Her Dwarfs:

Bobby Juarez - Bashful

Victor Arias (too weird Travis's middle name and her last) Happy (he escaped her drama)

Matt Mccartney - Sleepy (because he's a sleeper: we don't know what's going on with him)

Darryl Brewer - Doc (he's older and kind of avuncular, closest thing to Doc)

Gus Searcy - Sneezy (closest to "Twitchy")

Bryan Carr - Dopey (hangs out with her in jail ... lol, clearly a dope)

Abe Abdelhadi - Grumpy ('nuff said)

Poor little band of misfits.

I'm respectfully not including poor Travis in the above.

:bump: Too funny, I liked renaming Sneezy, "Twitchy".

Do you think she would have gone after whoever busted her to Travis regarding whatever the big secret was that Travis discovered?

I also want to know what's in the last photo that was never shown.

Like I said in an earlier post...She was NOT gonna off herself with two kinds of weapons in that car when she was caught...so...Who she was gonna go kill (cuz thats the only reason this murderess would need two kinds of weapons AGAIN) is a mystery but it sure as HE// was not gonna be herself!

I am so sorry for your loss cubbeegirl. I am glad he is now behind bars. Has he confessed as your loved one's mom wished for?

No... and he never will ! The only reason he confessed to Ms Benoit was that the gun was found and turned in by his brother and confirmed to be the one that killed her...it took awhile for CODIS to connect him to that murder...scary thing is he could be connected to others as well...he was a very strange man...

I respectfully have to disagree that if JA had killed before it would have been discovered long ago. The slime who murdered our loved one had commited a murder 12 or so yrs before he killed her and was never caught. He was only caught after he was already in prison serving time for her murder. I have never posted a link on here before so I hope I get it right....

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

"""""""I just cannot find Darryl Brewer's testimony."""""""""""""""""""

Because I started watching this trial so late, missing months, I began to do some research. I'm astounded at how much I didn't know, how much seems very important, yet I haven't heard about it.
I see Brewer as a guy who was likely used and doesn't want to admit, even to himself, that he became a combo "SugarDaddy"/Stepping Stone [ note that after the boob job $$$$, she moved on but kept him on her charm bracelet. He was her boss, wealthy to a degree, about 20 years older than her, spent 4 years with her, taking her out of a tent type housing, anal intercourse a common part of their sex, called her aggressive sexually, liked taking photos of him while he slept or showered w/o him knowing, and there is something regarding a Remote Control, that I found a Thread on, that people believe is the Remote that goes with the DVD supposedly stolen with the gun, from JA's grandparents home. And Searcy, a lot going on there I had no idea about....so much I didn't know
Oh yeah, after her parents found the pot plants when JA was 14, and despite her actions and concern expressed by her friends, they let her go to live with a family w/ an 18 year old boy/guy in Costa Rica as a Summer excchange. I'll paste a bit, but you would need to google items like JA, DB and Remote to get to a FB page

On Jan. 29, 2013, Darryl Brewer, an older ex-boyfriend of Jodi Arias, testified for the defense at her murder trial regarding a number of topics, including her plastic surgery and her sexual tendencies. He also told the jury she enjoyed snapping nude photos of him without his knowledge as he slept and showered.

Arias is on trial for the murder of Mesa, Ariz. man Travis Alexander, her former lover.

The Huffington Post reports that Brewer, now 52, met 22 year old Arias in 2001 when he was around 40.

According to Radar Online, Brewer, a single father, told the jury he was Arias' boss when she was a waitress at a California resort, but did not date her until he was no longer her supervisor. He said they eventually fell in love and he found her to be a caring, responsible woman.
The two dated for four years and Brewer stated during that time he never saw Arias act jealous or violent.

Brewer testified that Arias obtained breast implants in 2005, around the time they purchased a home together in Palm Desert, Calif., reports the Post.

The two engaged in anal sex while dating, but in 2006 their sexual interaction stopped because she “was saving herself for marriage,” Brewer told the courtroom.

Does anyone recall Juan asking Jodi about a remote control?

I do. I have been wondering about that. Jodi went back to Darryl Brewer's house to return a remote after going to the nail salon. Maybe it was the remote to the DVD player that was "stolen" from her grandparents house. Maybe she gave Darryl or his son the DVD player. Another thing too, I watched some of DB's testimony the other day. I did not see it the first time around. For some reason, he seems still loyal to Jodi. I wonder if she had blackmailed him, maybe even accusing to expose him as a pedophile, to which he would lose custody of his son. His child is 14 now so he would have been around 5 at the time.

Lastly JW's use of the term Character Assassination is really not something one person does to another. You can check the definition. Its a Public event
Too much more I found to post on.

