Did her attorneys assist her in adding information in those journals, after the fact Perhaps ?
Perhaps
In many jail visits from her attorneys. There are no cameras on them so its plausible. (Contemporaneous ) lol
It just seems they have visited her, guided her thru the journals , replace with a new journal to add all this garbage.I just can't wrap my head around the fact that this was done before she was arrested. There's just to much information in those journals that seem to have been added during the last four plus years. She's been incarcerated? Moo
Recently an entry she made " my friend is dead" and I don't know how he died.

I'm not so sure even the defense team would go that far, Katie. Not that I wouldn't put it past them if they thought they could get away with it.

Jodi's journals were confiscated as part of the search warrant and, imo, went from LE to the State. The state had access to them long before Jodi or her defense team did, so I'm sure they knew exactly what was in them.

IIRC, there was a dispute when Jodi was on the stand about particular pages having extra notations on the margins that weren't there previously. Juan brought that up, and then things were discussed at sidebar. Not sure how they left it though.

For most of their years together, they never performed as a band (as in giving concerts). They were great studio musicians who got together to make great music, IMO. :)

I met someone who mastered one of their albums and he said the experience was so tedious it drove him to drink!
Having said that, I like the lyrical comparisons people are drawing to this trial. Lets not forget the song "Only A Fool Would Say That"...
I heard it was you
Talkin' 'bout a world
Where all is free
It just couldn't be
And only a fool would say that

And...

Unhand that gun begone
There's no one to fire upon
If he's holding it high
He's telling a lie

Oh, and...

Anybody on the street
Has murder in his eyes
You feel no pain
And you're younger
Than you realize

Oh, Sydni, you have me laughing in sympathy. I have diagnosed myself with Trial Watchers Obsession Not Otherwise Specified. I know I have developed a mental problem over this trial because I have become secretive about my trial watching. Not one live person knows the extent of my problem- I am hiding it. If they knew that this trial is how I spend literally every spare moment...if they knew that I am skipping dental appointments and telling people I am sick on court days...

<respectfully snipped>

So that's the reason that I can't sleep lately, my :butthead: is sore from sitting (hemorrhoids acting up :blushing:), struggle to get basic chores done, didn't get my allergy shot this week like I should have, don't mind that it's still cold outside even though it's April, etc. I couldn't quite put my finger on what the ailment could be, but now I know :D

BBM A thank you was insufficient,Wasn't Me. Great post.

I too have always believed that the reason we hear Travis saying the things he does is that he has been given a framework within which to operate. That is, Jodi made it clear to him what sort of things to say to "turn her on," and he is parroting them. You can tell by the robotic quality of his voice as he constructs "his" fantasies with her. I never believed that nonsense about her simply "going along with him." You're quite right that it had to be the other way around.

Now, I'm not saying the guy was an angel. You never know what people will or won't say when engaging in sexy talk. But there's no way you're going to convince me that this particular guy would have opened up a can of filthy sex talk with some woman unless he knew she wanted to hear what he was saying. The sex tape always stunk to high heaven to me. He did not know she was recording him. She set him up deliberately, and that included all sorts of coaching -- "Ooh, I like it when you talk about tying me up and forcing me," that kind of thing. I'm convinced.
:cow:
I think she revealed the sex tape to him and that's what prompted the string of messages from Travis. It was her last card, and IMO, she showed it to make him aware that SHE had control. I don't doubt that she was major-league pi$$ed off about not going to Cancun. I'm sure she was raging. She planned retribution...plain and simple, IMO. Then when Travis doesn't do what she wants, he pays the ultimate price.

We know JM interviewed Samuels before the trial because JM played the recording so could he not have done the same with ALV?

HE DID. And from what I understand, ALV initially told Juan that Jodi said that Travis was looking at lil boys pictures ON HIS COMPUTER. Now, in direct, she said to JW that was a mistake on her part. So that will be an interesting exchange and I look forward to it.

Yes, since January I have been highly addicted as well. To the point where if i'm not here -WS, I feel lost.

I have gone for a couple of hikes, watching Spring blossom but still live and breathe this trial and justice for Travis.

However, since Juror #5 has been let go, I feel the dynamics of this trial have changed and the rhythm has changed to a different.

I can't explain it yet, just a weird vibe i'm getting.

Anyone else feel this way?

