I was talking about the hair doing,make-up,girlfriends & showers together, all the goodies..It look to me like they all were enjoying themselves.!The only one that was upset was the girlfriend who got pushed aside for a blonde!

I saw that video too. Let me reassure you MOST prisons are not like that. Most have cells that hold 1-3 people. and appx 15 cells per "pod". They have a day room and there are officers in a center placed, glass walled tower that watch over the inmates. None of that hanky panky garbage is allowed. Most prisons are VERY strict on the sexual behavior/relationships, since they always end up causing strife.

If their security clearance is low, they can be in the dayroom during the day (appx 12-16 hrs). If their security is high risk they are in their cells 23 hrs per day and only out by themselves to shower or whatever for an hour. This totally cuts down on the opportunity to "fraternize" as you saw in that video.

If you watch the youtube video that shows NG touring the actual part of the jail that Jodi is in, it is the "pod" section. If she is given DP she will likely be in a cell alone on death row and won't have many "neighbors" at all.

Contempt of court for ALV IF she wouldn't answer one simple question about an IM between TA and Reagan and being afraid of JA's stalking behavior. ALV tried her best to "protect" JA. That was not ever, ever her job.

IMO

I don't think he would even hint at the possibility of a contempt of court charge in front of the jury. JW was in full deer/headlights mode and I don't think she'd care if LaViolette got into trouble for her shenanigans on the stand.

But I agree with you that there was something really weird and really wrong about how completely she wanted to protect Jodi. They had to have a meeting to address it. That was just odd.

I really need to know, whatever it was. I am nosy, yes. :D

I also find it fascinating what others think and open to all different theories and scenarios.

I'm in the camp that thinks JA did this murder all by her lonesome. If she had help, the forensics would have found something.

I wonder though, if JA did in fact have help, would she throw them under the bus? I don't think so because if she did, she'd be in a catch 22. She'd be immediately found guilty of 1st degree because that would be a confession and she also couldn't use the 'fog' issue. That's the last thing she do is say she had help or someone else did it, especially with her DNA in blood there.

Just my :twocents:

Flores even mentioned it to either her mom or dad in the interview that they weren't sure if she acted alone. That's contrary to those who said he ONLY said that to get Jodi to talk.

Let me remind some folks that there WAS a screen to the back window, on the lawn and was taken into evidence.

The intruder story ---and the fact that she made one of them into a woman (I mean, WHO does that?) is suggestive that there might've been an element of truth behind that story. She of course, being the female intruder.
Which would imply, she had help.

She could not turn anyone in because as stated above, it would put her in a very precarious Catch-22 situation. If she turned him in then that would automatically indicate this was a planned event. Then she'd be looking at the death penalty for certain!

She's trying to save her life now. Not sure why because if I were her, I'd want to die from the shame of it all. How can a killer want to live? That boggles my mind. I feel guilty when a kill a spider!

Hi guys, thank you all so much for your posts.. Now I catch up on what I missed last week.. Thanks again

GPS-enabled cameras exist, they input the geolocation into the EXIF data like a smartphone does.

The camera TA had (Sony Cybershot DSC-H9) does not appear to have that function. This review page says it's compatible with an external GPS device to get that information: http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/SonyH9/design.shtml

Wow, you're smart! I had no idea that they were putting GPS into cameras now. That's kind of creepy though isn't it? What would be the purpose of that?

LoL love your nic and your avatar. I always aspired to be a nerd, just wasn't motivated enough to pull it off :).

haha. i dont know my cow lingo. i guess what i'm trying to say is i weigh more than my daughter.

my old boyfriend used to call me a little heifer back when i was a teen, would that be cute?? or abuse?

Was it a pattern, and did he ever say please?

I agree... our trial lasted only a few days...it was hell... I cannot imagine how that poor family must feel by now. It is time for it to all be done...
Lock her up, throw away the key, hopefully in anticipation of her date with the needle.
And no worries... another nutcase will come along and do something horrific to someone and we will all find ourselves here again...sad, but true...

After every case, I swear them off for awhile and the next thing I know I am listening and watching again.

This has been a very long case. The worst part for me is knowing that everyday that family knows who killed their brother, she admitted it, her attnys admit it, but everyday the family has to see her act like it was not a big deal. And they have...for a long time.

