Green eyes are unusual and draw attention. One of my children has very striking green eyes. She is a very pretty child in general and draws a lot of attention, especially from men- I don’t mean in a completely creepy way- but guys will smile at her, speak to her, give her things. She’s only 7. I keep a close eye on all my children, but that one makes me particularly nervous. When we travel in countries where blonde haired, green eyed children are not the norm- she really draws a lot of attention. And I have even been told by locals to keep a careful eye on my kids while in other countries for that reason. Creepy but true. I’m sure most don’t have ill intentions and are just acting kindly towards her, but the amount of attention she gets from strangers is concerning.
I dont think their is any research, statistics or case history of murder to support and an abduction due to the color of someones eyes. I googled it.

Interesting scenario. The Sheriff stated they located the phone that was used to make the call. They will be able to tell when and at what time any calls were made or received. If it was turned off, they can locate inside the phone what time it was shut off. And whose fingerprints are on it.
I had zero idea they had located the phone used to call 911. I must have missed more in these posts than I thought. I work in southern WI, and we all got the same Amber Alert at the same time at work so have been following collectively. Wonder what other important facts I've missed. TY for pointing this out.

I understand (I think), what was meant by that, but I wonder: are green eyes the most attractive ones to evil perps??
I don't have a clue, all I know is it creeped me out, and I rarely feel that way .

Strange. I know the FBI official Missing Persons report lists them as green, but I've viewed every photo on her mother's FB page and a few others that shows a clear photo of her face up close, and I'd say they were blue or blue-gray! Semantics, doesn't matter, except for those that think it means something here. ?

I doubt there is. A poster asked why a perp would consider green eyes a trophy. I said because they are unusual. I doubt her eye color had anything to do with her abduction. But it certainly could have drawn attention to her. I am more likely to notice someone who has something unusual about their appearance. And green eyes are unusual.

Well, yes, but that only tells us that an intruder forced his way into the home. It does not give us an indication that he was a friend who left the house to retrieve a gun from his car.
if they got in a argument and the family locked the door to keep him out. It could easily been some giy trying to date their daughter and the parents said no.

Most seem to think this one is a targeted attack, largely because of Jayme. But maybe it was random. They were looking for a house to shoot up and possible rob and they chose that house because the lights were still on. Maybe they took Jayme as a bonus. This person may be beyond angry; someone really deranged.
Yes. I generally hate to go there, because that type of thing doesn’t happen with any regularity.

But it does happen, and when it does, it frequently looks something like this.

Brazen, violent, and incredibly difficult to solve.

That scenario is definitely in play for me.

Possible, but we’re talking close to 1AM on a Sunday night/Monday morning.

I think a connection would have been made quickly, if anything like that occurred.

Sorry if answered already....I understand they went to the casino to retrieve their outside video.
i think that's what we speculated, but i do not think any of us know for sure. (someone correct me if i'm wrong plz).

I dont think it means anything but sometimes hazel can look blue or green depending on the environment and colors around them. Jmo

Interesting. I am an anomaly I guess lol, as I have very green eyes. My cousin had a nickname of "Jade" when we were younger.
I do too, but I definitely don’t think that eye color is related here.

Could of been why the door was kicked in

Hi all, brand new on this site and have been reading thru the threads a bit.

I have two partial scenarios which, in my mind either/both could explain the 20min time lapse. Both assume that Jayme is a sexual target.

Scenario #1: DC was using the bathroom when perpetrators shot dad at door. Not realizing this, perpetrators go straight to Jayme's room. DC hears the danger and dials 911 from the bathroom. The commotion between Jayme and perps is heard on the 911 call, which isn't clear on the other end because the bathroom door is closed. DC doesn't talk because it's the best way that she can protect her daughter at the moment. At some point, perps figure out that DC is in the house or overhear dispatcher on phone. They find and shoot DC and take Jayme (whom now is a witness and/or has DNA evidence).

Scenario #2: Perps kill dad at door. DC is in sight, and they threaten her with killing Jayme if she intervenes, and force or order her into the bathroom. In the interest of keeping Jayme alive, DC complies.

Would either of these scenarios, or a combination of the two, be plausible? I apologize if they have already been explored on the thread.

Welcome wolfpost. :):):)
Your first post.
Hope there are many more from you.

We know LE at least suspects somebody or someone drove there and drove away by giving the description of the cars

There is absolutely no evidence to support that though. We have heard absolutely nothing about any male connected to her in this way.

To my knowledge, we do not know who kicked in the door or when or why. We are speculating that the perp kicked it in that night in order to kill the parents. We do not know this and I can think of other possibilities.
