Being photo-savvy is quite different from being microchip savvy. You're overestimating her knowledge in computers. Even DeMarte, a college educated woman, assumed that submerging the camera in water would be enough to destroy the evidence. Up until three years ago, I would have thought the same thing and I'm one of those nerds who has built computers from the ground up.

It is cut and dry. It is a fact that the last three incriminating photos were found in allocated space. Ergo they were deleted manually *at the house* on June 4th. That shows two things, 1) she did not intend on taking the camera with her, 2) She did not intend on taking the memory card either.

I don't see a puzzle here, just a woman who made serious mistakes in her altering of the crime scene. She's no female Lex Luther. Just an average woman who failed, like many murderers before her.

So did she leave the sex photos on the camera and the shower photos that were not incriminating too? Only deleted the accidental shots?

Is it Tuesday yet? I am going through withdrawal.

I wonder how Alyce is doing? Hope she is not spending all her hard earned money all-at-once!

I agree!

And have we heard anything about how Alyce is holding up? Are lectures still being cancelled?

Did you guys already discuss the rumor all over twitter that someo e found a 25 calibur gun near Hoover dam and is turning it in to police. You guys are so smart and know everything so I thought I would come here for an answer.

What!?? Is this for real?? Has anyone else heard about this? I had not heard of this before.

That's the whole point regarding the stupid camera. How would it be MORE incriminating if she took the camera opposed to leaving it behind? I mean some folks are saying she purposefully left it behind because if she didn't... all fingers would automatically point to Jodi.

She knows she was suspected in slashing his (and friends) tires.
She knows she was confronted with hacking his internet accounts.
She knows she was caught going through his phone.
She knows Travis probably found out she stole money and his ring.
She knows she's been confronted about sneaking into his home uninvited.
She knows there's a paper trace of a substantial fight between the two of them a short time earlier.
She knows her grandfather's gun was reported stolen.
She knows she gave Darryl the stolen DVD player in lieu of the gas cans.
Shall I go on?.........................

Would taking the camera away from the scene of the crime REALLY take the heat off her? It's ridiculous thinking as far as I'm concerned.

Good thing it wasn't ridiculous to her.

Yeah, she knew the heat would be on her, so why make it even worse for herself by disposing of the camera?

I found no credible source for this info. Just a post from March 27 at Topix which suspiciously cited no source.

I'm listening again to the cross of JA by JM. What a creepy-do. She went back to the library (after she dropped Bobby off) and accessed the computer he had just been reading his email on, printed them out, confronted him about the email she found. Now THAT'S a snoop! Probably did that with every single guy she was involved with.

I've taken a poll... I don't know one woman that wants a close up of it texted to her.

No comment! I guess it's good that hubby don't text! :floorlaugh:

Melendez testified that ALL the pictures of them together on June 4th had been deleted (sex/shower/accidental).

ohh noooo... it's not a negative. i blame photographers. how can i say this. it's very hard to make men look 'beautiful' or 'artistic' in photos because they are so masculine.

i hope that makes sense!

Lol…agree -<pre-modsnip> because <pre-modsnip> and they are so <pre-modsnip> but sometimes they can <pre-modsnip> if you're lucky-<pre-modsnip->

True story!!

I might share a little bit of your worry right now ... but I feel VERY confident that the blatant premeditation will be brought home in the rebuttal. This jury will vote for "Guilty of First Degree Murder" and will give the Death Penalty. I just know this is a very smart jury, just based on their questions (whether they seemed sarcastic or not .. they are very smart).

The question for Dr.D about the "tiger/bear" attack was a little tricky. I think that maybe Dr. D. should have preceded her answer with "if a person DID in fact survive such an attack .... etc. etc. because I don't think there would be many survivors of such attacks ... but I don't see anything scary about that question. In general, I think the jury was very impressed with Dr. JD. I know I was. She was amazing in how she handled herself. Very impressive ... polished, poised and professional ..

I think the fact that there were only 19 jury questions for Dr. D and there were over 100 each for Dr. S and ALV speaks volumes. They understood what she was saying, didn't try to challenge her, and probably saw exactly what we did.

Agreed. It would be like asking for a close-up picture of Richard Nixon's nose. But longer. No thanks.

I can't wait to see what the sealed records have to say about those closed door hearings with ALV. My suspicion is more around the her talking to the media DURING her testimony stuff (ER, "stalked" etc) . Just a hunch.

But how many years will we have to wait for them to be unsealed? If she gets DP it will be years & years before all of her appeals are exhausted and I don't think they can unseal them until then.

More hWild tweets

Wow.. had to take a bath instead of a shower. That really sucked. At least there were bubbles.

Going to have to get used to everything taking 10 times longer and sucking 50 times more I guess. Thank god for reclination.

I said it a bit sarcastically but most of us know, even if we delete files on our computer then send it to our trash bin and empty it.....they still stay on the motherboard. Same thing with our cell phones. We can delete phone numbers off the SIM card but they remain on the hard drive of the phone itself. It's common knowledge. There's hardly nothing that's not retrievable when it comes to microchips. It's difficult to destroy electrons, photons and then silicon-based chips.

The whole camera thing doesn't sit well with me. From me believing the camera was around her neck (despite the strap untouched in original box) to why she just didn't take the camera with her.

I hear what most of you are saying, I'm just having a hard time processing and accepting it. That's all ;)

this has probably already been discussed but in Demarte's redirect she stated that in addition to Arias's restaurant jobs that Arias had told her in the assessment interview that Arias was a caretaker of a young boy from Nov 2007- Jan 2008. Who was this child I wonder?? Brewer's son perhaps?

I've read it was for about 3 months. And JW apparently wasn't aware of that. And when Dr. D mentioned 10 jobs, JW was all snotty and wanted to contest the number. Dr. D calmly asked if JW would like her to check her notes and she produced a very nice organized and tabbed notebook. :D

Not like Dr. Samuels with his papers flying all over the place and screaming at Juan that Juan took his sh&t. lol Or LaViolette forgetting her glasses for the what, 4th day in a row? Crying shame. I would have just pretended to read.

Btw, Jodi really wanted that PPL ring.
