Thanks for finding that! I skimmed over it and will go back and read in depth. That goes to what you and I were discussing the other day. I wish I could find an article regarding the Kingston Clan. IIRC, one of their many genetic issues predisposes pregnant women to preclampsia (sp). Couple that with the young age of the mother and lack of medical care, it's had disasterous results. Causing the death of many women in the Kingston Clan.

I agree with your thoughts on this, golfmom. And, to me cults like this do not do these things for religious purposes. They do these things as a result of twisted thinking in the NAME of religion.

I would imagine that LE is being very careful at this point not to "technically" violate any of the mens rights. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

So to solve the problem of genetic defects in a close community, they are considering breeding with another close community with genetic defects. As fast as their generations fly by with girls just hitting puberty before being bred, I'm wondering if they're inviting a genetic atomic bomb.

Yours are wise words Salem. I think all of us posting on this thread share a common goal. To see these children be given the safety that is everyones birthright no matter what country or religion they happen to be born into. I think we are unified in that one thought. Our ideas on how this should happen vary. But that is ok. After all, unity is different than complete agreement.

I am thinking with what is going on in Texas that enough information will be given to substantiate the probable cause warrants to enter the other facilities in other states. They need proof these atrocitites are taking place and not speculation. If it had not been for the girl calling, they would still be in a stand-off in Texas, too.

Your story is dated April 7 and is from a local TV reporter. The one I cited is dated TODAY and is from AP and quotes the source. I believe mine over yours!

You're right, they do need probably cause, but I think they've had probable cause in the past and haven't done anything because of the cost and the resources necessary. I just think if they got lots of email from citizens throughout the US they might be more inclined to do something, or at least look more closely at it.
