I am not entirely convinvced a parent is to blame, either......but they know.
Boy, do they know.
Boy, do they know.
Pam Paugh said she knew who the killer was. But that doesn't necassarily mean she really knows. It could just mean she THINKS she knows who the killer is.capps said:It's statements like above that put me back on the fence with John and Patsy.
I can accept an answer of "I don't recall getting any hang up calls prior to Christmas."
But, "We may have." I don't remember."
That to me is unexcusable. Either they had hang up calls or they didn't.If it means maybe having some kind of heads up to the death of my daughter,I sure as hell would make myself remember.
These are things that make me feel that there is something amiss. They know something.
Didn't Patsy's sister say on a talk show (I believe),that Patsy knows who the killer is?
What the heck is going on?
Suppose the perp called between 8-10, JR delivered 118K as 'instructed,' and the perp got away. Would the crime have taken the top ( I should say bottom) spot from L & L as 'crime of the century'?tipper said:Although there were a couple of hang-up calls that morning.
<<narlacat said:>> Coincidently, the daughter of one of the R's helpers was found in a ditch only two weeks prior to JonBenet.
Here's some old news on the Lorain Lawrence death:narlacat said:Oh ok, thanks Rupert.
I vaguely remember that now and I seem to remember someone saying that about Patsy not wanting to hire women prettier than herself.
And to guess why, I'd say because she was a self obsessed woman who didn't like to share the limelight.
Is that a trick question??

I remember that now, my dismal memory just needed prompting.
I don't know which housekeeper you are talking about though, and the initials aren't helping me!
I know of two housekeepers but they're not the right initials.....I remember another one, that used to baby sit too but for the life of me, I can't remember her name.
I tried googling but couldnt find that article either.
What I do know is John Ramsey was capable of lying to his first wife and capable of having an affair.
I understand Jayelles on another thread is pretty sure about the affair thing. Maybe that gives credence to the statement by GV (Geraldine Vodicka - Lorrain Lawrence's mom), albeit quoted by the Globe.narlacat said:Ok, thanks again Rupert for that link.

Sounds like a whole fatal attraction thing. What was her alibi?? I neverRupert said:I understand Jayelles on another thread is pretty sure about the affair thing. Maybe that gives credence to the statement by GV (Geraldine Vodicka - Lorrain Lawrence's mom), albeit quoted by the Globe.
Frankly, I didn't give much thought about the affair thing, other than wondering about maybe vengeance from a scorned exlover. If the affair thing is real, then this suggests to me a whole new slant on this mystery.
(I try to use initials as required by websleuths.)

I guess I see so many names posted that I didn't think it applied. I did
read the terms of use, but then I didn't adhere because I thought it was
ok to use the names. Someone help me please because I think I've
really mucked up.![]()

I'm not sure what her alibi was, I don't think she ever came out of the woodwork.ellen13 said:Sounds like a whole fatal attraction thing. What was her alibi?? I never
even thought about that. I knew he had an affair, but I never thought
about this aspect. Darn it, I've got something new to ponder.

Can someone PM me to tell me who these two are. Thank youJBRMod2 said:Our rule is that you mustn't name a private individual in connection with the murder - i.e. as a suspect. As a result of one poster's persistence in doing this, we have a blanket ban on two names - DS and NI. Editing is time consuming and posts which contain either of those names are now more likely to be deleted in their entirety.
This does not apply to anyone who has been publicly named as a suspect or person of interest.
