Thanks you guys! I'm still a little on the fence about it though.

Here's the thing that bothers me about the haircuts. It was obviously M's first haircut. . .her hair is long and curly down her back. We know Sky got his buzzcut before grandpa arrived. . .or sometime right around that time. Then we supposedly have the kids going back on June 15th. Idk but that's only 2.5 months later. . .would Sky need another cut by then?

One other thing. . . every last picture of Sky on June 15th he has his hood on. It might mean nothing. . .but it makes me go like this. . .:banghead:

I just don't trust JB. She's manipulative as all get out and I wouldn't put anything past her as far as her Flickr and manipulating pics and dates. We know she did it with other pics. I think that's why I'm having such a hard time with this. Gee, it sure would be nice it Grandma S would come forward and clear things up, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

It's obvious to me that not a single one of her associates and/or family members care enough about what happened to Sky to come forward with their stories.

Man, you put all of my thoughts into words!! I think Sky's hair is buzzed in the hoodie photos -- you can see a bit of it peeking out from under the hood in one of the pics. You know who I wish would talk? SO. She had massive loyalty toward those two kids....hopefully, more than toward JB. I hope she's snitching on JB right now because I think she knows A LOT. I'd be curious about when the last time she saw Sky was because I get the impression she saw the kids pretty frequently.

The hotel photos could really go either way. Now, I'm leaning more towards M having a bob pulled back in a ponytail (in addition to JB's favorite style of a mini-ponytail on top of the head). I could see her buzzing Sky's head 2.5 months later. My hair grows very fast and I have to get it cut every 2-3 months (it's a short cut and those tend to show hair growth more quickly). Either way, her manipulation is MADDENING!

Okay, I have reviewed the photos of M at the salon. I really think that her appointment was in June. The calendar on the wall did it for me. You can clearly see June on the calendar.

Look closely at her hair. . .is it already cut into a bob? I need help on this. . .it's hard to tell and I sooooooo want it to be so. What do you all think?

So, I dug a little with the username, and found this FB page: Whoever this is, is MAJORLY embroiled in this case, from an amateur investigator stand point. At the very least, he's done some research on the churches in JB's area, and the Ukrainian population there. He's got some decent maps.

Hambirg, You had me for a moment, but it looks like to me that her hair is long and pulled back. It looks messy like it is escaping a bit. It does not look like a bob to me here.

I wish I could say it looks like a bob...but it looks like longer hair that's pulled back, and the front hairs are sliding out.

FWIW...I have a short style hair cut, and I should go every 6 weeks to keep it in shape (neck hairs, etc., ewwww!). I usually wait until about 2 months, or holidays where pix will be taken.

Maybe someone can help me out. This timeline with pix on facebook is fascinating. When I clicked on a couple of the dates w/pix, there is a picture of a car and heading indicating Julia's car accident 8-18(?)-10. Isn't this the accident in the rental car?

I haven't read through everything yet (he's got A LOT of stuff posted, you're right). But, he seems to think that JB gave Sky away as part of the bitter custody battle, JB intended to run away with M (following a bus route she is familiar with while driving her brother's car), the car stalled (he says that make/model is famous for stalling), JB thought she ran out of gas even though it was actually that the car stalled, and SO demanded to know where Sky was when he wasn't in the car, thus setting off the firestorm.

I don't know if I buy that. Why weren't there suitcases in the car or other evidence of running away? Why leave your phone behind -- you can just pull the battery and toss it in a pond while on the road? Why didn't LE find a mechanical problem with the car?

He also doesn't think JB had very serious mental health issues (he thinks she had some but I, personally, think they were very serious) and that she's being painted in a bad light by the media. All that said, he has some excellent resources on his photos pages and gives food for thought. I'm just taking some of it with a grain of salt, myself.

I don't believe there is any evidence she was running away. I also don't believe that Sky was ever in the car to begin with. I believe she realized that father was going to get visitation rights and thus she would have to produce the child for visitation, and that's what lead to this whole "kidnapped from the car" scenario.

I agree with everything you have said - there IS a ton of info here. Some of his opinions and conclusions are a little left field IMHO (woman missing + Sky + bank robberies being linked), but the brainstorming and research he has done - lat's and longs, timelines, aerial photos, other photos, etc..are priceless. Hopefully, I can look at this more thoroughly tomorrow.

Didn't she ever have to produce the children for anything for a 6-month or so period? She was in the midst of court proceedings, wasn't she, did no one ever ask to look at the children personally and if not, how would anyone every know how many children are missing or dead in these cases...JMO

No, I don't believe she was ever required to produce these children for courts proceedings. The father hasn't seen them in close to a year. We are trying to figure what when was the last time somebody other than her family actually saw the little boy before he disappeared.

Who do we think was last to see Sky alive at this point? SJ? The grandfather? For now, I'm personally disregarding the neighbor's eyewitness account until I have more info on it to deem it credible (although I believe they reported in good faith).
