Oh my goodness, I didn't want to hear that call.

JP DNA found on spent shell casings? Did I hear that correctly?

From a psychological standpoint, when you look at JTP, it's kind of interesting how the tables turn when a monster gets caught. They get squirmy and terrified to tears all of a sudden.

Excruciating 911 call played in court - made by Denise and Jayme Closs as they hid in bathroom that October night after Patterson shot their husband & father dead and forced himself into the home. It is almost inaudible, but you can feel the extreme fear in their voices. @ABC

Powerful words from Jayme Closs during Jake Patterson's sentencing today. An attorney read this statement on her behalf. #news3now

JTP shaking his head.

This monster shaking his head no as if he is soooo innocent! Grrrr!

JTP shaking his head.
Yes. To say that rubs me the wrong way is a bit of an understatement.

If he keeps shaking his head, he might lose what hair he has left.

He murdered two people in cold blood, kidnapped a third, and somehow the prosecutor saying that other people might have been at risk, is crossing some sort of line.

  • #671
Continuing to shake his head with random sentences about him being a kidnapper.

  • #672
He shook his head and spoke to his attorney when they first described how he threatened Jayme that “something even worse would happen” if she caused problems. Almost like saying that part wasn’t true. The man really is a deranged monster with no empathy whatsoever.

I'm just hoping some of his fellow soon-to-be inmates are watching.

Jake Patterson is visibly shaking his head 'no' to the state's argument. DA says Patterson is a 'killer,' has no empathy or remorse for killing James/Denise. #JaymeCloss

The state is correct...he's only sorry he got caught and he's showing it.

  • #676
And honestly, what did this 🤬🤬🤬 think he could do that would possibly be worse than what he had already put her through? I am getting so tired of these soulless killers.

DA is doing an excellent job laying out and articulating the crime IMO. I agree 100% with the DA that JP would do this again if he was free.

At the sentencing of Jake Patterson, who kidnapped Jayme Closs and murdered her parents in Barron, Wis., the prosecutor is quoting his answers to @LouRaguse's questions: “Nowhere in the defendant's answers to Mr. Raguse's questions will you find him expressing any remorse…”

DA: The only mitigating factor is that (Jake Patterson) pleaded guilty. Respectfully, that does not move the scale one bit. #JaymeCloss

I absolutely agree. Even more so would he do this to another girl or would he try this again on Jayme. He had the sick desire to do it then, he will probably do it in the future..
