Well this puts things in perspective on how this trial has dragged on way too long.

Since Feb. 4th, we have had a grand total of 3, count them, 3 witnesses on the stand, UGH

Yes. And was anyone suprised except for me when JW decided not to ask any questions of ALV after the very last jury question. When I was watching and heard there was another question I was thinking great. Another 20 minutes.

I was so expecting it that when she didn't I immediately thought JW just gave up. She totally quit. Just felt like that to me. Definitely not what I expected. IMHO

Could we do a POLL on this.....a close up of the fingers in that pic compared to pics of TA. I am just curious as to how the WS people opinions on this would be?

Like I said, it is only JA Word to her DT that is really TA that sent it to her and that is his Jewels. I am not trying to be disrespectful at all to TA memory, but it is ONLY JA words that is his jewels. So WS, lets do a poll on the comparsion on the shape of those fingers in that pic to TA fingers

Will be interesting to see how the WS view that evidence. Evidence is Evidence and maybe it IS another item of JA LIES!!

I've been thinking about this statement and the previous sentence:

I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND HOW EVIL I THINK YOU ARE.

I can't imagine the horror of circumstances that would have moved Travis to make such statements. Without going into detail, there have been people in my life who hurt me and I'm sure it's true for almost everyone that we may have thought these things from time to time. But to say them to someone? What would that take?

Anyone willing to admit that they've made a similar statement and the situation underlying it?

I may be wrong but didn't JA say he was angry over a picture?

We spent weeks on that a few months ago. many folks showed the stubby fingernail beds. agreed that it is not Travis. But someone may be able to guide you better than I.

Yes i believe she testified to that ...the company said the weight limit is 25 pound on shelf. And ja isnt a lightweight fairy. If she stood on front of shelf ..weight capacity would be less. Imo

I just heard on HLN that ALV has been ordered back to court on Tuesday for further testimony. Did I miss something? Did the DT put in for another mistrial or something? Did someone stub their toe? HELP?

I am not sure which thread at this point, but around the time this big news came out of JA's mouth when she was testifying, that possibly the lower shelf which she indicated she stepped on, was actually not a weightbearing shelf but was made of different wood that the other shelving. I guess plywood as opposed to particle board but still was in no way able to hold a person stepping on it.

Respectfully, I really think this is pointless and inappropriate. Believe her or not, but leave the door closed regarding speculation about a third party. Enough damage has been done to innocent parties involved in this case. No need to go down that road and kick up more dust IMO.

Thanks Katie for noticing - as I said I'm noticing things late tonite, but wow - yes I think it's the carafe and it shows anger and force to get that water out to me! Yes, sneaky and SCARY!

You know those scenes when someone is holding a drink and they get so angry they break the cup with their bare hands? The way she holds the cup with those huge hands, I am just waiting for her to do the same.

Ok, so I missed that there was a mistrial motion from the DT because their witness approached a family member.

I know about the incident but didn't know this. Why/How could that even be possible?

I'd be OK with LWOP if and only if Arias spent the rest of her days in isolation with very little contact with the rest of the inmates. Given what she has done and the heinous nature of the crime, she has forfeited her right to participate in society and that to me means any society.

Yes....That would suit me fine. To quote Marcellous Wallace from Pulp Fiction..She lost her "life" privileges.

I had a lot going on with my moms passing and missed most of this weeks trial. Mind if I ask what "stuff" with Sam?

I really think that the Death Penalty is the fitting punishment for this crime, that being said I can live with LWOP.
When my friends 12 yr old daughter who I babysat everyday while her mother went to work from the time she was 18 months old until she went to school and was like my own child and like my sons sister was murdered and dumped in a swamp to rot, I was really let down that the state did not go after the DP for fear of losing the entire case.
My friend stated to me that while she wanted to see him get the DP she was fine with the fact that while she would wake up everyday for the rest of her life with her first thought being that her beautiful daughter was gone, her second thought would be knowing that he was still paying for it and would until the day he died.
So... while I will be disappointed if she gets LWOP, I can live with it.

Is it because one murder is no big deal, but two murders cross the line?

If Jodi gets LWOP, she will have way too many freedoms and a grand ol time w/ her prison buddies like she already is doing. Is that really deserving for a murderess such as her? How is that justice for Travis? She also has the ability to HARM other people. She has already attacked fellow inmates. And while some may view that as some sort of justice, the fact is, she can harm correctional officers too. I have a friend who is one and is constantly in danger of people like her. She has already proven to be a problem child in jail and if she has LWOP then she has nothing stopping her from continuing her evil ways.

It bothers me the ridiculous freedoms inmates get. It is one thing if they will be released, but being locked up for life and having privileges, etc....that really bothers me.[/QUOTE i don't think the ones in prison for life get too many privileges. i could see her trying to escape by disguising herself. she is a great chameleon. she probably will be institutionalized for life. thinking out loud, even if she had merely wounded Travis, she would be facing years of prison, but would have a chance at parole someday. no winners in this situation.
