Domestic violence is not punished appropriately; people who can beat and murder those they “love” are highly unlikely to care about anyone else. It’s a sociopathic flaw and to often people shield them and brand the victims as liars.

I believe I can hear the gunshots. I have questions. There are multiple shots. Initially, we heard there may have been more than one person in the SUV. We heard police shot at the vehicle, which seems odd if they were chasing from behind. Has it been confirmed there is only one POI? And that the shots were not fired by the driver or a passenger?

It has been confirmed by LE that there is one POI and he is in custody, the shots were fired by an officer.

Yes, and there is also history of reckless driving, fleeing/eluding officers and operating while revoked/suspended dating back to 2004. This guy should have been behind bars long ago.

Ok.. so if there was no pursuit, why was he speeding through the crowd?

Dilemma for police.

If they were chasing, people would say they pushed the driver to flee at high speed.

If they weren’t chasing, it may look like it was planned and intentional by Brooks.

Suspect in Waukesha parade incident identified as Darrell Brooks Jr.

Darrell Brooks Jr., the man suspected of being the driver, has been charged three times in less than two years with recklessly endangering the safety of others, most recently on Nov. 5 as part of a domestic abuse incident for which he was also charged with resisting or obstructing an officer.

In the case this month, a woman told police Brooks purposefully ran her "over with his vehicle" while she was walking through a gas station parking lot after he had followed her there after a fight, according to the criminal complaint. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries, court records show.

So there's a pattern here.

Waukesha PD knocks down rumors: No pursuit lead to this, no terrorism tie, one man, acting alone.

Honestly I am amazed that no deaths among children were reported. One of the videos I saw showed kids being hit.

There are two kids that are currently critical - one of whom is my parents' neighbor's daughter. We have heard that she may not make it. She's only eleven years old.
