I think our mystery child could be dark blonde....James is 5'11".....

I think the eyebrows are too close together as well. I highly doubt that this kid was reported missing. I am leaning towards the idea that this may involve his parents...hence the reason they think he may need help and not be able to tell anyone. I may be totally wrong with that, but there is something different about this case. ICE being involved makes me believe this is more than a kidnapping case. Maybe his parents are wackos that are making he and his siblings live in an underground bunker. Just a thought...

My high school son who goes to a voc-tech school and had machine shop earlier this year looked at the machine on the right and said it looks like a metal lathe. :twocents:

Some look closer than others... If you look at certain parts,you can see where what is visible in the pic could be part of a metal lathe.

I think you may be right. I looked up pics and it looks like it could be part of a lathe that's missing it's outside cover.

Do we know the photo was taken from the floor up? Doesn't look that way to me. The photo appears to be taken from chest (standing) or ceiling angle, looking down. The dark "holes" appear to be stains on the floor...perhaps oil stains. Is this a fabricated work shop?

I agree with Believe. LE has to be desperate to reach out to the public with these photos. They say that by finding this young man, others could be found also....so it seems this is some type of pedophile or trafficking situation. I would imagine ICE would be involved in a trafficking investigation.

It does kind of look like a slot machine. Maybe the pic was taken by an ATM located inside a casino.

I highly doubt it. As a casino afficianado, you cannot bring children in. If you bring a child in, they will guard you like white on rice. It may be an ATM, but I sincerely doubt it is in a casino.

Now, here is a wild guess. In the Mickey Shunick case a building near where she was abducted was burglarized and burned down. The perp stoled 2 pressure washers and "various" building equipment as the building was owned by a guy who built buildings. I do not know if a lathe was stolen, but it does look like part of a lathe to me.

Hubby says the vice on the left of the machine, just behind the subject's shoulder, is what leads him to believe most likely a lathe.

The nose is more like the initial photo, but to me the ears are not quite right. It would be helpful to see different photos of this James. Interesting that this James was from Leesburg, Florida. Isn't that Casey Anthony territory?

Same here, I didn't sleep well last night, kept thinking about this thread. The good thing is that, even with all of our ideas about what is in the picture, LE has much better equipment and has those answers. The fact that ICE is involved makes me wonder if this boy is not from the US but was brought here. Perhaps looking at missing kids from other countries?

Hi everyone, still new here, butt yesterday I seen this posted on fb & its driving me nuts.

If you don't mind me adding my 2cents? I'm on my phone, but like others, I agree that pole type thing is one like my dad had holding the roof up on our porch when he replaced the pillars.

Also, I doubt that its at an ATM because couldn't LE distinguish the who's & where's by the card name? Or so id imagine, unless card is stolen.

Hopefully, the release of this photo doesn't get him hurt.

Here's a scenario. What if LE received this photo from someone & demanded ransom & that someone said there are "others"...oh I hope he is ok!!
