IMO, someone was torturing her in order to get more information. I believe he/she either lost control and killed her or the killer determined that a line had been crossed and that RZ had to be silenced. I believe the killer wrote the message on the wall and that the killer was convinced she was covering up something or for someone. I think the killer was either waiting for someone to verify information or left her to die or be saved.

The message on the wall has always suggested a link to the movie Pretty Women for me. There's a quote at the end of the movie that that is sort of similar and the killer may have drawn comparisons between a rich businessman and a younger woman (I'm am by no means suggesting that RZ was a prostitute or did not love JS). But someone may have viewed her role negatively out of jealousy or loyalty.

If the killer wanted to make it look like a suicide-then why didn't he/she/they write a more direct "suicide note" on the door? Something like "I'm sorry for Max's accident. Good observation and insight. I have finally made up my mind on this issue because of your comment.

This was not murder made to look like suicide. It was murder made to look like murder because of the very reason that you mention that there was "no suicide note."

I also don't believe that the evidence presented by the police adequately showed how she could of done this or why she had so many multiple planes of injury on her body.

Your observation makes me wonder if Rebecca's sister has a different story to tell about the events of that morning than the one that has been purported.

And then when Adam texts Jonah.. really? TEXTS that his girlfriend hung herself..... and the most suspcious action of all... when Jonah recieves the text he does not call his brother back or text back wanting details and further confirmation..... incredibly suspicious...

Jonah does call Dina..... the mother of his child... to tell her RZ is dead. A conclusion to the situation.... a hidden boast... as if he calls her to tell her I have gotten rid of the woman that killed our son.. I can tell you now because I just got a text from Adam so I know the police have been called....

Extremely suspicious actions.... and to top that off.. Adam is watching porn on his phone... asian bondage porn had been searched ont he mansion computer.... and let's not forget about the nautical knots.... and Adam works on tug boats....

My theory is that Jonah killed RZ in a rage.... when RZ screamed at one point... Adam came into the mansion from the guest house.... found that his brother had killed her and the two of them staged the scene to make the strangulation look like a hanging...

We have also learned that that summer Jonah was in huge trouble with his company.... investors were demanding millions be returned to them... for misrepresenting Medicis stock.. and the companies situation.... not reporting returned products in an ethical manner.... and the accounting company who had used the "trickery" was being investigated by the government.. and subsequently given a huge fine... the largest fine ever for their misleading accounting practices... Jonah was under a great deal of pressure... making a leap that someone would harm his son and girlfriend in revenge... was something he could lead police to believe.... in fact I believe the other man the doctor from Medicis was in town not because of MS but was there to meet with Jonah onw how to manage the crisis...

All of the evidence I have reviewed to date works very nicely with this theory.

I think RZ was dead earlier that evening than originally believed... not long after she finished communicating with Mary... Jonah had plenty of time to get to the mansion... to question RZ..

I think the voice message from Jonah was staged.. and that either he or Adam erased it to look like RZ listened to it..... you can easily phone into a voice mail service form the phone companies if you have the password... and delete a message..... you had just left... another odd action.... why didn't RZ answer that phone or phone him back... really she didn't call him back after he left a devasting message.... come on... unnatural actions... doesn't fit....

I am curious as to if Dr. Wecht told us what he believed the time of death was? I don't remember him giving this information.

It seems whoever killed her hated her with a "purple passion". Imo, that seems to describe Dina more than anyone else.

I think Jonah may have been very angry but I don't know that he hated her. I'm still not sure if he was angry enough though to go along with someone else killing her. Another question...if he killed her would he feel comfortable attending her funeral?

I don't think Adam or Nina had enough rage to kill her either, imo. However, I do think hat both siblings were angry about Max and possibly willing to go to some lengths and maybe even out on a limb to support their siblings.

I think Nina may have been capable of alibiing Dina by switching phones with her and by taking her place at the hospital but she didn't seem angry enough to murder anyone. Also the witness was certain they saw Dina and not Nina at the mansion that night. No one reported Nina there except Nina herself.