I've been suffering from a Vitamin Juan deficiency, and Thursday's dose wasn't nearly large enough.

I feel it too. There's a tenseness now. More than ever, people are talking about it, aware of it. Everyone is edgy.

She said something strange during the police interrogation--I can't remember what it is exactly--but it led me to think that maybe she had taken the afternoon nude pictures with her camera, and then put that sim card into his camera.

Is such a thing possible?

But, I can't for the life of me figure out why she would do that.

IMO
She was still insisting she wasn't at the house June4. Not 100% but think she was asking wasn't it possible the nudes of her could've come from an earlier time & gotten somehow switched to his camera's card when ......something.

It made think she was confusing camera cards with thumb drives. Speaking of, I hope LE got a look at her flash drives as well
(At the time it reminded me of CA's confusing simm card malarky)

Tomorrow being Monday right lol? I'm inclined to agree. I think he'll focus on discrediting the abuse claim and reminding the jury that ALV's subjective opinion has never been substantiated with objective proof. It might have been effective for him to have said, your honor I have nothing more for this witness right after her eye roll to the jury followed by the 'Are you angry with me Mr Martinez' comment then a proud smirk to her buddies in the gallery. JW can only re-direct on what's brought up in cross examination. NEXT lol.

My recollection of the legal process in a self-defense case is that in AZ once self defense is asserted, burden then shifts to Prosecution to prove it WAS NOT self defense. With only JA's testimony and ALV's opinion based on b.s., JM has to completely discredit ALV. JA discredited herself.

Thank you kindly for the clarification. Your right I wouldn't put nothing past the duhfense

Does the public have access to Prosecution Rebuttal witness list? Have only heard of:
1. Walmart rep
2. Tesoro rep
3. Dr. DeMartes - State Psychologist
4. State Computer Forensics expert

If not available, does anyone know who else is on list?

I think you might be right. Certainly the tape played a much bigger role than she admitted, because it was not consensual in my opinion -- or if it was, she had lied to him about destroying it, etcetera. I think she had always intended to use it as a weapon to drive off any potential love interests. Once she knew it was really over, at least in her mind (and let's face it, we're talking about quite a bit of convincing for Jodiland), I agree that she intended to make him pay for what she perceived was "infidelity" and "betrayal." Naturally, it would have taken an actual relationship for that logic to pertain, but logic isn't useful in this case.

I think of their "relationship" in business terms -- if a contract, it would be invalid, as there was clearly no "meeting of the minds" regarding the basic terms of the "relationship" as Jodi envisioned it.

I had to think about it, and I picked Aladin, only for the magic lamp and the three wishes.

In the ALV video I watched, she asked people about who they wanted to be when they were 4 5 or 6. I can remember wanting to be Annie Oakley. Even asked Santa for cowgirl boots and a cap gun.

This comin' from a Connecticut Yankee!

I wanted to be an opera singer. I can't even sing...still trying to figure out where the heck that idea came from. :blushing:

I don't recall minimizing or ridiculing her work. You may read my earlier posts if you have doubts. I have made my own feelings about the seriousness of the field abundantly clear. My criticisms are leveled at her testimony in this particular instance.

:cow:

These stats reveal what we already know -- that women suffer much more often from domestic violence -- but also that violence against men is certainly not rare.

On average, more than three women and one man are murdered by their intimate partners in this country every day. In 2000, 1,247 women were killed by an intimate partner. The same year, 440 men were killed by an intimate partner. Intimate partner homicides accounted for 30% of the murders of women and 5% percent of the murders of men.
(Bureau of Justice Statistics Crime Data Brief, Intimate Partner Violence, 1993-2001, February 2003. Bureau of Justice Statistics, Intimate Partner Violence in the U.S. 1993-2004, 2006.)

I doubt her lawyers helped her but I'd be willing to bet her mitigation specialist back in the day did. Guess who that was?? ALV!

Just for clarification are you saying the journals that were taken at the time of her arrest as evidence. JA and her attorney's were tampering with while she was in jail?

No, not after her arrest, as far as I know.

But Jodi wrote LIES in her journal after the murder. She wrote things that she hoped would help her if LE read her journals. Things like [paraphrasing]:

" I cannot believe my good friend is dead. I wonder how he was killed."
:liar:

So if she went to the trouble to write those lies in there, how do we know she didn't then add some of the other earlier entries in there as well ?
