What I am finding really strange is that in all of these pictures:

Haircut Day

Which is also Park Day

and Costco Day

Why is Sky's new haircut always covered up and not a single picture of Haircut Day has a picture of Sky's new haircut?!?

Maybe because she could care less about Sky?

I just can't see her saying to the friend at Costco Hey, can you put Sky's hood on so I don't take a picture of his new hairdo...I just want MM's new do in the shot.

I wonder if he wiggled around during his haircut and the lines of his new buzz cut weren't perfectly aligned (like the carpet always is) and she just couldn't bear to look at it anymore.

From the looks of things, it seems like this is one of the last days that Sky was not missing.

Sky is very often wearing a hoodie in other photos like some of the car seat photos. I think it was a "thing" and not specific unto haircut day. I've wondered about it, too, and I've thought that it was either part of JB's illness (his head needed to be covered for some reason) or that Sky preferred his hoodie (most kids I know who are that young don't like keeping things on their heads, though). I think she was obsessed with M's cute bob and could have cared less about Sky's buzz cut, thus keeping the hoodie on in the photos. I do wonder if it was part of her illness in general.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was the case Princess. Nothing she has done is rationale in my opinion.

Makes me wonder why she would go through the trouble of changing the dates on the Flickr account and then later remove it?

Any ideas?

I have a few ideas:

1) her lawyer told her to make the page private

2) she realized people (WS?) were on to her about the fudging of the dates and she could no longer play her game

3) she realized that, even with the flurry of photo uploads after Sky went missing, people still didn't buy that she was a perfect and loving mom

4) people were writing nasty, nasty (ahem, well-deserved) comments on the flickr feed and it got to her because it grated up against her self-image of perfection

5) all of the above?

Oh no, I think I heard the attorney say MM was only 29 pounds when she was taken from Julia into protective custody. 29 pounds for a five year old? I can only imagine how much Sky weighed.

My younger brother was 25 pounds the day he started Kindergarten at 5 years old. He was a very small child. He ate all the time, but didn't gain weight. He has since made up for it.

ETA: My 2 y/o is tall and thin (32 pounds and 39.5 inches tall).

I have a 2 y/o son and for the longest period of time, my son wouldn't wear a hat. Now, if there is a hat on his shirt/jacket, he wants it on his head. He's really into hats right now. Even in his Christmas photos, he had to wear a hat.

Not making excuses for JB, but maybe Sky put the hat on himself?! It's a possibility.

Look through this slideshow. You'll see how many photos there are of Sky wearing a hoodie or a hat indoors (it wasn't just on haircut day). I really think it was a "thing" for JB and I wouldn't be surprised if it was part of her illness.

He may not have liked wearing the hoodie, but it was a regular request, he probably got used it.

The things that bothers me most about the haircut photo of M. is that it doesn't look her real hair. I don't remember other photos on Flickr with hair like that.

The texture and thickness are completely different than what is shown in her other photos and with the new bob haircut.

Could it be wig? That seems crazy at a hair salon?

I would like to extend credit to another poster who commented in the linked article below that the family law commissioner "who said this mentally ill mother who had such a low GAF score is the best parent is still making these ridiculous rulings every day in the king county superior court." Please read his comments below the body of the article. There's got to be something that can be done about this. It is SO disturbing that this person is still making decisions "in the best interest of the children".

That's awful. God speed to all of those fathers. Sky and his story is touching lives everyday!! This commissioner and his/her rulings need to be looked into post haste.

Search & Seek -- I know LE had done a 1-mile radius check around JB's apartment complex as well as around the site where she reported Sky missing. Have they also done a 1-mile radius check around the home where JB used to live with Solomon? How about around Solomon's new place of residence? I'm wracking my brain, here, trying to think of where Sky could be. Also, I was wondering if Sky had any special belongings like a blankie or stuffed animal and if that was found missing. Knowing that would be very psychologically telling, I think. Thank you!

Since the lawyer says she gained 7-8 pounds in 2 months period this does not appear to be a case of a child being naturally thin and small.
Missing Sky's poster lists him at 28 pounds, and Sky looks much smaller than her in all of the photos.

Her mom and even her friends testified in court to help her get the kids away from Solomon. I am so not surprised by the weight of little M; but I am absolutely sick to my stomach that we were correct in our assumptions. It makes our assumptions that Sky may have died from neglect all that more likely. :cry:

I have to say that June 15 is good; but I am still terribly sad. That still means that this beautiful little boy has possibly been missing for 7 months which breaks my heart in 2! He still hasn't been found!!

These people that supposedly love these children and supposedly love Julia should have come forward. If they love her, they should have had her committed. You cannot tell me that they did not realize that she needed help. OR, they should have done the decent thing, they should have called Solomon and told him that they were worried about those kids. They should have called CPS!

I blame the system in this case; and I also blame Julia's friends and family. It is unconscionable!! :banghead:

Someone on another forum spoke to the stylist from that day and she didn't remember JB being at the salon. Also Search and Seek posted that it has been confirmed that Sky, M and SJ were at the salon that day (no mention of JB). I wonder if SJ was the one taking photos, and there were some of Sky, but JB decided not to post them?

Something else that bothers me about the photos from that day are the ones at Costco. There are three plates and three cups on the table. M has pizza on her plate with sauce all over her face. The plate in front of the person behind the camera (who I assumed was JB) looks like it has roasted chicken remnants on it. Poor Sky is sitting at the table with no plate or food in front of him, and his face is clean. You would think if his mother was feeding him off her plate, she'd be sitting next to him? I guess it's possible SJ was feeding him, but something makes me think he sat there watching the rest of them eat.

What has also bothered me is that Sky is in the same outfit after months and months and that obviously is too short on him. I don't know why he is wearing a hoodie, but I have a feeling that Julia had some sick obsession we will never understand. M has new outfits and a new doo. Sky is in clothes too little and he is rarely if ever the focus. Little M doesa obviously love him. I too do not think that JB was at the salon. Poor babies!! Little M too. She was forced to grow up too quickly because her mommy couldn't be bothered to take care of her children.

All of this is sooooo heartbreaking to me, I can't bear the thought that Sky might have actually starved to death or died from neglect. Hell just ain't hot enough for Julia!
