2-year-old Sky Metalwala was last seen around 9:00 am on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Sky's mother reported that her car ran out of gas in Bellevue, Washington at that time. She said she left Sky in the unlocked vehicle and walked with her daughter, who is 4, about a mile to a gas station. When she returned approximately 1 hour later, Sky was missing.
An extensive search of the area turned up no sign of Sky. He was last seen wearing, a grey hooded sweatshirt, black and aqua blue sweatpants, and white socks. The FBI has been called in to assist in the investigation.

His mother, Julia Biryukova, told police that her car ran out of gas while she was driving in Bellevue, so she and her daughter walked to a nearby station, only to find 2-year-old Sky was gone upon their return.​

Thanks for the link. Did you hear if the bones are believed child/toddler size? This search area is opposite of the I405 interstate where the mother abandoned her car west of the interstate.

ETA: Confirming remains are not a child.

I hope Sky's daddy is doing well. I wish he had the answers to Sky's location, but I hope he is loving Sky's sister as she grows in to adulthood. She should be around 17 years old now.

Thank you for the correction-- I misread 6 for age (as in 6 November missing date).

Sky's date of birth is Sept 2, 2009.

As summer is heating up, I realize that Sky would have been excited for school to end. I imagine that his sister has missed him all of these years. I still think about him and wish his case could be solved and justice met.
