Were TH and/or Kyron really at Skyline on Friday, June 4?

I believe they were there, too. It is so easily verifiable by third parties, it seems the news would be out by now if their presence (at all) had not been confirmed.

It does seem as if they must have been there. I just can't understand why LE will not confirm that they were there.

I have some doubts about whether or not TH and/or Kyron were ever really at Skyline School on Friday, June 4. The science project could have been set up on Thursday after school, and the photo of Kyron with his tree frog display taken at that time.

What are your thoughts about this? Are you thoroughly convinced that step-mom and Kyron were actually in the school building the morning of June 4?

I keep going back and forth between yes, they were and no, they weren't. But I've also been bouncing from one person to another to another as to who may have done it. Right now I'm thinking one person for a few different reasons, which isn't the same person I had thought this morning. :waitasec:

"He's not the type of child who would just go out of school and go wandering around," said Zimmerman, whose 8-year-old daughter, , is in Kyron's class and has known the boy for three years."

http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/06/search_for_missing_portland_bo.html

So Mrs. Zimmerman's daughter is in Kyron's class, and has known him for 3 years.... How odd then that her daughter doesn't seem to have seen Kyron anywhere near their classroom,or at the door,or in the corridor outside the classroom. Not even, apparently,at or about 9 :00 a.m. Seems strange.

Well - you're living up to your name, then, RandomThoughts!

But I know what you mean - I'm bouncing around, too, trying to connect the dots. Problem is, there aren't enough dots to connect, and they're all over the place!

I totally follow the line of thinking that possibly they (or he) wasn't there that morning,
BUT -
For as little as LE has confirmed in this case, it seems that they did confirm this. (in video link in the below quote)
*BUT* Then why are they asking about it on the questionaire, ??? :waitasec: and my biggest question for about a week now - why asking for video of roads from Thursday also???

LE (Gates) stated that both Kyron and Terri were at the school that morning.

Press conference June 18

-2:20 We're hoping that because she was here at the time that Kyron disappeared and with him and I mean it's naturally she'd be with him, she brought him to school

The real question is whether anyone saw them leave together on the 4th, but perhaps LE just wants to be equal opportunity in the information they ask for, without focusing on a narrow issue.

Reading the last few pages, we've just allowed ourselves to discount the only so-called hard facts that have been made available to the public...ie Kyron and SM were seen by Mrs Porter in her classroom early Frid am and then Kyron was seen by a second teacher in a different classroom later on...beyond these precious facts we literally have been told nothing by the authorities except that Kyron was marked absent at some time that day and did not arrive home on the bus.

Why would Mrs porter say she saw Kyron that morning if it were not true?...in doing so she laid herself wide open to major criticism? Why would School District Spokesperson Shelby broadcast this fact on June 5th knowing the public would slam the school's apparent lack of response to noting his subsequent absense?

Imho ...Both were present on Friday am at Skyline...no matter how inconvenient to other theories of the crime.

BBM: Here is another fact..

"Question: Is Kyron’s uncle’s arrest for child molestation in Seattle, Wash., part of this investigation?

Lt. Lindstrand: Yes, I can say that it is part of the investigation."

The FBI and LE are not bumbling idiots. They are not so inept that they would say Step Mom and Kyron were at the school if they weren't.

BBM. I was baffled by the lack of questions for those who answer 'Yes' to having seen stepmom. Not asking where or what time or if she was with anyone or if she had that long flowing red hair down or pinned up or was wearing a cap or scarf.

Then it occurred to me that it was deliberate. They want to pay a special visit to anyone who answers 'Yes', because they have to pin down the details. e.g., it's not enough if someone says "I saw her at 8:45, right after the final bell rang." They need to know as closely as possible how long after the final bell rang, how the person knows it was the final bell and not the 8:35 bell, etc.

They have to either a) rule stepmom out with complete certainty, or b) get as much info as possible in as finite detail as possible about her movements, timeline, appearance, description of anything she was carrying, anything she said, demeanor (crying, angry, smiling, laughing, detached) etc that morning.

Just bouncing off your post...

I thought they just want to see how many people saw her IN the truck that morning...

IMO that is where the cell phone pings are turning up telling the LE she was not where she said she was.... ie.. she says she was at the school but her cell pings are showing she was somewhere else at the time...

Also, in my opinion, LE attention on Terri right now... they are using her as a pon to get the the real perp.

Do we know that the daughter said that? Mrs. Zimmerman has said she saw SM with Kyron in the classroom by his experiment on Friday morning but I've never read that her daughter said anything either way. Is there a link to that info cause I guess I missed that part?

I think they want to pin the timeline down more. Maybe, yes, she was seen at school at 8:15, but not after that. Maybe at 8:45 she was out on Sauvie Island. I think they want to see if anyone saw when she left.
Or, possibly, they're just trying their best to confirm her story and clear her.

Here are the questions about stepmom and about the truck. They are two separate questions:

For adults:
8. At any time did you see TERRI HORMAN at or near the school? YES / NO
9. At any time did you see a White Ford F250 Truck at or near the school? YES / NO

For children:
6. Did your child see KYRON’s step-mom, TERRI on 6/4/10, at or near the school? YES / NO
7. Did your child see a White Ford F250 Truck on 6/4/10 at or near the school? YES / NO
