What one question would you ask in the case of Lisa Irwin?

I didn't realize JI was estranged from his family. This story sure gets complicated.

Isn't Spokeo like Zillow as far as accuracy in home data is concerned? Meaning, not very accurate?

Spokeo is like Peek You, it's a social network aggregator. I think Zillow is just a real estate sight, no?

OK...everybody is going to tell about their personal experiences. fine and dandy. The fact is this kid works at a small convenience store, drives a car and rents a home that puts JI to shame. He workds a minimum wage job, fgs!

The rent was estimated at about $960 a month. With utilities, etc, I say he was in WAY over his head. The home makes no sense to me. Alll records indicate his addy as being on Lister. Of course he could have moved. Then it wouldn't be hard to find out when, would it...if you lived there.

I realize people will struggle to arrive at any and all excuses of why he is renting this huge house as a single person but that but none of it holds much water for me. Something is hinky....period.
QuikTrip does not pay minimum wage here.
Zillow is notorious for getting info wrong and that is a zillow based ESTIMATE of rent. Zillow says my neighbor bought her house for 60k. I think her loan company and her would say differently. Zillow is just like using wikipedia and assuming that all the info is correct can get the same results. Same as assuming that QuikTrip is a small convenience store and that they pay minimum wage.

What? :waitasec:

When I was 20 I was renting an apt in NYC and that rent makes KC look like pocket change.

Living in SF is not easy...similar to NY. I know what apts run in NYC and you had to be making big bucks.

However, no one could afford to rent that house on Walrond on minimum wage. Why was DB and JI struggling financially if there was this kind of money in the family? If somebody was helping PN with the payments, why weren't they hellping DB?

So far I've seen little to show that PN lived with DB/JI when Lisa disappeared. White pages? Is that it? One step above rumor if you ask me. MOO.

Spokeo says my house is worth $1million also.:floorlaugh: Just sayin......

JI is a man in his 20's.

Well dang! When are you having us all over to enjoy your mansion? :great:

Kidding of course, but wouldn't that be fun? Would we be able to control ourselves and not go knocking on doors? I have some questions for SB.

Okiedokie....Quick Trip pays really well...guess you just gotta live there. Money is good and housing is cheap. 20 yrs olds can live in grand style. The area must be packed with older teens and early twenties renting the homes in Kansas City.

I can't think of anyone that would let a young single male rent their lovely home. Apparently in Kansas City, it is not uncommon.

My question would be why are these folks renting out their homes to these kids? Are they of sound mind? <modsnip>..

Bolded text added by me:

<modsnip> In some people's personal experience, a 20 year old guy renting a house is inconceivable. Others have shared that it is not out of the realm of their experience. The fact is this kid works at a small convenience store or, as evidenced by the link IDM provided, a successful chain with hundreds of stores, drives a car and rents a home that puts JI to shame <modsnip>. He workds a minimum wage job how do you know this?, fgs!

The rent was estimated at about $960 a month by whom??. With utilities, etc, I say he was in WAY over his head in your opinion/experience, based on your opinion of what he might make.

<modsnip>Something is hinky....period. <modsnip>.

Well! I just did some searching on Spokeo, and as it turns out my husband is living in a whole different state! And what's more, his house is worth more than mine is! The nerve of him--when we get home tonight I'll have some words for him!

:floorlaugh:

If he works for their maintenance crew he could easily make a VERY good wage.

Dang, I'm now looking into a job with QuikTrip!

P.S. Y'all can just call me Toto. ;)

Well! I just did some searching on Spokeo, and as it turns out my husband is living in a whole different state! And what's more, his house is worth more than mine is! The nerve of him--when we get home tonight I'll have some words for him!

:floorlaugh:
So I guess that means we have moved the party over to his house then! Since his is worth more that must mean that he has hired help to clean up our mess, doesn't it?:floorlaugh:

We all base our opinions on our life experiences etc.. My experience tells me that excuses are constantly being made for anything DB related. My life experience says 'hooey" on this PN being able to afford this home by himself and if he is being supported in it, by whom. I connect him with Oct 3rd because he was there with DB at some point that day/night. I don't have to believe he never stepped in the Lister house because I bet he did. IF he did, that puts him under the umbrella of suspicion.

You'd better believe he can take some of that extra equity and not only pay for the clean up but pay for the party fixings as well! Champagne for all WSers on Mr. Minette's tab! :floorlaugh: It's funny, because the 'extra' address is only about 70 miles or so from where we really did live at one time. That's pretty accurate, right??? Anyway, we'll be only a few states over from MO, so we'll cash out some of your millions in real estate wealth and rent vans to take the whole crew over to N. Lister to do some door knocking!

Just kidding around, everyone--I think we could all use some levity & champagne.

Unless he was inside the house and never came out, there is no evidence he was there when they were outside.

JI couldn't drive her because someone had to stay home with the kids. No clue why SB couldn't take her, maybe she wasn't available? Maybe her brother was doing her a favor, she asked and he said yea, I'll take you to the store?

As far as SB going to the store, is it a fact she was only going to buy wine?

This reminds me of something else along those lines. Didn't we see on the store video DB giving change back to her brother? At the time, I thought maybe if he was underage, she was buying the wine for him and giving him back his change. But now I think he bought the wine for her, and she had to pay for it since he was underage.

That makes me wonder whether she just didn't have the money to buy her own wine and/or whether she thought her husband might disapprove of the expense. So another question I have is whether Jeremy knew about this wine purchase at the time or whether it was a covert purchase, maybe hidden and brought out only after he left for work.

If finances are tight and/or there are any issues with DB's drinking, that might be a purchase that could be a point of contention between the couple. Maybe that's why DB's brother came over to take her to the store - he might've agreed to treat her to a box of wine, and she used picking up baby food as an opportunity to get it.

Not saying this is the case...just wondering out loud, as it were. I guess it's possible she gave him the change from her own purchase of the wine for gas money, but I tend to think it more likely that he bought it for her. Don't know that it means much, just something that I find interesting.

Spokeo says my house is worth $1million also.:floorlaugh: Just sayin......

JI is a man in his 20's.
I looked myself up on Spokeo. It got a lot right.
Square footage. Check
Two fireplaces. Check
My occupation. Check
Now I'm getting a little freaked out by Spokeo but there was some wrong, too.

Living in SF is not easy...similar to NY. I know what apts run in NYC and you had to be making big bucks.

However, no one could afford to rent that house on Walrond on minimum wage. Why was DB and JI struggling financially if there was this kind of money in the family?
Whisperer, I think maybe he has a roomie sharing that rent and space with him more than likely. It's often done by a lot of the young kids around here.
As far as I'm aware PN doesn't have two kids and a live in girlfriend with one kid of her own, that doesn't work so it does stand to reason for me anyway that JI would have more of a struggle with making ends meet. Kids are expensive as are live ins that don't work!

I also think PN was part of the scenario that night but I think he was probably messing around with SB or at least had in the past.

MOO

Fixed. . . .

No. Biggest chain in KC.

QuikTrip is HUGE here in StL, too & throughout the State.

I'd ask why the boys' other parents had no involvement in their lives . . . until now
