What is Misty hiding, IF anything?

So far the best theory I've heard to date in this case is kiki the parrot's. IMO everything fits into her theory without the twisting and contortion of events in order to force it to fit into a possible theory. I've included a link to kiki's post (theory thread - don't think we're supposed to take one post to another) so that anyone interested can view it and because I am making reference to it. (kiki I hope you don't mind)
That means Misty is possibly hiding;
1. sedating Haleigh so that a) she could go out and party and/or hook up with someone...b) so that she could have a visitor over without risking Haleigh waking up and seeing...
2. over-sedating Haleigh and thereby causing her death or...
3. sedated Haleigh and went out partying - Misty knows that whoever took Haleigh had to be someone that she saw (knows) while she was out that night, possibly partied with and would know that Ron was at work...and obviously where she was/wasn't - and it wasn't home watching Haleigh & Jr.
I just hope whatever she's hiding, she cuts the carp and starts talking! This didn't have to happen IMO, MOO.

I believe Misti has recently admitted to going out of the trailer onto the porch that night for a cigarette. She could feel that this story would explain any inconsistencies in the polygraph. Misti could have really been outside with WBG or another guy.

She DID? Oh my gosh. I don't keep up with this case daily...seems like every time I peek in again she has a NEW STORY!

No offense to Misty defenders, but this girl has done SOMETHING wrong. I'd like to put her in a dark room with a bright light and do some old time questioning with this girl and get some TRUTH out of her!

After watching this video of Crystal's attorney and NG that is getting on my nerves lately I have come to the conclusion that LE's next move is going to be to charge Misty with child neglect for leaving the children alone the night Haleigh disappeared since it is said that they have eye witness and statements to prove she was not home the night Haleigh disappeared. I also feel that some how they will try to charge Ronald as well since he left Misty in charge of the children knowing that she has left them alone in the past if the eyewitness and statements are found true. I think Misty had several people over and things got out of hand and Haleigh saw it or got hurt in the middle of it and they had to dispose of her. Or, Misty took off with her visitors and someone, friend, neighbors, RSO came back and took Haleigh since he had his eye on her for a while, a sick perve. JMO

That is a very interesting video at that link, i too, wonder when will the arrest Misty?

I somehow missed this latest version! Why on earth would she wrestle with that door lock & go find a cinder block to prop open the screen door just to smoke when she could've gone out the front door? The whole scenario of the back door being propped open (if Misty did it) sounds more like it was to let a visitor in or an easy exit for that visitor if somebody came to the house, such as Ron's family. MOO

Bolded by me... I've thought of that scenario also since the whole family seems to be backing and praising Misty to high heaven, however, I really have a problem IF that is the case.. To think that Ron C and Misty would stage an abduction to cover their own rear ends makes me so mad I want to scream...Not to mention the bodily harm I would most likely want to inflict upon BOTH of them and anyone else who may be covering for them.

ICA. This statement IMO sums up perfectly Ron's whole basis and perception of parenting. His justifies his extracurricular behavior (i.e, drinking, drugs, fights, guns, underage girlfriends,...) by categorizing all of these as merely "parts" of or in his life. Sadly, the most important "part" of his life should be his children but he feels that those other "parts" of his life, the parts where he has sexual relations with a minor child in the home that he and his children live in, or where he engages in fights with friends or relatives over drugs, guns, girlfriends,.. are parts kept over to the left, so to say, whereas the part of his life that includes his children is somewhere over to the right and of course in his mind neither have anything to do with the other and they couldn't possibly have any cross-over effect(s), But if anyone questions or challange that, he pulls out the "job card" and essentially uses that as further justification and self-validation that he must be doing something right as a parent because, as he stated on NG, he works and supports his family. Reminds me of a caveman, "me man, hear me roarrrrrr..." lol.

As for him saying he was at work, LE said they are content with his alibi of being at work, and perhaps LE told him not to say more to the media.

LE says Misty is the key, she certainly acts the guiltiest. She can't take the heat when an new investigator to the case accuses her and walks out. 30 hours of questioning, and they still can't get a time line out of her; not to mention 3 different polygraphs indicate she shows deception.

Does anyone know how many polygraphs Ron has had?

I don't blame Ron's ggma for checking up on the kids around 7pm with Misty's background of benders, drugs, and sleeping around.

It seems all the dirt is out about Misty, aside from whatever it is she's hiding and refuses to come clean about. hm..

I honestly don't know what to think regarding this issue anymore. While I think that MC is hiding something, I don't think she did anything to Haleigh. RC either for that manner. I used to think she wasn't at home, but now I don't know. I would think she would have come clean about that by now. That is what frustrates me the most about this. IF she wasn't at home that would explain alot and LE would be looking for someone outside of the home. However, if she doesn't fess up they would have a hard time clearing her, which is wasting time.

The problem I have with how Haleigh feels about Misty as a mom is that we only have Misty's word for this. We haven't heard what Haleigh thinks of Misty. She may be only five, but she certainly would know if she adores Misty or not.
I for one do not believe everything Misty says. So, I'm suspicious of her claim that Haleigh would rather be with Misty than her own mother.
The really sad thing is that we may never know how Haleigh views Misty. God, I hope they find this little gal soon.

I just wanted to point out something about polygraph tests. When they are being administered, despite being asked a lot of questions (the beginning ones being control questions), there are generally only THREE relevant questions during the entire exam.

I'll cite two sources here, just to be thorough, but there are tons.

An examiner can usually cover three (3) relevant questions during an exam. This assumes these questions are related to one another (see the question above). It takes about 90 minutes to cover these three questions effectively. If it is necessary to ask more questions, another exam must be designed and conducted, usually at a later time. This will add to the time and cost involved. Test results are usually less reliable with an increase in the number of relevant test questions.
