I was replying to the speculation that Denise may have been the target. "Overkill" sometimes happens when perp has a rage against the victim and inflicts more injuries than is necessary to kill them. Purely speculation on our part, but James having one wound could suggest he was killed to get him out of the way, if Denise has more it could indicate some sort of passion/rage towards her. Strictly a theory, not going to touch on rumors at all.

I don't have a quote from any specific place but i think I recall reading or hearing Sheriff Fitzgerald mention that it was a very violent crime scene. Has anyone else seen or heard this? Now I understand that any homicide scene by nature is "violent", but for a LEO to use that term would to me seem more unusual than normal. It also could answer a lot of questions of what was going on in the time gap of 12:31, when neighbors heard shots, until approx 20 minutes later when 911 call was placed.

It lists everyone involved in the call. The dog was taken to Denise's brother's home, that's why he was listed. I'm not sure about the phone number? I'll have to look.

That isn't where the dog was taken. The log entry says the dog was taken to 17th street. Look again at the persons involved section for who that is.
Her was listed because he called in as per what the log says.

Also interesting - the bench from the side deck is missing in later photos of the front of the house. There was a star decoration to the left of the porch and a star to the right - those are also missing in subsequent photos I've seen of the house. The bird feeder along the porch railing (right side) and whatever that is along the left side of the railing are also gone and the porch decorations / railing decorations were gone BEFORE the storm door was removed as that is still visible in the photos I'm eyeballing. I'm trying to figure out where these subsequent photos originated from so I can link you to the as they're interesting indeed but so far, no links available to MSM sources. Also the porch where the bench was... there is small barrier under the porch that was likely meant to keep animals from nesting etc under the porch - that has a significant hole in the top near the bottom of the deck. Not sure if that is as a result of something during the murders, or not but sure makes me go "hmmm". A wreath is also missing off the front door area (left side).

There are two photos side by side that I'm seeing. One shows some paint or siding removed from the home as well near that back deck. It was not removed in another photo....

In one photo a lamp is visibly ON and can be seen through a window near that front door (to the right). Living room / family room is my guess there based on size of the lamp I'm seeing.
ETA: I'm adding things I'm noticing as I'm eyeballing two photos.....

Before picture does not have the decorations up. Has someone possibly borrowed these photos to make new conspiracy theories up? That kind of thing starts to happen at this point in cases like this. I'm seeing them online, but haven't found a MSM link yet to where they originated from - I will post the link once I find it as there has to be one - these probably were originally from MSM but whoever posted them originally didn't link...

I double checked and the photos I'm seeing have LE in them so they're not from the power wash company, and they probably had to come from some main stream media source - but whoever posted them where I saw them didn't provide an MSM link... so... I'm hunting google images trying to find the links.... sigh.

I remember in one of the earlier threads someone posting an aerial photo and it showed a "missing" part of the side deck. I believe in one of the pictures you posted you can almost see that area where the railing is missing. Speculation was that it was for a set of steps to get to the yard. I wonder, now though, if it was broken while the perp(s) were leaving with Jayme?

Thanks to everyone for all the great updates; so appreciated!

I think we have an impressive brigade of highly skilled LE focused on bringing the little princess home, and great street cam shots. I believe the FBI labs should be able to do quite a bit with those images, and I truly believe an arrest will be imminent.

I am so impressed by the response of the locals, and Wisconsonians in general! From my perspective, they have already defeated the Perp by their action in coming together for the common cause of bringing the little princess home.

As I pointed out upthread, I find this neighbor objectionable. Of *course* they didn't answer the door because (a) they know they have a nosy neighbor or (b) one of the adults is always sleeping because they work different shifts at Jennie O (c) both of the above

I don't remember reading that the light was on when LE arrived, but I did post a photo back a bit showing the light on that morning while investigation was still going on at the scene. I wasn't able to determine if light was always on or if LE turned it on when they arrived.

Was James’s truck parked so far back or was it moved for emergency vehicles?

Does the track look new or is there grass growing in it?

That is what I am thinking - LE took that bench for further analysis.... leading me to believe they had reason to believe it may have had some evidentiary value.

I still would like to see the photos without the bench but it does not surprise me if LE took it. It may have foot prints in it. Someone could have stood on it to case the place prior to the attack. Or to stalk the family/Jayme. JMO.
