I don't think that she will be teaching any domestic violence workshops any time in the near future or thereafter. She destroyed her own credibility by refering to JA as a domestic violence victim when Travis was the real domestic violence victim, seeing that he ended up dead.
I am so completely over NG. I can't stand her, she almost got me last night with the scroll about live testimony, but I had her muted so I never had to listen to her drivel. Who the hell cares about Jodi's high school friend? What insight do they ever have?
She is asking for personal privacy. "Don't show up at my house." "Don't bother my family, etc." Her statement has nothing to do with her coming into court to view the rest of the trial. I'm sure she asked the judge and she was told she is free to do whatever she pleases. She is not a threat, to anyone. She may make Jodi uncomfortable but that is Jodi's problem. lol
Especially since ALV made the comment about Martinez 'coming at her like that' - that comment sounded similar to what Jodi said about his style of questioning. He's passionate and imo has more than a right to be. Just look at the crime scene photos. That's reason enough for his anger.

I knew that 'someone' swiped Gramps' gun, but I hadn't realized that it was earlier on the same day that JA and TA exchanged their very first electronic communication regarding his imminent Cancun trip; i.e., May 28, 2008.
I remember that JA says that she was the last person to be at Gramps' house before the burglary occurred. Hmm...
Also the last person to be at TA's house before the ninjas killed him. Hmm again...
And the 'expert' witnesses base their evaluations on the defendant's 'good word'. :notgood:
Negative response, you think? Maybe her statement that Snow White was a battered woman turned people off. Or how her paid testimony is describing Jodi to a T and not Travis. Or maybe they don't want to watch paint dry. ALV could put an insomnia act to sleep.
Sorry...I was being facetious.
I noticed she aged a lot. just think about 5 years in jail having a fun time. cheeks was round ,well she looked healthy.case started the public is watching her lie and trying to decieve the world and its public she slaughtered TA in his home and she is bold and brave to say its selfdefense. .in court she came face to face with her own lies she is turning into a very grim wicked looking person ,like her evil she tried to hide on the inside is showing on her face now.Watching opening statement now....
JA looks like she's aged 48 years since the first day of this trial. Yowzer.
DH and I were talking about renting a movie this weekend - Lincoln or Les Miserables - but I think I'll try to find a DVD of Disney's Snow White to refresh my recollection of the fairy tale film.opcorn:
:hug:It is heartbreaking, isn't it?..especially in knowing that those who love him most are there hearing these horrific and devastating details of his very last moments here on this earth!..they know him best and while hearing these events described like Travis desperately attempting to protect himself, they know him, they can in their minds eye replay those scenes in their minds seeing such additional, traumatizing details of what and how Travis' reactive faces of fear, terror, and ultimate acknowledging that this battle he could not and would not survive.. those details we don't have in our minds due to our being here on the outside, having not known this victim in life...
IMO its exactly this that has me feeling such overwhelming sympathy, compassion, and the very real desire to some how offer them comfort from this pain..

Where can JMs opening statement be viewed?
Hello all,
I'm a newbie and am enjoying these discussions. Can someone tell me how to follow my previous posts to see if there were any responses? I don't want to ignore any replies, but at this point I only see them if I just happen to run across them.
