How does that happen? I can't imagine Jodi willingly answering a prosecution expert's questions, especially truthfully.

Demarte is a clinical psychologist who evaluated Jodi Arias.
She is scheduled to be a key rebuttal witness for the prosecution in the case.

Here's an O/T story that will undoubtedly get removed, but . . . I used to be an office manager for a construction company. The article said some women wanted a break on the price (we all got a good laugh about that), and some women were attracted to a man who was, shall we say, good with hands.

But the number one attraction, they said, was that every day, in order to do his job, the man would come to her house and listen to her.

Aww....well thank you but all I am is a Certified Behavioral Health Tech....not a professional. I don't get to do the heavy duty therupeutic stuff (i think I spelled that wrong!) that a licensed professional does...but I do work closely with them and the kids (or adults....depends on where I am working that day) with running groups and "therepeutic listening and discussions" (counseling is only done by a professional).

In reality the text said ' THE wrath" not 'MY wrath.'

Travis was speaking about THEE WRATH, which is probably Mormon speak for Karma or Universal Retribution.

BUT NURMI AND WILMOTT kept purposely reading it aloud INCORRECTLY. They kept saying ' MY wrath' as a way to imply that Travis himself was threatening her.

So it was kind of funny when ALV corrected JW when JW said ' MY wrath." ALV corrected it to ' The Wrath' and I laughed out loud. :dance:

LOL true. And the petition (sorry had to mention it) exploded like fire. She has to notice that. I think she will be forced to make a statement.

She will have to come back to Long Beach and she might want to make some statement defending her position or indicating she made her conclusion based on very limited info. I don't know..

I would love it if she still turned it around came to middle ground and admitted she can't know for sure Jodi was abused. I don't like her "being so sure" when she never met him.

I can relate to this. Long before the Kim Carnes hit in the mid-'80s, someone in my college dorm (1969) told me that my eyes reminded her of Bette Davis. The inimitable actress was not a Hollywood beauty, but her eyes spoke volumes in every one of her films.

Here's a link to JA's journal entry "written" on May 22. Contains some info related to the missing cell phone and its recordings. I read my hubby the first few lines and he said "Oh, she went back and wrote that after the murder. I don't need to hear anymore."

Your husband is a smart man. I said the same thing. Great minds and all that. She either rewrote it after the killing (she had a good 5 1/2 weeks to do it) or my other thought is that she made the decision to kill Travis much earlier then May 26, 2008 like it is thought. I think she made the decision much earlier when she realized how much Travis liked Mimi and started mentioning the M word with regards to her. There was no way JA was going to allow Travis to marry anyone but her and I think that is when the seeds were planted and I think she began writing in her journal with that in her mind. Please. She was happy for Travis for finding someone he wanted to marry and only wished the best for him? Give me a break.
