Good one!

I had scanned Denise's FB but totally forgot about those birthday posts.
Yes, that was a great observation by Nervous nelly. They must have used that expression for a reason. "I love you to the moon" Something her mom must have said so many times... so sad.

Praying for jc and her family.

I'm a little surprised at how many people think you have to be very strong to kick a door in. A young, smallish woman (not me, BTW) can kick a door in having a temper tantrum.
I agree. It's not that hard. We don't know which kinds of locks were engaged, the type or condition of the door frame beforehand, and many other factors that could have made it easier or harder.

I think or believe that jayme is in the area.too many trees to see which way the 🤬🤬🤬 went. what ever they did was in the cover of night.

I just found a question asked on Indeed regarding what the 1st shift hours were. The reply was 6:30-3:30. Presuming they consider Days 1st shift and this would be 6:30am-3:30pm, the next shift would be 3:30pm-12:30am. It has been said that Dad was at work that evening. This would put him getting home minutes before this all took place. Even after the description from the dispatch log, and other discussions here, I still feel dad could have come home to trouble, and possibly have been the one who kicked the door in. Or someone followed him home from work.

Door was kicked in according to all police reports. That does mean aggression, as that is not easy despite how it looks on TV.
I've seen it done and it can be surprisingly easy.

I have a family member that has been in LE for 20 years. He was already aware of this case obviously due to the amber alerts, etc. We are about 15 hours away from Barron, Wi so I just showed him the press conference where the aunts were speaking. He said it was extremely calculated and thinks this might explain part of the aunts demeanor for those who feel she didn't seem emotional enough. I told him that a lot of people (not all) seemed to feel a "weird vibe" from the press conference as a whole (based on what I have read). He said it might feel weird to someone who doesn't know the objective, whatever that is supposed to mean. Just wanted to share.
His thoughts are much appreciated. Good to have LE insight.

Imagine though, how weird it must feel to have to stand there and give a statement at a press conference after your niece has been taken and your brother and sister (in-law) have been murdered. Never in your wildest dreams would you foresee this. We need to remember that this family has also suffered two incredible and sudden and violent losses. Who knows really how to act in that moment.

So there’s finally a reward but apparently not from the couple’s long-time employer. Being a large company, I’d have expected them to offer something quickly. If nothing else, it’s always good publicity. So no reward makes me wonder why not. I’ve seen a small local convenience mart pay to ship a murdered clerk’s body across the Atlantic for burial at home (killed on the job). I’ve seen a dress chain pay for an murdered employee’s funeral (not killed on the job). This feels off to me. Anybody else?

We don't know what the company is doing behind the scenes though, so no, for me it doesn't feel off whatsoever. JMO

A few comments have seemed to suggest that the Starbucks coffee and/or something said in the press conference could've been used as a cryptic message to a perp that LE is onto him/her/them. I can assure you that the last thing LE is going to do in this situation is taunt someone who has already impulsively murdered two people and has another potential murder victim in tow.

JMO.
Right. More likely they are saying, "Jayme, we haven't forgotten you. Don't forget about us. Come home to us."

We have tried and tried to figure out when he may have gotten home, but it hasn't been confirmed. All we know is that he was working during the day at the time of the party. Unless that's changed and I missed something.

Remember in the MT case, we were wondering abt the tiny award offered by the power co-op, but really it was just a start. In the meantime, family & community members & businesses were working with Crime Stoppers to pool funds for the most enticing reward. It’s really too early to say the Closs’s employers are doing nothing. I’m betting they’re working on contributing in all sorts of ways.

exactly! I think that was the point they were trying to make, especially if the aunts were reading a statement that could likely have been mostly prepared for them by the FBI based on the personal info and likes/dislikes/important things to Jayme that they obviously had input on...jmo!

I know it's farfetched, but if someone is keeping her captive, maybe LE is hopimg the perp will go to a Starbucks and buy her favorite drink for her. Maybe LE has told Starbucks in the area to BOLO for this. Farfetched, I know.

If she likes Starbucks and was known to attend the local Starbucks at all I would wager LE already spoke to staff and reviewed any video they may have to see if she shows up in any from prior days or weeks and if so alone? With somoene? On a secret cell phone (maybe she had one her parents didn’t know about?).

As time has gone on...hard to believe that the perpetrators were known to family or a stalker of Jayme.....
Plenty of time to dig into their lives, interviews- there would be a lead....
So: have to speculate the only scenario that makes sense is the senseless.
Even so:
Main questions: Why spend 20-30 minutes in the home....?
even the most senseless of crimes this is mind boggling
taking Jayme isn't so mind boggling - there's reasons, even if senseless
But spending u to a half hour in a home wherein you've just shot two people dead?
And nothing was stolen??
Beyond bizarre

Did LE search the area northeast of barron?

Is it possible that the father is the one who kicked in the door? If it was bolted and he heard screams or knew some other way that his family was in trouble, he could have kicked it open.

That’s the strangest part. If you go in quietly, I can see spending time there. But to go in that loud and then hang around? That’s beyond comprehension.

Nothing makes sense here, no matter the scenario you come up with.

Not a bad theory at all, but LE is looking for 2 cars.

JMO.
After all that, you mention the cars?! I couldn't even find that in the scenario! I got lost after "mental castration."

Someone posted earlier that Jenny O is in the process of gathering a reward.
