Thank you, I have. I find myself looking at every story, video. blog and any kind of post, looking for answers. Somebody out there knows what happened to her, and I only hope that they have the courage to come forward with the truth. Angie deserves this.

May God bless you all,

Police Track Possible Leads In Drake Disappearance

Possible Evidence Seized From Duplex

UPDATED: 5:29 pm CST December 19, 2005

MADISON, Wis. -- As detectives piece together the movements of a missing Oregon woman shortly before she vanished earlier this month, the roommate of the man last seen with her said that possible evidence has been seized from his Fitchburg home.

Angela "Angie" Drake, 25, disappeared on Dec. 9 after leaving the Dry Bean Saloon in Fitchburg. Authorities said that they believe that Drake went from the bar to a rental property in Fitchburg with a man that she met at the bar.

Police said that Michael Desalvo was last seen with Drake, but police don't call Desalvo a suspect in her disappearance, WISC-TV reported

Desalvo is currently in jail on an unrelated charge.

One of Desalvo's roommates, Tom Allen, said that he and Desalvo were with Drake that night and they were the last ones still awake in the early hours of Friday morning, WISC-TV reported.

Allen said that everyone had basically come back to this duplex to sleep.

"The last time I saw Angie was probably about 2 a.m., and she was on our bed, or my roommate's bed, and it looked like she was going to bed," Allen said. "So, we had basically****************snip*************

I heard a little teaser on 1670 AM (Shawn Preeble) that there was some info about this case going national. Anyone else hear or see anything about this on any kind of national news ? I sure havent, and I didnt get to hear the whole story on the radio about why Preeble thinks it will. I think his words were "Why has this case not yet gotten national attention, and coming up in the next hour, see why authorities are saying they think it will very soon".... along those lines.

sounds like a rape gone wrong :(

If she was that drunk and seen in the bed at about 2am, I don't see her sobering up and asking for a ride between then and the few hrs before they others in the house got up.
She could have been given a drug in her drink and it killed her. The guy realized she was not just sleeping and took her body somewhere.
I mean it is pretty pinned down where she was last seen and who with.

Looks like Mr Desalvo has a criminal history involving narcotics, as well. I'm sure everyone knows this, but narcotics and alcohol DO NOT MIX well.

MADISON, Wis. -- The person of interest in the disappearance of an Oregon woman appeared in court on Wednesday to face an unrelated charge.

Michael Desalvo had a preliminary hearing for possession of narcotics, WISC-TV reported.

Fitchburg police said that Desalvo is not a suspect in Angela "Angie" Drake's disappearance two weeks ago, but Desalvo might have been one of the last people to see her before she went missing.

Fitchburg police Lt. Chad Brecklin said that while there were no new developments in the case on Tuesday, authorities are continuing to search for Drake.

Drake, 25, disappeared on Dec. 9 after leaving the Dry Bean Saloon in Fitchburg. Authorities said that they believe that Drake went from the bar to a rental property in Fitchburg with a man that she met at the bar.

One of Desalvo's roommates, Tom Allen, said that he and Desalvo were with Drake that night and they were the last ones still awake in the early hours of Friday morning, WISC-TV reported.

Allen told WISC-TV that Drake and others had basically come back to his and Deslavo's duplex to sleep. He said that the next morning, Desalvo said that he took Drake "where she needed to go." Allen said that he didn't ask Desalvo where he took her and Desalvo didn't say.

A body has been discovered in a culvert on a farm in the Town of Oregon near where authorities have been searching for Angela Drake, a woman who has been missing since Dec. 9.

An investigation in this rural area would normally be handled by the Dane County Sheriff's Office, but spokesperson Elise Schaffer said Fitchburg is handling this case, an indication it's in connection to the disappearance of Drake, missing since the night of Dec. 9 after last seen at the Dry Bean Saloon in Fitchburg.

Fitchburg Police have cordoned off an area near the intersection of County Highway D and Story Town Road several miles west of the Village of Oregon.

About a dozen squad cars are in the area, and Story Town Road has been blocked both north and south of the county highway.

Fitchburg Assistant Police Chief Don Bates is on the scene, leading the investigation, but he wouldn't confirm that a body has been found at the scene.

The area is about five miles south of the apartment of Michael Desalvo, a person of interest in Drake's disappearance.

A body fitting the description of a woman who vanished after leaving a Fitchburg tavern earlier this month was found Thursday near a bridge in the town of Oregon.
Fitchburg Police Chief Tom Blatter said the body matched that of Angela Drake, 25, of Oregon, who has not been seen since she left the Dry Bean Saloon Dec. 9.

Blatter said no positive identification could be made until after an autopsy is conducted Monday.

Authorities said the body was found at a spot between Drake's residence and a duplex where she may have gone after she left the tavern. She was believed to have gone from the tavern to a rental property with a man who met her at the bar.

A man has told reporters that he and his roommate were with Drake at the tavern that night, and Drake went with them to their duplex to sleep. He said the roommate told him the next morning that he had taken Drake where she had to go, without elaborating.

Hope that Angela Drake would be found alive, tenderly nourished for two weeks, was extinguished Thursday morning.

Detectives investigating her disappearance found a woman's body at 11:35 a.m. Thursday in a culvert near a bridge on Storytown Road.

Fitchburg Police Chief Thomas Blatter said it's fair to say that, since the body matches the Oregon woman's description, it's likely her, although that won't be confirmed until an autopsy Monday. Drake's family was notified of the discovery.

It's still not known how she came to be in the culvert and what or who caused her death.

Blatter said "no one tip" led investigators to the spot, but it was a location consistent with the investigation. He refused to say what she was wearing, if there was any sign of trauma or what led them to look in that area.

He also would not say whether she was victim of a homicide, saying only that it was a "death investigation."
