if pdsd is suppose to be about avoiding the trama witch brought it on ..the story ja told about 2 people breaking in with a gun and a knife and travis being shot..didnt she testify about buying a gun and going camping with 3 men she hardly knew after the murder..boy doesnt sound like she was avoiding the things that caused her psd,,,,,lying..... i hope the jury is getting it

I have been preoccupied with something else that has taken my mind off this... the Boston thread and also the scanner thread downstairs which I listened to for a very long time and never knew that thread for scanners was here on this website.

I am watching Nancy Grace's rerun tonight and heard something that reminded me - DrD said that she testified the day earlier that she was NOT an "expert" as a Domestic Violence Expert because there is no Licensure for that. Therefore, ALV is NOT an expert because there is no licensure for that.....ALV never got a PHD like DrD, therefore, ALV is not an expert at ANYTHING.

Oh, yes... her "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" trip, panning for gold, wasn't it? Concern for being with a group of fellows roughing it in the wild, possibly doing each other in or "spinning her around" unexpectedly whilst looking for nuggets? Good lord. Histrionic is not the word for her.

After what we all experienced in that other trial, I have already been giving myself little 'talks' about how I will react if the verdict and penalty are not what I wholeheartedly believe they should be.
If she is given LWOP, there are things she will still enjoy, but there are far, far more that she never, ever will. And as twisted as it may make me, I will focus on that. She will never stick her toes in the sand, or wade in the surf. Or eat a ribeye steak, rare. She will not feel a baby kick for the first time. She will never feel the warm, soft hugs of children. She will never walk to the fridge to get herself a bowl of ice cream when she feels like it. She will never dye her hair ever again. Or pose for nature shots.
We all have to adjust to whatever happens but she has lost already.

Same here... I am hoping for the outcome I feel is fitting, but preparing myself just in case. One thing I learned from that other trial is that it doesnt really matter in the grand scheme of things how I feel, what matters is what the twelve jurors feel is just. After that we can only live with it .

You make some good points, but do you think JA cares about any of that? IMO her only concern is herself and how she can use people.

I agree with the other poster that JA will not suffer in prison, unless she ends up on death row in a cell 23hrs day - that would be the best thing for her and it would also protect the other prisoners from her.

She exploits all those around her, other prisoners should be protected!

It's a very chilly night here. So I'm going to get under some warm, cozy covers and check out the digs in Maricopa County. I've seen it twice already but for some reason I want to see it again...

She needs to have everything taken away from her. No pens, paper, art supplies- NOTHING. :furious:

You took the words out of my mouth. IF Jodi was even half way normal, those things would matter to her. But, unless SHE is being adored and the center of attention, I don't think she cares. In prison, she could be adored and the center of attention. A big fish in a little pond, so to speak. She deserves the DP if anyone ever has!
