortable in her environment and with her Daddy to begin to tell what might have happened to her little brother the last she saw him.

I want to add to that that I am hopeful that he has been coached as to how to handle the conversations as they may arise... very, very delicate indeed. Both for the child AND the investigation.

We never did figure out where the "gas station" photo was taken, did we? I'll post it here again -- maybe this is something we could sleuth further. Maybe it could lead us to Sky. I recall posting something in an earlier thread about what I believed to be in the photo:

* I think those are sliding glass doors behind JB that haven't fully met back together (the darker strips are the rubber lining that keep the cold/hot air out and prevents the glass from slamming).

* I think the white horizontal line across the bottom left might be the edge and top of a curb -- a white line of paint indicating to be careful as you step up.

* The dark rectangular shape in the upper right I believe to be a gas pump or some other kind of fixture.

* Not sure what the round circular object below that is -- maybe a headlight or a shoe or a concrete island?

* JB appears to be in motion and handing something to someone behind a counter or filling out paperwork.

* Few places have sliding glass doors with a counter that close them (stores may have sliding glass doors but the counter is not usually that close). For this reason, I believe her to be at a gas station (not the Chevron), a check-cashing place, a car wash, or a convenience store like a 7-11.

Anyone else have new thoughts? This is a piece of the puzzle that I don't recall WS solving yet.

I don't remember where I read it but people that seemed to be familiar with the location commented that they suspect this was taken at Lowes if I'm not mistaken

BBM - no, she would not qualify for not guilty by reason of insanity because the definition of that is that you must not have known that what you were doing was wrong when you did it.

The fact that she has created an alibi, lied, plotted and all of those other things tells that she KNOWS whatever she did is wrong

I've looked through her "friends" list and there's no one obviously from Arizona, although some people don't list their location. I'm betting on a visit to a sugar daddy during the time gap in late October and wish we could see her log-on history on that website, not just the date of her last log-on. I also really want to read those messages she sent the potential dates!

Her child support has been stopped since the moment they put MM into foster care. . . . now that SM will have custody of MM - JB's money train has stopped.

I doubt highly that she could maintain paying rent for her apartment any longer and will have to move in with her brother or her Mom. (or someone else?)

Singing along with learning videos. Getting ready to go outside with me to take the dogs for a walk. Running and playing in the dirt. All the things a sweet little boy gets to do in the course of a regular day. I find it difficult not to have bitterness in my heart for this woman....a woman who had every perfect gift...and thoughtlessly threw it all away. I pray they find Sky today. It hurts me to think of him in the elements.

Regarding her FB, I recall several weeks ago, reading a msm report stating that her friends had made comments to police or media that her Profile had recently changed dramatically. Does anyone else remember this or could point me back to the article? I cannot now remember if the report said that posts were removed soon after Sky was reported missing or if was just the overall feel of the profile in the months leading up to the disappearance, but for some reason, I vaguely remember it was the former. I really want to read the article again to verify. Also, did anyone take screenshots in the early days? I wish I did!

Respectfully, he should be doing these things with his daddy. It's not as if he didn't have one caring parent who fought hard for him and the courts made the wrong choice. Police sources told KIRO 7's David Quinlan on Tuesday that investigators were able to scroll back through Biryukova's Facebook page and take screenshots of what it looked like before Metalwala disappeared. They've preserved her photos and status updates from that period.

One of Biryukova's Facebook friends told Quinlan her Facebook page changed after Metalwala disappeared.

Yes Cubby, he should. It is just easy for me to think of him that way in my mind. Being a Mom it is in my nature to want to nuture. No offense to SM meant at all. He deserves to be with him.

In my experience, in Washington State the minimum payment a parent is allowed to make is $25 per month, provided they have no source of an income. As I understand it . . . the premise is that children's needs continue despite a parent not having a viable income source. They potentially could pick up cans from the side of the road and turn it in for child support (although that would be a lot of cans @ a penny a piece).

I know that most of you will not like this but in my opinion, JB would be most benefited if she embraced her mental health issues and applied for SSI benefits to cover her medical and a monthly stipend to live on (ie: approx $630 per month). She could pursue mental health treatment, ensure she had some stability, if she ever wants to work towards gaining custody back of MM. I certainly hope her Atty is looking out for her mental health issues . . . I fear she is a high risk for suicide and we might not ever get any answers from JB. (not that I am real hopeful right now that she will speak up).

(Nobody beat me up please . . . . just saying this would be the most beneficial thing that she could do for herself). I do not want JB to have custody of MM, I want her to help bring Sky home to his Daddy, and I don't think the best interest of MM is to be with her Mother currently.

I think that will take awhile, but I am going to guess that Julia would be ordered to pay child support based on the current min. wage in Washington state. I know that is how it works in IL. They will give the non custodial parent a little time to find a job, but not indefinately, and then the courts will order child support based on min wage with a 40 hour work week.

Now that Julia is not caring for any minor children there is no reason she can't get a job. Though perhaps she will file for disability based on her mental illness, in which case, they will still take a portion of her disability for child support.

Sky Metalwala's mother knows more, says missing boy's father

SEATTLE -- The father of missing two-year-old Sky Metalwala said Monday he believes his son is alive and that the boy's mother, Julia Biryukova, knows more about his disappearance than she's told police so far.

"I'm believing he is alive, and my search for my son will continue until we find him," Solomon Metalwala said during an interview with KING 5's Joyce Taylor.

When asked if he believes someone is hiding Sky for Julia, Solomon said: "That's what I believe."

He said Sky's four-year-old sister, MM, has said nothing about what happened the morning Sky disappeared, and that the plan is to give her good care and not press her to talk about that day, to let her talk about that morning when she wants to.