Definition of CHARACTER ASSASSINATION
: the slandering of a person usually with the intention of destroying public confidence in that person

Examples of CHARACTER ASSASSINATION

None of those rumors are true. She's been the victim of character assassination.
<the actor's lawyers charge that the tabloid engaged in a deliberate campaign of character assassination>

MM or MH or anyone other than HERSELF like she stated. What exactly was she gonna do with a knife AND a gun if she was gonna off herself? Did she think she could shoot herself and slit her own throat/stab herself in the heart as she did to Travis? She was gonna go tie up loose ends. She got a REAL taste for blood when she slaughtered Travis. This was no defenseless puppy or cat. She was out for blood! Whose? We will never know...Thank God!!

Is there any info on JA's purchase of the glock....where/ when she bought it, background check, price, etc.? She was definitely planning to go on the run when she was arrested. My guess is she planned to kill anyone who got in her way...friends/relatives of Travis, law enforcement, etc. Maybe she and MM were planning to become fugitives from justice. Would love to hear the real story from MM!

possessed is not in the DSM-!V or V.

Was there a medieval DSM? Anyone?

Yes, they just titled differently then.

Papal Inquisition, Spanish Inquisition, etc. Witchcraft accusations and heresy denouncements had crossover to behavior based diagnoses. Accounts suggest psychological conditions would be classified as heresy and witchcraft. Covered a wide range of behaviors.

So yes, although individual Offices of the Inquisition may have kept their own lists or descriptions and not have distributed them to other offices.

I am been on this forum for some time and I have read every possible scenario regarding how Arias murdered Travis, why she did it, the 20 different background stories..Blah, Blah, Blah. What my opinion of the matter is she was a woman that had NO identity, she never matured after age 16-17 when she moved out & began living with Bobby. For that; her lack of maturity, I blame the parents 100%. It is a parents responsibility to make sure their child has the proper care they need whether that is mental or physical health care. AS well as the parents responsibility to discipline their children. Neither of which the parents of Arias did. They allowed her to do whatever she wanted and get away with it rather than to deal with her. For the parents it was easier to just let her go than to treat her, treating her would have taken work, time, expenses etc. I know how this is as our 16 yr. old was failing badly at school, it was our responsibility to get him help and we did and now he is making Honor Roll, star football player that is getting Division 1 offers from major colleges to play football. Had we let him go, he would have flunked out and had far worse problems.

As Arias got older, she remained isolated from her family, thus feeding the disease even more. the only way she could function was to be in relationships with men and assume the role of whatever kind of woman they liked or had previously been with. I agree, there is something up with Darryl, he is hiding something. He knows way more than what he is telling and I can't believe Martinez didn't call him out on the DVD player and the trade for the gas cans. He is definitely hiding something.

As far as Travis knowing Arias was coming to his house on the 4th, I don't believe he knew she was coming. I think she just showed up there and I haven't seen the text messages from the 4th to know whether he actually knew she was indeed coming or not, has anyone else seen them? Also, I think Arias came BACK into the bathroom..I think Travis went upstairs to shower and she was in the Den still on the computer. She then goes upstairs after he is in the shower with HIS camera, leaving the camera bag near the outside of the bedroom doors. She remained in the Den so she could go BACK out to the car to get the gun and the knife. Arias had PLAN A and PLAN B. PLAN A was to seduce Travis into taking her to Cancun, thus the purchases for sunscreen, the bikini wax, the nails being done etc. When Travis would NOT agree to take her, she resorted to PLAN B. Arias KNEW or thought she knew that Travis had found Mimi and was pursuing her, she didn't know though that MIMI wasn't interested in Travis at all, that is why in the interrogation Tapes she states this VERY point. I am just perplexed though as to why Travis din't fight harder for his life, I can only assume that he was indeed shot first and was in so much shock he couldn't fight back. The trajectory of the bullet, the course of events and the fact Arias kept saying in the interviews...'Travis was STILL alive" over and over, makes me think her initial shot didn't do the job as she had planned and that is why she had to resort to using the knife, thus the horrific scene and Arias's complete mash up of the crime scene. She was in a hurry to get out of there because she KNEW the roommates schedule and had to get out of dodge ASAP, resulting in the camera hastily being tossed in the washer and the mess of the crime scene. She didn't have time to clean up like she had planned. that is why she had the bottled in her trunk, she planned for that water to be there for clean up measures. I also think she had a spot preplanned to toss the gun and the knife. If this TRULY was a premeditated crime, then she thought out every step, including where she dumped the weapons. I am trying to figure out through places her and Travis went, or places she mentioned before anywhere near the Hoover Dam she could have dumped them. Anyone remember locations previously mentioned or visited?

