Okay, I heard the part where Nina said in her phone interview to CBS8 that Rebecca picked up Howard (Dr. Luber) and Nina's suitcases from the airport and then dropped off Nina's suitcases at Dina's summer home.

I still do not hear where Nina mentioned her son being picked up from airport or dropped off at RCH or anywhere. Where do you hear this in the audio? TIA Nina also does not mention that her adult son ever accompanied her to RCH to see Max.

Does anyone have the transcript of this audio?

Nina's interview around 1:00 min mark -

NINA:
Okay - so this was, this was the reason why. The reason why was that Rebecca picked me up from the airport - when I got in on Monday night - my son and I. And of course when I first (inaudible) she got out of the car.

Later at around 3:50 -

NINA:
We finally made it – she, she dropped me and my son off.

Later at around 4:40 -

NINA:
So when I went - I wasn't able to see my nephew that night - it was after visiting hours. But I did see my sister. I talked to her um - Jonah was at the hospital. This was Monday night. But I wasn't able to see him. So I got a ride back from a friend of my sister's who was at the hospital - drove my son and myself back to my sister's house -Rebecca then had uh Howard (inaudible) she had to go back to the airport and pick him up - and she dropped off my luggage for me.

'According to the Zahau’s lawyer the witness send her a picture of Dina, assuring the person they saw the night of July 12th was her.

“The witness sent me a picture of Dina and said it was Dina. He was going by and saw somebody with a large, black bag trying to get in the front door and looking around and going to the back of the house,” Bremner said. “She was 40 to 50 years, 5’5″, 170 to 190 lbs., long dark hair; wearing a black and white striped short sleeve shirt. He is positive it (was) Dina and she was acting very suspiciously, he has seen subsequent news reports that said Nina was out front and he said that’s not the person he saw.”'

I wonder why she had her large, black dog with her? Was it for cover, to make it appear she was out walking her dog, or was their some other reason? Just curious.

Supplies, perhaps?

I wonder if where Dina was on Tuesday all those hours was verified and if there were possibly any shopping receipts.

With utmost respect I would like to post a vital correction here:

00:04:50-00:04:53 Nina stated, 'Rebecca then ah(uh) had Howard Luber with her.'

00:04:53-00:04:57 Nina then stated, 'Then, (which was possibly slightly inaudible) she, she had to go back to the airport and pick him up.'

I don't believe a word Nina says. I need a reason to believe her word that she was at the mansion and not Dina. Possibly the witness that was adamant in claiming that he absolutely saw Dina and not Nina should be given a LDT along with Dina and Nina also.

Betty P do you mean Dina had her large black bag? I don't think she has a dog seeing as how Jonah's dog used to bite her during her physical and verbal altercations with Jonah.

The witness stated that she had a large black bag.

I think that the witness, Dina and Nina should be given LDT to verify.

I don't believe Nina's version of events. Is there compelling evidence that makes her credible?

Yes, Dina did have a dog......remember it was in the video on maxshacknai.com playing with Max as he was playing with his soccer ball.

Oops... I red right over 'dog' and commented on Betty P's post as if she said big black bag. Still thinking to carry supplies.

Dina and Nina Romano's whereabout's were confirmed and they were never considered "suspects" in the case, since it was proved that Rebecca committed suicide.

Yes, Dina was seen in front of Spreckels on the night of 7/12/2011 by a credible eye witness.

Yes Dina may have had a dog but the witness did not identify a dog at the scene. He absolutely identified Dina in a picture and also by describing her approximate age, height, weight. He further reinforced his identification with a picture and by describing Dina as having long dark hair, CARRYING A LARGE BLACK BAG, and wearing a short sleeved black and white shirt.

Nina stated that she was on the premises the night Rebecca was killed but I don't believe her. Her statements were not verified. The were unprofessionally believed to make for an easy determination. Dina's only alibi is a cell phone ping. That's the extent of it. Not very strong or compelling evidence if you can call it that because many including myself question the validity of using unverified "beliefs" as evidence. Jmoo.

What the you and I don't know, is how many independent witnesses collaborated both Dina and Nina's where abouts. There were plenty of people at the hospital to vouch that Dina was there when she said she was, and other guests at Dina's house where Nina was staying that would know exactly when she left and returned. IMO, their alibis were air tight, which is why they were never considered suspect by the SDSO.

SDSO did NOT find him credible.

so many cases have had to be undone because of faulty witnesses. imo, some just come forward for the attention. Very sad that LE have to waste so much time chasing them down.

I also feel sorry for LE as they have a tough job dealing with unsavory and ugly situations.

That being said it is a beautiful thing when LE does a thorough and competent investigation in spite of the annoyances involved in the more mundane but ideally routine duties of chasing down witnesses. Kudos to the officers who "waste" time with this boring but essential duty and to the witnesses that dare to come forward in threatening and dangerous circumstances. Bravo to the brave and competent. Imoo.

The majority of LE that I know do the job professionally. I have no reason to believe the multiple LE agencies involved in the investigation into RZ's death were anything other than professional or that their conclusions were incompetent.

However, none of Dina's witnesses care to come forward to publicly alibi her. Witnesses have come forth in Rebecca's case despite the danger and ridicule.

This shows the difference in having verses not having a conscience. These people heard and/or saw suspicious people and sounds on the property that night and have reported them multiple times. However, SDSO LE blow them off because their statements don't fit with the easy, cheap and fast suicide determination.

They instead believe people with inconclusive or no LTD and mush that in the public's faces but are too apathetic and lackadaisical to present any evidence that supports their theories and conclusions. I really do feel sorry for San Diegoians having to indure this level of incompetence. They deserve more for the taxes they pay. Jmoo.
