Welcome to The Official Websleuths Investigative Book Club !!​

1. If you want to join the club, please email Stacy your username. [email protected]
2. This book club will be focused on Non-Fiction crime-related books.
3. We will have a meeting every two weeks and we want to hear your thoughts on the material we have read.
4. We will assign a page amount to read before each meeting.
5. You must be actively reading the book to join the club and to participate in the Zoom meetings.
6. You can write down questions or discussion points before the meeting.
7. Please participate and listen to others.
8. As people we learn so much from listening to others thoughts and perspectives. We want a richer reading experience by doing this together.
9. Please be respectful to others.
10. Most importantly, have fun and learn something!

We are going to start discussing the book
Cruel Sacrifice by Aphrodite Jones this Sunday, Dec. 14.
*Stacy and I will post on Sunday, the start of the book club, and talk about the first few pages.
*Read at your own pace.
*We will read one book a month.
*During the month we will have 2 Zoom calls. The first one of the month with just book club members and the second Zoom call with the members and the author. You will receive an email with all the information as the date get's closer.

Remember, we are going to start reading the first 60 pages of Aphrodite Jones' book, Cruel Sacrifice.
The first official post on this thread will be Sunday, December 14th, around 5 PM Eastern, but you all can start posting and talking about the first 60 pages anytime after the first post.
We'll be discussing the book club more tonight (Saturday) on Websleuths YouTube Live at 8 PM Eastern.

*We are asking you all to read 30 pages a week.
*After 2 weeks, 60 pages, we will have our first Zoom call.
*We will email you the date and time of the Zoom call soon.
*In between those two weeks, we will come here and post our thoughts. You are welcome to join us in posting, or if you just want to participate on the Zoom, that's fine too.

Yep. It is freaky. You are a fast reader, and that is great. Read at whatever pace that works for you. We'll be discussing the first 30 pages this week.
This book freaks me ou,t I have to admit it. The evil that is in this world shocks me.
We will start officially posting in about 20 minutes or so.
Then you all just post your thoughts as often as you like and get the discussion going. Stacy and I will post every single day, but everyone post at your own rate.
