Exactly. He stopped cooperating for months...but he want us to believe that he wanted to find out what happened to his "heart". This is one of the reasons that I think Ron failed part, or all of the questions on the LDT. He knew after that, that he would need a lawyer...a Criminal Defense lawyer.

I don't blame Joe for getting a lawyer, but Is he represented by a criminal defense attorney also? If I was being investigated by this particular LE, I'd lawyer up too. Ron lawyering up was a huge red flag, IMO, & not just because he hired a lawyer, but because 17 year old Misty, who was living with them, was left defenseless & unrepresented. That's when I realized that the Cummings were up to something.

It was no game. Within hours, she’d raced back to Gainesville to pick up Misty’s mother and hightailed it back to the Sheriff’s Department, where she and Timmy joined the long line of family members for interviews, took polygraphs, and watched Ronald and Misty hand over the clothes they were wearing to police. “Ronald was wearing his company jumpsuit, like a blue work outfit that zipped up the front, and they both went in back and took off everything, including their underwear.”~ end snip

...and you know what just occurred to me?? Joe must have went to see Hank SR on Sunday....not Monday when Chelsea raced back to pick up Lisa. Hmm...so where was Joe at that point? Did he go along for the ride or no? In the last paragraph of her account to Art Harris, she states her and Timmy joined the long list of family giving statements to police.....Joe states he was with Lisa and Misty hanging fliers that Monday Morning...Lisa was brought back by Chelsea from Gainesville. So I wonder when Joe was interviewed and how he met back up with Misty. Very strange.

Both Jo and Misty stated Lisa and Jo were together when they picked up Misty from the police station Tuesday...
Misty stated in her LVA she was told by LE not to go back down there..wherever down there is.. Jo stated Misty was told not to go back down on that road so they stayed up at the store and posted flyers..
Also the morning Chelsey is speaking of when she says she went to get Lisa was Tuesday not Monday.. Jo stated in that interview with his attorney he went to the hospital to see his uncle that morning then he and Lisa picked up Misty from the police station where she was being questioned......JMO

I understand it to mean Chelsea took Lisa to the hospital on Monday evening, Lisa spent the night, Haleigh went missing sometime during that time so Tuesday morning Chelsea went to the hospital to pick Lisa up and Joe went with her like he said in the FCN video.

Elle, BBM: Didn't you mean that Joe hung fliers with Lisa and Misty on Tuesday morning since Haleigh disappeared either Monday evening or Tuesday morning? That would also make it Tuesday morning that Chelsea raced back to pick up Lisa, right? That would help the situation of Joe visiting Hank on Monday. Just noticed, BTW, how are you?

doob....where did you get the information that Joe went to stay at Hank and Lisa's on this visit? Chelsea stated that Joe came to stay with her and Timmy after Rc's gun was stolen, she also said that previous to that he was at Tommy and Lyndsy's. Thanks!

She stated it on NG--she said he went to Hank & Lisa's and then Hank had his accident and had to be airlifted--and then NG cut her off. I think it might be on the night she called in when Granny was there--everyone was trying to talk over each other, but if you listen to what Chelsea says--it's there.

No.. As I understood it from the two links you posted of the interview with Jo at his attorney's office..
Jo claims he went to the hospital on Tuesday morning to see his uncle.. He and Lisa left and then picked up Misty at the police station.

listening again....video 1 The reporter asked if Joe saw Haleigh and lawyer responded that he that he did see Haleigh when he was visiting his cousins but he never interacted with Haleigh or developed any kind of relationship with her.

Lawyer states: Joseph, I believe once , maybe twice saw her...but...to the best of m y knowledge never interacted with her on a personal level where they created a ...some type of a interaction where he became a friend of any degree.

conversation switches to the gun....and the fight and the lawyer refuses to comment because it is directly related to police investigation.

Video 2....this is where I got the impression he saw her.

Reporter: you mentioned that he was placing fliers...I did not know that. We were told by the Croslin family that he left town the same day that she went missing. Is that not true? Was he still in town at that point?

Lawyer: Joseph had traveled to Florida with a friend, long before the incident with Haleigh they had a scheduled day that they were going to return to Tenn. So that was just his scheduled time to leave.

Reporter: When did he place the fliers though?

Lawyer: It was the morning after ...when he left the hospital that he went out and put some fliers up.

Reporter : okay so that would have been within the first couple of days that Haleigh was missing, he was in town that's what your saying?

Lawyer: I can only assume so because I wasn't there.

Reporter: did he see Haleigh on February 9th or 10th..in that time frame of..

Lawyer: he saw her at some point while he was there but because this wasn't the focus of his visit, this was an ancillary personality...he was visiting with his cousins...umm..this was just one of probably several children...to the best of my knowledge...ya know this wasn't a focus of his attention of when he saw her and what happened when he saw her....he just knows that at some point he saw her.

Bold by me....so the morning after would have been Tuesday that he put the fliers up and Tuesday that he went to the hospital to visit his uncle in Gainesville? Must have been a short visit. :waitasec: since they were rushing back to get questioned. Something doesn't seem right with all of that. JMO Gainesville is an hour and thirty minutes away...3 hours round trip...they crammed a visit in on that morning??

I am more confused about Joe and this hospital visit. It doesn't make sense that he would go visit Hank SR on Tuesday morning in the middle of a crisis, but it sounds like that is what his lawyer is stating. Am I losing my mind?

I have always said that there was no way Tommy would put Haleigh's body in the back of his pick up truck out in the open like that. Someone might easily see....that is why they needed the van.

CHELSEA CROSLIN: I told them that Joe, when he was staying in Satsuma with us -- I lived in Crescent City, a little bit farther, but it`s all in the same area. He stayed at Tommy`s house for a few days until him and Ronald had had that falling out regarding the gun that he had stolen that was recovered. From there, he went and stayed at Lisa and Hank`s house. There was a car accident and Hank was airlifted off to Gainesville. I`m talking about Hank, senior.
