CPH has put up every roadblock he can in the legal system. JB on the other hand....cooperated completely. So the guy down the block who inserted himself into the investigation is not cooperating as much as the guy whose house she was partying at. Thats kind of strange in itself? Wouldn't you think it would be the opposite?

What roadblocks are you referring to? If he hasn't cooperated then you have a good point. IMO

I don't believe they've given that information. The bodies may have been whole when put in the burlap (ugh, that turns my stomach typing that), but he waited longer with the body before dumping it, IMO. I'm not saying he waited until the bodies were bones, just that he kept them long enough to see if anyone came looking.

It's a complicated process finding out how long a body has been where it is found and if it had been transported there. The choice of words "dump site" suggest they were killed elsewhere.

YES. seems likely it was him that called in the tip to police of where to "search for shannon", but not to actually find gilbert ( at least not right away), but rather to be sure they were to find his "garden"---why else would they search in the OPPOSITE direction first from where she was last seen...

Maybe I am wrong but I think the City cop was simply a moron. I can't imagine anyone who was really doing that or thinking of doing that would put it on the Internet. The FBI, a great investigative force they are jumped all over it. It does make one wonder why SCPD doesn't want them involved in the Gilgo Beach case.

The Job is always worse than the day before. When I signed up in 1963 I am sure there were many that said the Job isn't what it used to be. Police work is always changing and at the same time it never changes....if you can understand what I just said.

The problem in SCPD, or as I see it is the SCPD hasn't changed one bit since it was formed in 1960. Talk to some of those old timers in Suffolk and I bet many of them will telll you the worse kind of cop you are the better the chances to get promoted. It is like a criminal that wants to be 'made' in OC. You are sometimes required to kill someone to prove your mettle as a guy that can be trusted.

"dump" is an ugly word, I agree--I must say I still debate this with myself, (and it is an interesting debate, lol, at least to me) so for now I stay 50/50 undecided, but i do lean towards NOT connected----(but they may run in the same circle, hence the tip call in--didn't want his thunder stolen for his kills before they could find SG)---I have a few yes and no arguments considering sg/gb4 connection, as well as for gb4/manorville, and when I can actually get my thoughts straight, I will humbly post and we can all go back and forth debating--may lead to new ideas

Your comment, about him saying he is allergic to dogs is very interesting. In the photos of the interior of the OB home, up for short sale, there is a dog bowl in the kitchen and a dog sitting in the Lazy Boy-type recliner.

I saw that yesterday. That was my first thought and my second thought was: I don't think this guy's name is on my list of "creepy" or criminal LE employees. Looks like this creep has a few friends of like mind, too.

PS, here in the very Mid-Atlantic, trees are falling all over the place and the lights just flickered for the first time. In areas just a few miles away there are over 35,000 already without power. This is a beast for way too many people. Another poster hinted that this storm will unearth more hidden things and that was one of the first things that came to mind when i heard of the LI conditions.

BTW, the Doggy has to go potty between the bands of wind and rain. Stay warm & dry all.
