I don't necessarily doubt this, but wouldn't it benefit the Defense to aver that TA liked it 'kinky rough' and show us pages of JA's diaries fabricated after the fact to 'prove' it?
Good point. Especially since the DT all ready loves representing Travis as a perv who difiled the virgin Jodi.

BBM=Bold By Me. Used to highlight something and add your comments too. For example, I just did it to your request for a clue...
I'm starting to get a hang of the abbreviations too, but I still haven't figured out ETA. I got ITA, but ETA has me stumped!

I hope Katie see this...she might know who these women were....

I posted a link up thread. I believe that one of the women is ALV partner Gail Billings-Beck. They share a professional address in Long Beach. Not sure if they are also domestic partners. Check the photo at this link and then take a peep at the women in the trial video from the end of the day on Thursday. I'm convinced it's the same person:

Does anyone know if this is the DT's last witness?

Sweet baby Jesus it better be. I can stand NO MORE! After watching JM's cross of ALV, for the 3rd time...yes I am a glutton for punishment, I was so pissed off I couldn't see straight.
The DT has turned this into a circus side show (with Judge Stephen's help). Oh how funny it is to try and mock the prosecutor :furious: It's disgusting.

This is about a young man who had a great future ahead of him...until some jealous, petty, psycho 🤬🤬🤬 stalked him, made his life hell and then slaughtered him.
Nurmi & Co. better laugh it up while they can because YOUR client will never walk, and there will be a hell of a lot more laughter when she receives the DP. I hope EVERY so-called expert defending this sub-human will be lucky to find a job at McDonalds when it's all said and done. Including that non-professional Mitigation Specialist......I mean seriously it's like a damn 6th grade classroom in there :furious:

ETA: Sorry for the rant but screw you Jodi Arias. Selfish b**ch!

On a good note we are home from the hospital :seeya:

I feel you all! I feel like I plan my life around court lunch breaks! Post office, grocery store, walking the dog... :blushing:

"I'll come help you with the laundry soon. I have one more hour of court left."

Phrase often heard in my house ^^ :floorlaugh:

Washers take time to fill up, she was fleeing the scene. Even if she stuck around waiing for the washer to fill up and the cycle to start to make sure she didn't hear a camera clunking ariund inside (:/), the idea is that it was tangled up in clothing. It wouldn't necessarily make any noise until it shook free or the spin cycle started. The woman could have put the laundry in, turned on the water, hit start, and bolted. I'm not sure why we're assuming she must have stuck around and not been in a complete frenzy trying to get everything sorted and get out before the room mates came home.
It's that the camera was in the second load that makes me think she had left and come back. Roomie is home around 3 pm, and I'll bet Travis had already started the load of bedding AND put it in the dryer. Seems like he took some time to delete the naughty pixs and strip the bedding.

Load of wash takes maybe an hour, then he puts it in dryer, a n d. she's b a c k.

ETA: Why did Jodi delete the shower pix and THEN put the camera in the washer? Because if Travis' brand new camera was missing, EVERYONE would know that Jodi had been there. So, she deletes the shower pix (without looking at each shot). Then she tosses it in to take care of her fingerprints and destroy the thing, all the while thinking EVERYONE will think Travis must have just grabbed a bunch of stuff and didn't realize the camera was in there (kinda explains why there were so many socks in that load, also).

I've been reading yesterday's posts and noticed I was 1 of 3 people reading there. The other 2 are guests.

Wonder if they're from the DT looking for clues for next week?

However...we will need to trademark our new acronym in order to prevent the inevitable creative permutations thereof -- particularly given some of the proclivities of the object of our obsession. Just sayin'.

My name is Deb, and I am a Juanaholic.

I might have misinterpreted it, but it seemed to me to mean that 83% reported to police are female victims, where as the Stats Can survey showed a reported 6% of the male population and 7% of the female population in Canada reported being victims of domestic abuse. This would include incidents not reported to police.

I did indicate I believed more severe cases are against women however, and the article does agree.

"The report found that female victims were more than twice as likely to be injured as male victims, three times more likely to fear for their life, and twice as likely to be the targets of more than 10 violent episodes. "

This is strictly my opinion so don't tar and feather me, but I think the statistics are skewed. I know of at least three men I can think of immediately that have been physically abused and never reported it. They seem to think they would be perceived as wimps if they can't take a few punches from a woman.
My brother died of antifreeze poisoning and although we suspected his wife did it, it was never proven how he was poisoned. His wife had a previous husband who had been shot in the back and that case was never solved.