Jonah may have alibied Dina by letting her take his car so she could leave her's at the hospital. His call in the morning may have been to alibi her cell phone location. If they were allegedly both at the hospital at the same time then why not tell her in person?

I can also see Adam or a paid assailant going along with what they were told to do to assist someone else like with knot tying or knocking her out.

However, I only see one person who was angry enough to have the kind of rage that caused Rebecca's death. There was only one person that I can see who had flown into violent rages in the past where they were motivated to cause physical harm to the object of their rage.

Mary's sister stated that that her sister did not kill her self or have any enemies and that she wasn't stupid...she knew who did this to Rebecca.

Also, the strange message left on the door seems more like something Dina may have wrote as opposed to Jonah.

Also, it looks to me like the first day or day and a half, Jonah was basically forced to cover most of the time staying in the hospital for whatever reason. I'm sure he wanted to be at the hospital, but it looks on the surface like a grueling no sleep thing on top of grieving for Max and getting Rebecca to arrange all the guests rides and such. Could any of this have been to keep him from connecting more with Rebecca during a time that partners would connect? I sort of think so.

I think it was quite natural for Nina to try and get more answers from RZ that night. She was there with JS and DS when the doctor told them MS would never walk again that he was likely brain dead.

DS is too devastated and spending as much time as possible with MS.... she isnot in any kind of emotional state to deal with RZ...... but NR is and she is the sister there to help... and her sister needs answers... I believe she really was texting and went over to talk to NR.. she was very open and up front about it... the timing of her presence at the mansion is important.... because she saw the light on in that back room....

I think RZ was already dead....when NR got there..... interestingly NR notices the light on in that very area of the house... a light that was later turned off by someone...

and JS of course he wants answers and he got to RZ first... his son, his girlfriend, his mansion.... he wants to know WHAT HAPPENED... and it is critical now that he know... after being told only hours before by the doctor his son is likely brain dead.....

I remember the information about JS and one of his ex-wives how he reportedly became extremely angry over a bed wetting situation and how his wife was handling it...

Imagine if he thinks you were responsible for his son being brain dead? I think he is the most likely out of all of them to lose control become physically violent... and the only one that could get Adam to help cover up...

Adam was in that home the whole time..... and he saw and heard nothing... didn't even notice that light on?

His brother has now lost his son and his girlfriend and instead of sticking around to support his grieving brother... he leaves town as fast as possible... a very very guilty action...

I need more clarity on this too.... It was my understanding that both DS and JS were at the hospital at 6PM or 8PM AS, RZ Luber and JS .... all got out to dinner... and then split. up...... but what if JS decides to go back to the mansion....I would think he is desperate for answers and needs to be alone to question on what exactly happened to his son... that has left him brain dead while in her care.......he may not have been in the same vehichle as AS and RZ... but I think he want back to the mansion...what he did between 6PM and exactly when he got back to the hospital to been seen at 1AM....is a mystery as well as what vehichles were being used.. did Luber have a rental car... was it returned when he was taken back to the airport that night...

JS is relieved by DS in their hospital vigil with there son around 1AM...and then goes to find a room... but exactly where is Jonah.... between 6-1AM.... he could have accidentally killed RZ worked with AS to setup the cover up... and then headed back to the hospital.... in time to be there when DS arrived...

It was my understanding that both DS and JS were at the hospital at 6PM or 8PM AS, RZ and JS and possibly the Medicis executive.... all got to dinner... and then split. up...... but what if JS decides to go back to the mansion so he may not have been in the same vehichle as AS and RZ... but I think he want back to the mansion...what he did between 6PM and exactly when he got back to the hospital to been seen at 1AM....is a mystery as well as what vehichles were being used.. did the Medicis executive have a rental car... was it returned when he was taken back to the airport that night...

AS is relieved by DS in their vigial with there son around 1AM...and then goes to find a room... but exactly where is he.... between 6-1AM.... he could have accidentally killed RZ worked with AS to setup the cover up... and then headed back to the hospital.... in time to be there when DS arrived...

I think you mean JS not AS, but anywho, if Dina relieved him at 1 am where was she before that?
