When was this picture taken? See the wet spot on his shirt? I wonder if he was whisked shirtless to the sink to eat the rest of his meal and/or snack/fruit. That's a short buzz cut just like the one he had in the sink.

The wet spot on the shirt appears to be from the pool. He is in the hotel. That photo was taken when grandpa was visiting in April. The sink photo is not in the hotel and I think it was taken several months later. I think Sky was getting the same style haircut all the time. Just like he was wearing the same clothes, etc. I don't think JB liked change. You can't date his photos by the haircut.

I am not so sure that a wealthy man would not be interested in women with children...

That's why I said ones that actually want adult companionship. I don't think her alleged sugar daddy search went anywhere.

ok I'm a huge Law & Order SVU fan and watch it religiously every day at 5 pm after work. Ironically, the episode they had today was about a Bulgarian guy (mob) selling babies (newborns) and killing their moms.

One of the victims who survived didn't want to talk to LE nor testify against him in court because she was too afraid for her own life and her son's life.

It got me thinking......what if there is more going on with Julia? What if she needed money and borrowed from the wrong people and they took Sky as payback. What if she was threatened that they would kill her and Sky. Maybe that's why she's ok with Solomon getting custody of M because she knows she's safe.

Before anyone rolls their eyes...yes, I know this is TV but a lot of these episodes are based on true crime and well.......I still have hope this precious boy is alive.

I used to watch Law and Order SUV but I found most of the stories pretty much unbelievable and even if they are based on real life, way too many twists and turns are thrown in for no apparent reason. No, I don't believe JB sold the child, and, no I don't believe somebody was after her.

The stories are usually based on true crime.....of course most have happy endings and sadly that's not the case with the many we follow.

I do not find it far fetched that people get involved with shady people. Loan Sharks as an example. Sadly, many times it doesn't end well.

I think the last pictures of Sky are going to be the ones of him in the sink. I wish there was a clue as to when they were taken. The quality isn't all that good, so I wonder if they came off of her phone. LE must know when they were taken. I wish we did. Too bad watermelon isn't just seasonal anymore, otherwise we would know. His hair does look freshly cut though. . .and as far as we know his last haircut was June 15th.

Take a look and see if you can glean anything from them. . .

I have had the same impression in many photos, and also that he looks possibly drugged and lethargic... that reason one tweetpic, and others, like in some community room...in a gray striped hoody...in a carseat, in a pool, ...even sitting on the carousel...just a whole bunch of the pics. Most especially those at a bday party or some such thing, perhaps you all remember.

On the other hand, my impression of pictures of girl are that she usually smiling...

This picture quite frankly resembles a mug shot! He looks sad:-(

Just google his name and click on images and you will see so many where he just looks "there."


It's of course possible that she used sedated as a nanny. Maybe she took notes from CA exposure...

He has the look of a poorly attached child to me. A child who is not secure in the fact that his primary provider will always provide for him, will love him -- he looks vacant, sadly. And often concerned. Like you, I've wondered about him not smiling in many of the photos and I think it's because JB never bonded with him and he felt untethered.

I think Sky drooled a lot from teething -- he often had wet spots near his collar in photos. JMO.

I agree Hambirg. In these photos, Sky has lost his "baby" look. He is looking more like a little boy to me. I wish we knew where they were taken as well. It still blows my mind that she is making him sit in the sink to eat a piece of watermelon.

Hambirg -- I full-on agree that those photos are probably the last ones we have of our dear Sky. I'm going to stare at those photos for the next few days and see if anything comes to me. Thanks for highlighting them. I also agree that they were probably taken around June 15th.

That's right, I had forgotten that, thanks Jash. Let's see, IIRC these photos were not in the Flickr photos but were released the same time as the surveillance photos of her (I think) so I'm betting she didn't realize they would end up being shown to Solomon. Maybe she took them on her phone and hadn't "doctored" them up enough to put them on Flickr to prove that she was feeding the children. I dunno, it's hard thinking like a monster.

I agree, the sink photos are from her kitchen. As far as I know she hasn't posted the sink photos on-line, so they are probably not the proof of anything, she just took them. My guess is she was feeding the boy in the sink so he wouldn't make a mess in the perfectly clean apartment.

I suspect they were part of her ongoing "proof" that she fed the children. There are 3 different kinds of food displayed out on the counter in the first photo and I highly suspect that someone with JB's OCD symptoms wouldn't have kept cereal on the counter and formula out on the stovetop.

I also note that in the second photo, the plate of food is prominently displayed in the foreground and JB would have (I believe) had to lean down to take the shot from that angle, thus capturing the plate in the foreground. She could have taken the photo from a more reasonable angle like straight-on or from slightly above (at standing height), thus making Sky the true feature of the photo. Also, note the abundance of food in that photo in the background....and, once again, I highly doubt she left that food out for any real amount of time as it would have gathered dust -- her greatest fear. We know she kept her environment pretty devoid of objects that could gather dust.

In all, I think she took the photos as more "proof" but was unstable enough at that time to not realize that others would find her feeding of Sky in the sink abnormal -- or she thought they may not have noticed.

Photo 1) Trader Joe food displayed -formula and Organic High Fiber O's cereal + a Tupperware of watermelon. Pretty much at eye level... She designed that photo.

Photo 2) Directly eye level -she hunched to get just the right angle with a plate of food yes in the foreground, fruit bowl behind, bananas to the right, and then, most bizarre-like -two stacked boxes of cereal, one on top of the other, on the counter. One looks to be TJ Organic Morning Lite, and the other is Organic Granny's Apple Granola cereal.

If where the sink is is like in the photo someone posted of Veloce kitchen, then it sincerely is BIZARRE that two cereal boxes would be stacked on on top the other like that on the island -i.e. it's not as if they were in the corner somewhere against a wall, if you know what I mean...

Here is where I have a different, perhaps more generous towards JB take: We know that the sink would have been perfectly clean, she perhaps lived upstairs at the complex, hot outside...watermelon is surely messy, hot day...combine cooling off babe with messy watermelon and a little cool water.

My point is that there does not have to be some nefarious reason for feeding your kid a very wet and messy food in the sink, unless you look for it. So let's just say that him eating in he sink is within normal range, and rational to some extent. I would do the same thing -and I am not a child abuser, nor OCD...

But here's where [the photo] goes awry...leading against innocence. If her focus were on cooling and soothing and feeding her hot son without a mess, then the focus of the photo would not be background food.

She staged this photo, is my strong opinion.

I take everything back if I find out that she was in a photography class, and working on a food composition assignment. LOL. But if that's the case, then focus, lighting, subject, everything is off. If the focus was to take a picture of her son, it might have come out like one of these...

I suppose something like this is possible, but it is unlikely. In any case...

One of the most horrific world events of the last year was the Japanese earthquake and Tsunami. Since the time I was a little boy, tsunamis have always fascinated me, and I spent altogether too many hours watching videos of this one posted by survivors. There is something terrifying watching the might of the ocean gathering before sweeping away everything in its path.

This case is like that, except it is a tsunami of evidence. And all of it, every bit of information we have available, all points to one (and only one) person. Julia. So much so that even you, Julia's most devoted defender, has nothing left but fantasy TV scenarios to fall back on.

I don't mean that as a criticism. I am glad you are here asking these questions and struggling to raise some doubt. It shows how strong the case against Julia really is, and it allows me to hope that one day we might actually get justice.