Anyway, I have been wanting to get this off my chest and see what you all thought. Thanks for letting me vent!

Happy Sunday to everyone!

Just getting caught up on the rest of the trial from Thursday.

I was very surprised, as I am sure many were, about the job of caretaker that the throat slasher apparently had at one point.

It was quite revealing as Wilmott started the grilling about her past jobs, and when Dr. DeMarte mentioned the caretaker job, it threw Wilmott into a spin.

Wilmott began to fluster, (she has a terrible poker face BTW), stuttering, and was surprised (in my opinion).

After hearing the caretaker info, her line of questioning abruptly stopped, and she quickly changed the subject.

It makes me wonder if (my opinion only) this is the child that the throat slasher apparently befriended and was the Spiderman fan, and it was the throat slasher that may have bought some Spidey underwear?

Maybe?

Anyway, I thought this was VERY intriguing information.

If I understood the time-line correctly, it suggests that the child MIGHT have been Darryl Brewer's little boy.

Off to get my crawfish... going to enjoy the sunshine and most likely a couple of cold beers to wash down the crawfish... I will try to refrain from posting while drinking....
I am so sad today thinking about Travis' family, KCL, Tulessa and all the victims on this board and those we will never see or hear from... BTW...crawfish was our Kaitlins fave so I will think of her as I enjoy and try not to let the hatred I have for her killer consume my soul..

Stapler lady wouldn't be happy if Wild About Trial is not in the courtroom.

NOTHING in her demeanor or body language give any clue! Open, smiling face with no pinched looking lips. You can tell a forced smile and hers is as wide and natural as can be. She's enjoying herself.

Oh my goodness, you must be SUTHRUN, lol. Born and raised a southern belle, lol.

Yeah, bringing back a wimpy little toothpick just got you more licks. lol

And if she was suffering PTSD would she really go to a play she was supposed to go to with Travis? And would she really look like that???

So you don't think she would have killed again if she had not been caught? What do you think she was gonna do with knives and a gun she was caught with that day? Just curious to know what you think =D

How can I possibly know such a thing about what she would have done in the future had she not been caught? We do know in the 6 weeks it took until she was arrested she didn't kill anyone else. Until she killed Travis she didn't kill anyone before (speaking only of a human being), and we can figure out she had at least 1 knife with her in the months before since she appears to have done some vandalism (slashing tires).

Yes she had a gun and a(nother) knife hidden in a rental car. I suspect she was going to try and escape and the weapons could be "just in case" as much as anything else.

But that's moot now because she didn't get away, she was booked into jail, and all that's left is speculation. She won't be able to walk the streets as a free woman anytime soon, if ever. Likely never.

Maybe they'll end up in the elevator at the same time one day. Suspiciously strategized by yours truly. Unless of course cameras are in the elevator (I sure hope not as ...well, nevermind).

Long story short - I recently went on a skiing trip and couldn't get a return flight from Reno to Atlanta - but I could get out of Salt Lake. Grabbed a rental car and drive with my 15 year old daughter in order to get to SLC in time for the flight.

For some reason, I thought this was the Arias route (I know, I was wrong) and told my daughter this was the route that she took after killing Travis. (I never told daughter I was wrong because a-should wouldn't know any better anyway, and b-I'm her mother, therefore never wrong ;)

Daughter was pretty wigged out thinking about it, and so was I. My daughter is not sheltered, and is old enough to learn how this world works. We routinely watch trial coverage and trash-talk Arias, and it opens up all kinds of conversation between us! Namely, anal sex is not only painful - but it's STILL sex, so don't let a dude talk you into it.

If your kids are old enough, I encourage you to also let them watch. Our kids need to know that there is evil and crazy in the world, and that guys will use you for just sex if you let them. In addition, gossiping is a great way for gals to bond - especially mothers and daughters. We can teach a lot of life lessons by talking smack about others (as long as its deserved).

It's always a subjective thing for juries since they are given the choice to decide once they've convicted someone of the charge of first degree murder. The jury will hear mitigating versus aggravating evidence. In JA's case there is 1 aggravating factor (cruel/heinous). She has no prior convictions, the victim wasn't a child, and several other factors don't exist (there's a long list of aggravating factors the state can use in DP murder cases). As for mitigating I'm sure her team will come up with a bunch of stuff for that--that she's been in prison for 5 yrs and not harmed anyone, has been a good "citizen" of the prison, blah, blah, blah.

No idea what this (or any) jury will do --it's always a mystery because it's 12 random people making the decision based on their opinions and their deliberations together as a group. I could see it going either way. In any case I don't think she'll ever be a free woman, which is the most important thing.

BBM: She has NOT been a good girl in jail..just fyi :slapfight:
