He was just trying to make the point of the reception to either Brits or Americans going in and trying to do their own investigation. Do you think either would be welcomed.

You have to just laugh at this. What is Metodo, if not the vehicle for an "investigation"? What about their "team" in three countries? What about their endless, never-ending, infinite searching?

So Clarence is admitting they are doing something illegal. Or, he is saying that Metodo is doing nothing. I believe the latter, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

The "Don't You Forget" Valentine's Day campaign will send out images of the three missing youngsters to businesses and public sites across Spain and its islands.

Two A3-size posters have been produced - one depicting Madeleine, alongside five-year-old Mari Luz Cortes, and one showing her with seven-year-old Yeremi Vargas.

In all, some 17,400 packs have been produced, costing the Find Madeleine Fund £3,000.

Maybe it means that as bad as it is to be British and have a missing child, it would be worse (God forbid!) to be an American with a missing child.

I came here to tell you that she might be in France, but colomom beat me to it on another thread and she has already posted the articles that say the police viewed the cctv tapes and determined it was not Maddie.

So........ we still don't know......

Clarence thought this sighting had some merit of course. : Are the McCanns on their way to Dorset to "search"? I doubt it.

I think I can answer that, at least the view from my side of the fence.

There have been numerous reports of Maddie being sighted and the person who saw her being "100% sure it was her" only to be proven false. There have also been reports of questionable connections with some of the people involved. Plus, she has been sighted all over the place!! I think we are seeing a bit of the "boy who cried wolf syndrome" here. Sad, but true.

It was just 2 days ago she was reported seen in France and now in the UK?? These are some very stupid kidnappers who keep taking her out in public without even trying to disguise her.

The latest sighting in Dorset reported that she was with a couple that came to look at lawn furniture advertised for sale. A couple? You would think that one would have stayed at home with their world-famous kidnap victim. :waitasec: She asked to go to the potty and the female just took her right into this man's house, no problem. Of course, her DNA was then probably deposited in said bathroom, you'd think. But does this man call LE? Does he get a plate number from the car?

No, too much trouble, I guess.

Sure enough, there are new reports that are discounting the sighting.

You are right daffodil. Shasta was taken into a restaurant by her kidnapper, spotted and thankfully saved.....probably from being killed like her family.

So I agree, it doesn't matter how many false sightings there are, I am thankful people still report if they think they may have seen her. Some sightings will be serious, while others may be malicious. Sad but true, just ask the police how many false confessions they get. :waitasec:
Does this mean we should give up looking for Madeleine?.....I hope not.

Dear Lord - I pray that you will let Maddie come home soon. Back to those that love her and to those of us in the world that worry and pray for her.

If and when the people who saw Maddie last are re-interviewed, I pray that you give them the strength and guide them to tell the entire truth and to do what is right for Maddie.

I wondered if we could also say a prayer for 9 years old Shannon Mathews, she has been missing in the UK for 11 days now and her mum has made a heartbreaking appeal for her safe return.

How heart breaking, today is MOTHERS DAY.

She will never be found. The ones who killed her and disposed of her body made sure she will never be found.
