What is the most vexing true crime case in your life? What is the one case that you need to know how it ends?

The Flora fire sisters. It might be a silly/arbitrary thing to say but it really feels solvable... which makes it all the more frustrating.

Also Inga Gehricke. Was someone living or working on that property involved in/responsible for her disappearance? Who abducted her and how did they get away with it? I hope she will be found soon and justice pursued.

Debra Horn in Allenstown-disappeared from her house after being home sick in the winter of 1969. Barely any clues. Found a few months later in the trunk of a car 20 miles away.

Someone's already mentioned St Louis Jane Doe, so here are a couple of others less well known.

Quanne Diec. Australia - Australia - Quanne Diec, 12, Granville, NSW, 27 Jul 1998 *Arrest*

Madison Doe. TX - TX - Madisonville, UnkFem 2-6, UP15905, feeding tube, in suitcase, clothes, blankets, Sep'16

NC '83 Christmas Jane Doe. NC - NC - Northampton Co, Christmas Doe, Blk/WhtFem, UP2196, 4-7, near I-95 rest area, Dec'83

Kids shouldn't go missing without a trace, but it's equally obscene when they get dumped like garbage and absolutely nobody knows who they are or seems to be missing them.

Glenis Caruthers.
This case seems to have flown under the radar compared to some of the other cases. I first became aware of it when following the Joanna Yeats case. We now know that it was not the same killer.

The murder of my doctor, Dr. Teresita Valera-Costello. She practiced in New York City. Her body was found stuffed in the trunk of her car in the Bronx in 1995. Two years later, her troubled son James would be tried for her murder. He was acquitted. I met James when he was a little boy at his mom's office. James died when he jumped in front of an oncoming Long Island Railroad train in 2019.
Cleared in Forest Hills killing of his mother 14 yrs ago; James Costello found dead on train tracks