Well, interesting, Tricia's radio show got trolled tonite by a bunch of teenage level nutballs claiming Jodi was connected to "Bigfoot". I guess Jodi isn't the only one who tests in as a petulant snarky adolescent. ;)

... more like "big mouth"....

Oh, did I say that out loud?

I think because there's a religious connotation to it. Sodomy (Sodom and Gomorrah).
The mass population was conditioned into believing sodomy was wrong and against the law.

That's why homosexuals are more discriminated than lesbian relationships. In fact, lesbian relationships are encouraged and even considered hot. While homosexuality is often considered wrong.

And it's not because a man can love another man but, the anal sex that's involved. It's so antiquated. But those who take the Bible to heart often feel this way unfortunately.

Homosexuals and Lesbians do not bother me at all. I know a few and I find them to be mostly very delightful. (geeze, I can't believe I'm saying the word delightful) But....I do have a harder time looking at men having sex than woman. I have an equally hard time looking at naked men in like a Playgirl magazine. Not because it's gross or anything. No offense to men here or anywhere, but men look kind of stupid to me posing naked wearing boots with their foot propped up on a rock. Women look more natural. I can't explain why I think that at all.

Maybe the DT was telling her to just answer the question honestly or it would open too many doors for the state.

True:waitasec:
Overall, it was a great show! I didn't know where to put a comment about it, so I did say something in your KCL thread, sorry.

If I was ever a family member in such a case, I would want someone as dedicated as Mr. Martinez. I think he knows his "audience" and how far he can go with the "in your face" questioning style. I appreciate how dedicated he seems to be for his case.

I have read so many true crime books and started following these forums with Betty Broderick's case. I think we need a few good books from the family members and the trials from their perspective, perhaps even on how they manage to go on for many years afterward. That is asking a lot though, and would probably be a difficult task to attempt. I watch Travis's sisters and marvel at them being there day after day and the agony I see just breaks my heart, knowing it won't end when the trial is completed.

One comment about JA: I believe she did not take TA's camera because she knew it might easily be traced to her. It was her downfall that she was unaware the pictures could be recovered.

IIRC, they didn't have separate bedrooms until after she attended the PPL conference and started to see missionaries from the Mormon Church. He claimed that she was saving her self for marriage and moved into another bedroom.

But the other 3, definitely red flags. He said she would take pictures without him knowing, thats pretty darn telling she could do it again. Probably did a lot of pictures that way.

I just re-listened to Daryl Brewers' testimony last night. I admit to being half asleep but if my memory serves me correctly hehe that was last night..
he said that they had separate rooms because they both had furniture and stuff , but that they mostly slept together in the same room...this was in response to the question of if they had separate rooms due to him having a young son in the house... hope i am not telling you wrong..
The sex between them stopped around the time of her meeting the PPl people and the missionaries coming to their home...that was when Jodi informed him she was saving herself for marriage..

Well, the only reason I find her dangerous is she is clearly biased against men and sees them all as the perpetrators. She may testify on behalf of an abusive woman and give her custody of children in a divorce preceeding. Or against a man that is not abusive and make it impossible for that man to see his children, if that makes sense.. I think that is scary and sad.

I have a sneaking suspicion she's not going to ever be called on again. No need to worry about her. She's past her prime.

THIS is what really worries me though. I fear that the jury will take her stupidity surrounding the crime and say "well she doesn't really sound like a criminal," so maybe there's more to this story. Oh, and since we're not really sure what happened b/c she's just so stupid and made so many stupid mistakes, we'll give her life in prison instead.

I don't think they see her as stupid at all! They know what happened. They know its premeditated. They are not 'that other jury'....

But you're right... I cant speculate on a DP or not... :sigh: the trial is far from over. I will discuss sentencing when we get to the verdict. We have a loooooooooonnnngggggg way to go!

Go prosecution! :rocker:

the actual murder i believe jodi orchestrated all by her stabby einstein self.

the coverup i believe she may have had some help. but i don't think she fully disclosed the whole story to the players involved. kinda like "i'm in trouble i need you to do this, im really innocent, honest, it's not my fault, but things look bad for me."

THAT I can see happening since she was such a manipulator.
