I know this probably has been mentioned a lot...but one of the things that really stuck with me from what I saw yesterday was AL's remark about how difficult it must be for JA...all the media attention...the shame she feels now that everyone has seen her up close and personal. Why oh why then did Jodi decide to go on shows that were seen from coast-to-coast? Doesn't sound like she felt much shame to me.

Oh yes, cry me a river. The utter chutzpah of this woman is galling. Are you flipping kidding me? How can you compare the shame she brought upon herself by her choices to the obliteration of another person she brought upon him?

Anybody? What is the actual date when JA left Mesa in April 2008. Not the fake date when she pulled up in her U-Haul and manipulated Travis & he let her stay a few more days, but the actual date she drove out of the state of Arizona?

That's what I mean...Travis never did this...but like a true sociopath, jodi gave us a hint with this story. Not to mentiontion...its virtually impossible to shatter a Cd by just throwing it....if that had even remotely happened. CSI would have found evidence.

I'm just saying that there is something up with the computer (jodis or Travis)...or an external hard drive ...or a cd-rom....or a zip drive. Jodi alluded to it. There's something there. And its BAD for HER case! Moo.

CDs don't shatter easily. We have used them as frisbees for hours. If you bend one it will shatter but it takes a lot of force and you are risking injury because when they break..shrapnel flies everywhere.

Psychopaths have a habit of dropping twisted hints as a way to demonstrate to themselves how superior they are to the rest of us dummies.

After watching ALV testify I now know who coached JA in her testifying demeanor because she is using the same psychological ploys as JA did, evasive, pretense of not understanding, disrespect for the court, minutia for details and smirking at the jury.

That is my greatest fear and I won't even allow myself to entertain that thought. We witnessed justice get a kick in the gut before. I don't know that I ever want to feel that way again. But sometimes, the bad guys win, no matter how hard the true and good fight for what's right.
Tricks and lies and cunning work from time to time....

I want to see her held fully and appropriately accountable for what she did.
I don't want the tricks to work.
Please don't underestimate her. Now or ever.

I'm working on a project for WS, but took a break outside. There was a flock of birds flying over our field in an almost perfect "V". I say "almost", because out of the hundreds of birds in formation, there were six or seven flapping their little hearts out, but they just couldn't keep up.
As I watched, the flock slowed down, and ended in in almost a straight line rather than the "V" they once were. One by one, they opened a spot for the stragglers, formed a "V" once again, and flew off.

It reminded me of WS. Of how we share information, catch some of the stragglers up to speed, encourage the ones that are loosing faith, fit everyone into our group, and move on together.
This probably sounds corny, but it's what I thought of when I watched the birds with my grateful heart for WS.

ot..my very first post here was thanking the "flock" for being there for me (I was a lurker for years and hid under the covers, reading WS, from a now convicted (but free ...) abusers. The flock didn't even know I was there....but they waited anyway....

Newbies...please explore other areas of this site...its an incredible place.
With all the new folks...maybe we could find Dylan or Sidney or Bob....or the other thousands of missing people...how about justice for Jessica? Or Nicole? Or the thousands of victims waiting for somebody to find their killers...? Including our own members family and friends.

Who will still be here after this trial is over?

Bundy was not that brilliant, his IQ was 124. Genius or Mensa level is 160 I believe. Hers is lower than his I have no doubt. I am not saying that because I have a strong dislike of her - in fact I thought she was quite attractive in her prime, and think she can sing like an angel, and I freely admit that. But she is around average intelligence in my guestimation. I think it is easy to over estimate the IQ of psychopaths, mainly because they have an abnormal fear response - meaning they take many more risks and in so doing, are able to succeed where others would never believe that they themselves could.
I truly think that if any of us were without conscience, guilt, fear and empathy, we could plot and carry out a much better crime and leave a lot less people laughing to themselves saying "WTH was she thinking, that was so stupid!"

JA lacks any understanding of plausible cause and effect.
Her lack of emotional IQ is a whole other issue.

I'm really puzzled by this. Did she not read the above passages?

I did notice that LV said on the stand that she got summaries of "collateral" interviews. Which makes me wonder about how the content is decided and by whom. She didn't even get the raw data.

The information she was shown came from the DT. What bugs me is she had access to Travis' journals. Since he is dead and cannot testify to there authenticity, this seems unfair in the most legal sense of the word.

Exactly! The entire problem with her journal, in my opinion, is there is no way of knowing when the entries were made. Obviously this one is blatantly false, so one has to wonder what other ones are, or if they were totally written after the fact. At least what is found on a computer is "date stamped" vs. this hand-written journal, for example.

Thanks for that! Bundy (124) was not that bright. Also, cunning and IQ are 2 different things. Lack of fear definitely helps.

JA spent her energies on a fantasy world. If she were really brilliant, she would be a CEO.
