In other developments yesterday:
* Court records reveal that more than 20 years ago, when Karr was 18, he married 14-year-old Quientana Shotts, whom he met when she was just 13. The marriage was annulled after nine months. In an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Shotts said she "got scared by his ways. He was never real violent, just pushy."
* California court records disclosed that Karr had impregnated his second wife, Lara, when she was 16 in 1989 - he was at least 24 - and he blamed her for the subsequent miscarriage of twins named Angel and Innocence. The couple went on to have three children together, including one named Seven Exodus.
* The records also show that Lara, fearing for her safety after his 2001 child-

arrest, claimed Karr had been fired from an elementary-school substitute teaching job in the late 1990s for being "too affectionate" with children.
* A private investigator who worked for the Ramsey family said Karr, in e-mails to a Colorado journalism professor, talked about being at the murder scene and provided details of the crime that were not publicly known.
* Karr said he kept a copy of the death certificate of Polly Klaas, a 12-year-old Petaluma, Calif., girl kidnapped and murdered by Richard Allen Davis in 1993, and was corresponding with Davis, who is on death row. Karr was supposedly considering writing a book on such cases.
* Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy said that "John Karr is innocent until proven guilty," adding there is "much more work" to be done in the case. She urged the public not to "jump to conclusions."
* Thai officials said Karr - whose tourist visa has been revoked - soon will be sent to Colorado to face charges in JonBenet's killing. * Officials prepared to test a sample of Karr's DNA against genetic material that was found under JonBenet's fingernails.
