I will be interested to see if you guys can find current yearbooks online...I went to a ton of high schools in WI after that post and couldnt see anything. I am entertaining the possibility that he may not be a senior or graduated if we take him back to the lower end of the age range.

Is there a possible school name? Ancestry has thousands of current yearbook photos.

Ok got something else here. A comment left on CNN - a post states the boy looks like someone that the commenter went to high school with. It appears comment was posted using a real life name.

This person also has an active profile at the myyearbook website.

The high school is in Wisconsin. If we could view online yearbook photos from the high school or something - perhaps we could find the unidentified boy's photo and name.

The comment was posted on 22 JUNE.

This is the second connection to the myyearbook site.

What do you all think ? Yearbooks are way better than the meetme profiles. I did those last night and will not again.

Is there a way to see this person's friends on myyearbook like you can on Facebook? Can you point us to the link and comment of the CNN site? Thanks!

I'll be honest, I can't think of any legitimate reason that an adult would want to pay to video chat with a kid online. Maybe I'm cynical, but it seems wrong in any context.

Not everyone's emotional age matches their physical age.

Kids that have been abused fit into that category. For instance their is a girl that is mid-twenties that has a blog (don't know if I should post it) about what happened to her, and what's going on now, she admits that her emotional age is around 10 years younger than her actual age.

There's a legit reason for ya.

Thank you for asking. Found friends on FB, and have been on myyearbook all day looking at everyone and their friends, but cannot find this guy on myyearbook at all. I have probably just looked at the sit way, and I do mean way, too long.

Yeah that site is not good. Browsing high school yearbooks is more sensible than spending 2 seconds on that site. Hopefully a person has already contacted LE with the boy's identity.

Oh I did not see any links no - just some questions and answers.

Hi. I'm new here and have been following this story for a few days.

I wanted to see if anyone has seen what I have seen following this bit of info from the person who posted on CNN on June 21.

I googled his name in " ".

Go to the second page of results.

Four down is a facebook link of results.

Look at the fourth result...

(I hope I'm following the rules here)

What does the fb profile pic look like? For me 4th down on second page of Google is es-es.facebook. The 5th result down shows results for fb for the name I am searching. If I click that the 4th profile down has a pic of words one being cheese. The one above it is from Appleton. Which one are you looking at?

Welcome! I googled the name but my second page did not have a Facebook link. It was some track results. The info you are trying to share is on Facebook though right?

The Appleton one.

The fb pic is of a kid with dark hair taking his pic with a phone.

I was just thinking if the poster on CNN didn't use their own name but the name of the person who they think looks like the unidentified boy.

Ok. With a blue plaid button up shirt? I looked at him. He is the 3rd result for me. He looks familiar and/or similar. Everyone is starting to look the same to me. Hmmm.

Yeah the blue and red plaid shirt. Me too a little.

I just wanted to point it out because I don't want to go look at the other stills but I've read others have seen them. I don't know how much the CNN stills are distorted but from I've read they are a little.

Oh my...

First, we had a comment on a Missing Cases Facebook stream stating that the commenter believes she chatted with a person who looked like unIDed boy on MyYearbook in an Eastern Wisconsin city..

Then there was the comment -- this one, however, did not say anything about unIDed boy and MyYearbook/MeetMe (we just searched the author name) -- on CNN which led us to another MyYearbook page based in Western Wisconsin! Both first names we've gathered from each of these two comments are similar..

Now we have an actual FB page with an individual whose location is extremely close to the location in the first comment and whose name is exactly the same as the one in the second comment.. And one of his pictures appears to be in a basement..?

Does anyone else think this is all getting confusing? I feel like we're getting somewhere, but nowhere at the same time!

(And sorry if that was a bit confusing, I'm not good with explaining things. I, too, have been lurking and I'm not familiar with sleuthing - didn't even know that was a word until I found this site!)

I have also seen the stills from the MSNBC site, but I can't remember how unIDed boy accurately looked because I was too freaked out and immediately clicked out of it. But I do see some resemblance between unIDed boy and Blue-Plaid Boy.. Not much, but some..

EDIT: Mods, please edit if necessary. I'm not sure if I'm breaking any rules or not..

I completely agree. I feel like a lot of progress is being made, but it's really hard to say whether the whole thing has gone off on a huge tangent. There are a lot of coincidences though (as you pointed out in the rest of your post), but I don't know if it's because we're actually on to something, or if it's because we only have limited information to go by.

Plus, if the pictures LE have released aren't really representative of what the boy ACTUALLY looks like (as most have pointed out after viewing the additional stills), we might be even further off the mark than we think.

I'm a long time lurker too... finally got the courage up to write something. :seeya:
