I have been impressed with BlueCrab's posts while reading this old stuff recently, but this is the first time I realized he was saying he believed Burke did it with Doug Stine. This is an interesting perspective when trying to decide if PR wrote the note or if BR did. Pondering DS in the mix that night changes things.

I really wish BlueCrab was still around to tell us what he knew. He seemed to be an insider to everything.

There was no evidence of the scenario you are suggesting. Her arms were not extended over her head when she was found, but at about a 90 degree angle, contracted. The autopsy photographs show the position. If she had been hung up by her hands, there would be many signs of this and the ME would have seen them and discussed it.

The pics I saw had her arms up in a touchdown signal position. Slipknot's are just like timber hitches. Once you take tension off, they loosen again. It would also make sense if she were poked with the track while hanging. Don't know how long she could have been up. Maybe she was taken down before her heart stopped pumping.

Here - scroll down to the 6th post and you can see how her arms were set. You are possibly thinking of the NE drawings, which were not based on the autopsy photographs.

You would need a crime scene photo. The reenactment in PMPT showed her being carried up the stairs by JR with his arms around her waist, and her arms straight up. No one but JR knows exactly how she was found in basement. Of course ME is going to move her arms to examine her. I assume Schiller had correct info when he wrote the screenplay.

In those photos her arms are as they were when she was brought in. You can see the bags on her hands. But I guess you aren't paying attention to reality, so OK.
