In the tapes that were released today of Misty and Hank Sr. Misty mentions a black guy...she says something along the lines of Ronald and that black guy...he had said if he had the money he could get Haleigh. Not word for word, I got a phone call while listening, but do recall clearly Misty mentioned a black guy Ron knows and money.

When Charles Jones was on Levi's show he said Misty told him this same story about a black man RC was speaking to at a gas station.

:banghead: Something is fishy here...I was listening to the audio of Misty's jail visit with her dad before the river search and she tells Hank Sr. at that visit that she is not sure if Joe had anything to do with Haleigh. So, if that is the case, then why would she write a letter to Chelsea saying that Joe did this and that? I just don't get it. I wonder if that letter Chelsea claims she didn't give to LE, that she gave it to LP instead was written by Misty. First off why did she give it to LP? Why keep it from LE? I just don't know what to believe. :banghead:

BBM Srsly I DO NOT know how LE can even read what Misty writes! After a sentence or two I cannot continue! I guess they are better at figuring out the words that are spelled incorrectly than I am! They almost need a 1st or 2nd grade teacher to break MC's code! They should hire a stenographer for Misty cause even if she ever reveals the truth... it may be soo jumbled that the world may never know!!!

IMO this "gun" must have major significance in this case! JO stole it but there was never a fight over a gun per Ron??? WTH? It was never "stolen" by anyone only hidden, by whom and why?! Perhaps it was strategically placed to prevent it from being found when LE showed up looking for Haleigh... Why did Ron feel the need to clean it ? If it had been stolen he could prove it to some degree if someone else's print were on it...Who's prints was he trying to get rid of/conceal ? Does LE have this gun now?

I wish somebody would transcribe the Ron and Cobra tape. I can't understand a word they are saying. I take that back. I did hear Ron saying he found the gun, and how anybody could have put it in the culvert. Then, did he say he painted the gun? I have a serious sinus infection, and my ears are stopped up. It certainly seems that Ron made sure no one was excluded from putting the gun in the ditch. (just in case one had an airtight alibi, there were others to blame it on)

In the MySpace image below, notice that what I see as a hose coming from below his hand is not only laterally curved (which no clips are), it runs much more than one inch to an infinite distance and completely off the picture!

not way O/T uzi's are used by gangs for drive by shootings. With a really large clip ( not available to the gen. population) one can fire up to 900 rounds in one min!! That can take down a crowd of people!

I think there is a transcript over on the thread regarding the Ron/Cobra tapes. I do not recall if it a full transcript or partial, but I know that at least some of that has been transcribed.

"He has no knowledge of what happened to the child and he's heartbroken too," said Shawn Sirgo, Overstreet's attorney.

The only other person besides the Croslin/Cummings speaking out against cousin Joe is Grandma Flo. However, after listening to his tape of a phone call between Misty and Gma Flo on February 12,2010, I don't think Gma Flo can be considered "credible."

At the beginning of the call, Gma Flo tells Misty that she has an appointment with her psychiatrist later today. (I only mention this because Gma Flo does not seem like the type who would go.)

IMO, this call makes Gma Flo's credibility questionable and anything she says speculation/rumors. Gma Flo brings up the Tommy and Joe killing Haleigh two months before she went on National TV and told us Tommy confessed to her that Joe killed Haleigh. We know that Gma Flo gave Joe's name, not Tommy.

But Gma Flo in her own words is talking about getting info from people on computers. I can't make out the word between "private" and "investigator" but she states they are good on computers and they are going to get them on the computer.

Earlier in the audio, Gma Flo told Misty that they would be down there when she went to trial. They would have to sleep in their car but they would be there. On TV Gma Flo mentioned that she could not talk to Misty or Tommy because she did not have money for minutes. Obviously, when Gma Flo talks about having PI"s, she is not paying anyone.

IMO, Gma Flo has been repeating speculation, gossip and hearsay so we have no idea if anything she says is her own personal knowledge, something she was told directly by someone involved like Misty, Tommy, or Joe, or something she read/heard from computer sites. I don't think Gma Flo herself could separate what she knows from where she got the information.

IMO, I feel that anything Gma Flo says about Joe should be taken with a huge grain of salt unless we have proof that she witnessed it herself.

IMO, as Gma Flo jumped on the Joe killed Haleigh bandwagon two months before the media reported that Misty/Tommy said Joe did it, I believe Joe was always Plan B if Plan A - Haleigh abducted failed.