If I know of that many situations never reported or attributed to women vs men it is logical to follow other people know some that aren't reflected in the statistics as well.

Hello, my name is TartLemon and I'm an Arias Addict. It started as an occasional glance at the TV or reading an article here or there on the internet.

Now, the moment I wake, I reach for the remote or turn on the internet to Websleuths.

......:banghead::floorlaugh::banghead:

*In chorus with other WS's...WELCOME TartLemon!

He also called her a liar and a sociopath, doesn't seem he was far from the mark, and was provoked. What we don't know is what she said to him verbally that did not get texted, IM'd, or chatted. So we still do not have the correct context of what was going on late May. He did not want to talk with her anymore, he resorted to texting and said it was in response to her 'dire conversation,'

Whatever she did or said, it had to be done electronically, yes? She was back in CA at that point, and there is no record of her returning to AZ for a flying visit then.

Somewhere there has to be evidence of what happened to set him off.

For those of us who are hopelessly addicted to this trial, I'd like to propose this name for our group: Arias Addicts Anonymous. :D

I just found a seminar online called "Was Snow White Addicted To Trials?"

Catchy title, huh?

A camera in the washing machine with all the bloody towels wouldn't have pointed the figer at her just as much as a missing camera would have?

There were no bloody towels in that wash load. The only items in that wash load were the camera and the clothing items that Travis wore that day that Jodi thought might have her DNA on them... his t-shirt, shorts, underwear and socks.

She didn't intend to take the camera with her or she wouldn't have bothered with deleting each photo one by one having so little time to clean up and leave. She put the camera in the washer to get rid of blood, her fingerprints and destroy the memory card thereby destroying any evidence that the camera was involved in the crime and that SHE was there and involved in the crime. She ran out of time before she had the chance to get the camera out of the washer and back in its case looking totally innocent of having been involved in the crime and any photos on in pointing to her involvement.

It's pretty likely that she had to leave before that wash cycle was finished since from the time of the killing she had less than half an hour to do everything she did and get out of the house before the roommate got home. Had she had a little more time she would have let that wash cycle finish and take the camera out and put it back in its case.

Someone had posted the other day that she has two sons, and a partner, Gail. That always reads to me "domestic" partner, not professional.

ETA: Not that I care either way, because I don't.

Dear Jodi: I know that my thinking of you, even in the worst possible ways as I do, is probably satistying to you, but nonetheless feel like dropping a line anyway.

I awoke this morning to birds singing in my neighbor's trees - not the clanging of cell doors and the cacophony of a jail. I would have preferred not to be awakened at 5:30 a.m., but I bet it was still more pleasant than your awakening.

Although I had a peanut butter sandwich and apple for breakfast (along with my freshly ground Kona coffee), it was because that's what I wanted, not because that's what the sheriff chose to serve me. And, tomorrow, I have Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream to look forward to...

Yesterday evening, I had a wonderful dinner out with friends at a cozy Italian restaurant where we listened to opera, had stimulating conversation, and laughed a lot. (And, you were never mentioned!)

What have you done in the last 24 hours? Interesting, isn't it, how much more enjoyable my life is than yours? Could it be because I didn't choose to be a cold-blooded murderer?

With no kind regards whatsoever, MrW

Sorry, peeps, this was just on my mind today. Now, off to enjoy the best my town has to offer on a Saturday afternoon!! As you were....

I agree. It was very obvious to me that ALV had "cherry-picked" the messages to cast a negative light on Travis and completely skipped what Travis was responding to in his emotional response to Jodi. I think that ALV's deliberate manipulation of the evidence will come back and bite her in the azzzzz.

I know some of you are going to be amazed that I'm saying this, but... In fairness to ALV, she did not choose the passages upon which she based her testimony. Part of the problem with the foundation of her conclusions was that she admittedly relied on the often-summarized and thoroughly cherry-picked information the Defense Team provided her with. She admitted that she had not read all of the journal, for example, but only the material provided by the DT -- admitting that some of that was summarized (thus not verbatim). That doesn't excuse the broad conclusions she made based on such scanty evidence, but it is important to recognize the limitation of the material with which she worked.

Do not pile on me. I am not a fan of ALV's testimony in this case and have said so many times.

I, for one, am really hoping for the "smoking gun", that "Perry Mason Moment", when Juan whips out the unaccounted for photos, or the info on JA's computer that she thought she had conveniently destroyed. I think I'm going to feel terribly let down if there isn't one.

This is my first trial watch. Is it always like this?

My ideal smoking gun would be the 'Doctored Diaries'.
