I wonder how many doctors the defense went through before they found someone to give them the type of statements they wanted to use. Poor Jake, poor poor Jake.

I feel sorry for the defense attorneys because they have to do this, but they’re droning on and pulling in personal things that should be left alone just for something to say. Give me a break. It’s time to give it a rest.

They probably consulted with that “doctor,” they use in those rehab commercials.

You know, the bearded guy wearing a stethoscope.

Did they mention the doctor's name? I kind of want to do some research in his or her credibility.

Anyone else wish the judge could just tell the defense to rest, they’re making fools of themselves?

After hearing Jones I think he will get life in prison. When I heard his first defense attorney I thought it had a little bit of room for pushing against life. But after Jones...

Oh 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Patterson is speaking

Go light on him judge, so he can get the respect he deserves in prison. How can this guy even say those words?

Yeah because you got caught. Period. You didn't care for those 88 days.

The monster spoke. Can anyone understand what he said? It was all garbled sounding on my speakers. I think he said "sorry" but that's all I could understand.:mad:

He’s getting life.

If the judge were to give him anything less, recall proceedings would begin tomorrow.

His own family would probably disown him.

Oh I like this judge, I think.

He's getting life. I agree @MassGuy

The judge is preparing to sentence Patterson. His attorneys want the judge to consider a sentence of life in prison with an extended supervision date of 2072 for both homicides, plus another 25 years for the kidnapping. That would put him in prison until age 100. #JaymeCloss

Judge -"No matter how dark the tapestry God weaves for us, there's always a thread of grace." the thread of grace being the hope that JC was still alive.
I just tuned in, can't believe I forgot earlier, but I really like this judge from what I've heard. I do not think he is letting this monster out of jail ever.

He tells JTP that he violated the Closs family's 4th amendment rights of safety and security in their home.

  • #738
He is never getting out

  • #739
Oh JTP is screwed, I can hear it in the judge. The judge doesn't think treatment would be helpful and discredits the doctor's report.

  • #740
Great point made by the judge- how can we rehabilitate you, when the doctor you saw found nothing wrong with you?

The defense totally just had it handed to them
