Rebecca's sister was not at the house when Rebecca supposedly killed herself. Sister has already left. Rebecca was alone in the main house. Adam S. was in the guest house. And Max wasn't being taken off life support when the supposed message was made. Max was diagnosed as brain dead on7.15.11 and confirmed on 7.16.11. At the time of the message, based on what is in his autopsy, he wasn't being taken off life support and wasn't yet diagnosed as brain dead. And according to Rebecca's sister (and supported by what Dina's sister Nina said) the test (MRI) was scheduled on Max for that morning Rebecca was found dead. And according to Nina the extent of damage was found after Rebecca was already dead. I just don't see why in the middle of the night and before that MRI the message would have been left for Rebecca that condition of the child worsened, considering the test was scheduled for the morning to find the extent of the damage.

I also don't believe the jiu jitsu has been proven. I believe for the time being it is only hearsay. However, it would be a good reason for someone to tie Rebecca's hands and feet.

Thanks to Free Speech for posting an excellent timeline on another thread today. It states:

"Sept 6th – Jonah’s attorney Dan K. Webb sends a “cease and desist” letter to Anne Bremner, to stop making false public statements that ‘have the effect of severely damaging Jonah’s personal and business reputations’.

Sept 19th – Jonah Shacknai writes a letter to the CA Attorney General requesting a review of the findings that Zahau had killed herself."

This reinforces my feeling that the second letter was PR. In it he mentions both deaths. The first cease and desist letter is very telling as to where JS really stands.

That timeline was done by someone from the Hinky Meter. I found it floating around the internet. *Lash* may know who did it or if it was a compilation from mutiple HM members.

I think the call was one of anger towards RZ that any of this even happened. I think JS was very upset at seeing his son in the ICU and he was starting to blame RZ for the boy being there. I think he called and told her to pack up her things. And it was not about the 'worsening' of Max's condition at that point, imo, it was that the accident happened at all.

The 15 investigators reported on the intention of the message. JS may have said more, but JS reported to LE the message was informing RZ about Maxie's imminent death. This according to what Sgt. Dave Nemeth from the SDSO homicide unit reported on 9/2/2011.

NEMETH: Preliminary information I'm providing for you to give you perspective is things that happened just prior to the event. The last outgoing call from Rebecca's phone was found to be to her own voicemail at about 10 min. to one in the morning. We know from the investigation, that message that was left on her phone was to inform Rebecca of Max's grave condition and his imminent death. We also know that that was in contradiction to previous more positive reports that she had been receiving regarding his condition.

ETA - Sorry FreeSpeech I didn't see you had posted this already.

At the 9/2/2011 SDSO press conference Gore stated to the public that they confirmed Dina was at Children's Hospital. On 11/17/2011 the question changed and his answer changed at the press briefing after the Dr. Phil show to "her GPS triangulation" was confirmed. Not Dina herself, but her phone.

9/2-

REPORTER: Can you confirm where Dina was that night?

GORE: She was at Children's Hospital.

11/17-

REPORTER: Dina on surveillance tape.

GORE: [Peruses document for 20 seconds] We don’t have her on surveillance tape. Her position was determined through GPS triangulation on her cell phone, which put her in the vicinity of Rady's Children's Hospital.

The timeline was from the Hinky Meter. I didn't do it except to C&P.

I think we should do a timeline on all the LE statements here. It would show how the developement of the key players moves in this scenario matched with what LE was putting out there.

Is there a way to do a running commentary where people can show a LE coment plus the research and links. That sounds complicated doesn't it? Just asking.

Also, an inconclusive test is not the same thing as a FAILED test. So he did not fail his poly. Maybe that is what LE was trying to convey.

He certainly didn't PASS it.

They said he PASSED it. Why didn't they just say the results were INCONCLUSIVE? Why not say the TRUTH? They MISSPOKE. They told a FALSEHOOD. They spoke an UNTRUTH. They LIED.

BBM

Why would anyone need to release any 'proof' of where anyone else was during Maxie's accident? There has never been any question about who was there according to LE. The EMT's were apparently 2 minutes away. Is it now being said that Jonah drove away a minute before the ambulances arrived?

Are people seriously accusing Jonah of being involved in his son's death?

I don't particularly like to link to this article because the writer admits to piecing together sources. Jonah did not drive to the gym.

