What other evidence could they have?

From what I've heard, the CO investigators probably did not fly all the way to Thailand just based on a kooky confession. What other evidence could they have that prompted this trip to seize this man? Now going from what evidence has been released so far in this case the DNA found at the scene does not match a Ramsey. Could they somehow have gotten a sample from him or a relative and tested that? Maybe they checked his credit cards and saw he had a same day flight to and from CO the night/day after Christmas?
Anyone else have any ideas?

Last night, one of the guests on FOX, (maybe it was Trip DeMuth??? Not 100% about that) mentioned, surely the Boulder authorites had a DNA profile done on Karr in Thailand, before making their move, but being done in Thailand, they possibly would not release the information, until done here in the USA.

If not a match, they are going to have egg on their faces. Surely with what has transpired, they wouldn't want a repeat of what they think has happened in the past.

At any rate from what I have heard, nothing is going to be released, only maybe what is leaked, till the case comes forward.~if it ever does!

I have read where one's DNA can be done in 3 days, of necessary.

I swear I saw something on Fox last night that there was a report that a DNA mouth swab had been done on Karr in Thailand in the past 24 hours.

DNA-x

The perp might know what that is. OR - the perp might have an explanation for the animal hair. Let's not forget about the animal hair! In his last documentary, Tracey claimed it was a wolf-dog hair and proceeded to show video footage of Michael Helgoth at home with wolf-dog puppies.

I'd be surprised if the privately hired Ramsey PIs (who were presented on Tracey III as "the Ramsey investigators" as though they were the official investigators) know for certain what the animal hair is.

I heard the same thing. I think was done in the jail.

However, if they were watching him prior to his arrest, obtaining a DNA sample wouldn't be difficult, without his knowledge.

Jayelles, you have a better memory than I do :) I vaguely remember.

Wasn't it also thought, Patsy had boots with animal hair? The boots weren't able to be found, right?

Karr places himself in Boulder on Xmas day, 1996. Unless proof to the contrary exists, Karr's attorney would have to overcome a real hardship should a trial take place.

In other developments yesterday:

* Court records reveal that more than 20 years ago, when Karr was 18, he married 14-year-old Quientana Shotts, whom he met when she was just 13. The marriage was annulled after nine months. In an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Shotts said she "got scared by his ways. He was never real violent, just pushy."

* California court records disclosed that Karr had impregnated his second wife, Lara, when she was 16 in 1989 - he was at least 24 - and he blamed her for the subsequent miscarriage of twins named Angel and Innocence. The couple went on to have three children together, including one named Seven Exodus.

* The records also show that Lara, fearing for her safety after his 2001 child-🤬🤬🤬🤬 arrest, claimed Karr had been fired from an elementary-school substitute teaching job in the late 1990s for being "too affectionate" with children.

* A private investigator who worked for the Ramsey family said Karr, in e-mails to a Colorado journalism professor, talked about being at the murder scene and provided details of the crime that were not publicly known.

* Karr said he kept a copy of the death certificate of Polly Klaas, a 12-year-old Petaluma, Calif., girl kidnapped and murdered by Richard Allen Davis in 1993, and was corresponding with Davis, who is on death row. Karr was supposedly considering writing a book on such cases.

* Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy said that "John Karr is innocent until proven guilty," adding there is "much more work" to be done in the case. She urged the public not to "jump to conclusions."

* Thai officials said Karr - whose tourist visa has been revoked - soon will be sent to Colorado to face charges in JonBenet's killing. * Officials prepared to test a sample of Karr's DNA against genetic material that was found under JonBenet's fingernails.