Snip- Jonah and Max returned home to 1043 Ocean Boulevard, the historic 27-room mansion facing the Pacific that was built by sugar baron John D. Spreckels in 1907 as a beach house. Jonah bought it in 2007 for $12.75 million to escape the blistering Arizona summers. That day, Jonah was thinking about taking Max to the zoo. But first he decided to get in a quick workout at Hollywood Fitness three blocks away—a quick sprint up to Orange Avenue, cross the median, watch out for the vintage trolleys, turn left past restaurant row, hang a right onto B Avenue, a little past the home shop with starfish-decorated pillows, and up two flights. Coronado is the Southampton of San Diego. You can almost smell the scented candles when you drive into town.

Mr. Rudoy confirmed that only Rebecca, XS, and Max were there at the time of Max's accident last night on Tricia Griffith's True Crime Radio. Hopefully, the rumors about Jonah's other children being there can finally be put to rest now.

Did Jonah really LIE about the house?

from the article you linked:
"... acknowleged that person is Jonah Shacknai, despite the announcement in October that he had sold the residence.

He had, but due to a prolonged escrow process, Shacknai, owner of the Arizona pharmaceuticals firm Medicis, still holds sway over the mansion, though a deal remains in place to transfer title to an investment group, 1043 Ocean Blvd. LLC.

Aurich told the commission Coronado resident Joe Pinsonneault, a developer, is among the group members.

The group has the right to remodel, market and sell the house while it remains in escrow. Aurich said that he has a prospect interested in the mansion who is onboard with the restoration proposal.

[So it does not seem like a lie at all. The property was in a long escrow process and was in the process of being sold during the remodeling process.]

And is that it? On possible mistruth? And that is it, but it makes some think he cannot be trusted to tell the truth about his son's death?

As long as the title/deed remains in Shachnai's name...he is the owner. He owns it.

Thanks for chiming in... also narcissists can go into a narcissistic rage:

"Severe rage is a way in which a narcissistic individual takes out his anger against people who have hurt his ego"

Thanks for this.

Do we know whether Dina was at Jonah's the morning of Max's injury? She was due to pick Max up that morning from Jonah.

According to Rudoy on Tricia's radio show, only Rebecca, XS, and MS were there.

Off topic, but don't know where else to post this...From what I've read, Dina and Jonah's primary residence when they were married was in AZ. The court docs re domestic violence were from AZ where she allegedly told JS something like "you can't leave me, you can't leave this house"

He (they) bought the Spreckel's mansion in 2007 but I guess since it was his money, he kept the mansion in the 2009 divorce??

Now Dina has property in Coronado close to the mansion. but her bio lists her employment in AZ. Does anyone know when Dina purchased her home in Coronado and did she live there year round or did she just stay there when Jonah came to Coronado? If she didnt want JS to leave her as he claims, I don't understand why she would buy property so close to the mansion and possibly see JS and RZ around town being a happy couple as everyone said they were. MOO

I'm not sure Dina ever owned that property in Coronado. It does not show up in a property search:

I'm not an expert on this case like y'all are but I've never believed this was a suicide. I believe it was a hired hit by someone who already didn't like RZ and had decided in their mind that she was responsible for MS's accident. I think JS suspected this was what really caused RZ's death but did not pursue it because he was already dealing with the loss of his son and making accusations about RZ's death could drawn a ***** storm of attention to him and his business dealings which he did not want to be put in jeopardy by his personal ongoings. I also wonder if he felt sympathy for the person who arranged it because he was sharing their pain and couldn't bring himself to act upon his suspicions.

As far as what happened to MS, I'm on the fence, but my personal hinky meter thinks RZ may have not told the truth/entire truth about what happened and the whole thing about MS saying the dog's name seems like a way of trying to plant the idea in that the dog was the cause of his accident. It was seems a little too convenient, "he felt and then said the dog's name, it must have been the dog!"

As always, this is all JMO.

ITA.

It's like finding the deceased with a plethora of stab wounds and ruling that he must have accidentally fallen upon an upended knife repeatedly and with great force.

Utterly ridiculous. She did not kill herself. Balderdash.

And let us not forget that Rebecca laid in plain sight exposed to the sun for 13 hours before the medical examiner came to the house. Imo it was suggested that they take their time so as to degrade the evidence, cover up time of death and, worst, to humiliate and disrespect her.
